초등학생 사이버 괴롭힘 가해 위험요인 검사문항 개발 및 타당화 = Development and validation of questionnaire assessing risk factors of cyberbullying offenders for elementary school students

국문 초록 (Abstract)

최근 학교 현장에서는 학교폭력과 더불어 사이버 괴롭힘이 심각한 문제로 부각되고 있다. 오늘날의 청소년 폭력은 학교라는 울타리에 국한되지 않고 사이버 공간에서의 폭력으로 확대되고 있으며, 괴롭힘의 방법도 다양화되고 그 강도도 점점 더 심각해지고 있다. 이와 함께 사이버 괴롭힘에 대한 실태 파악에 대한 요구 및 예방의 중요성이 높아지고 있다. 청소년들 사이에서 사이버 괴롭힘의 심각성이 매우 높아졌음에도 불구하고 사이버 괴롭힘에 대한 연구는 최근에서야 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 그러나 대부분의 연구가 사이버 괴롭힘 실태 조사에 머무르고 있으며 사이버 괴롭힘 가해 행동의 원인을 다각적으로 분석하여 가해 행동을 검사하는 문항은 개발되지 않았다. 이러한 필요성에 의해 본 연구에서는 사이버 괴롭힘 가해 위험요인의 요인 구조를 밝히고, 신뢰도가 높고 타당한 사이버 괴롭힘 가해 위험요인 검사문항을 개발하고자 하였다. 이 연구의 목적은 사이버 괴롭힘 가해의 위험요인 검사문항을 개발하여 사이버 괴롭힘을 예방하는데 도움이 되고자 하는데 있다. 따라서 예방적 차원에서 전통적 괴롭힘이 초등학교 고학년에서부터 중학생이 될 때 가장 증가하는 점에 착안하여 예방의 효과가 가장 클 것이라 기대되는 초등학생 5, 6학년을 선정하여 초등학생용 사이버 괴롭힘 가해 위험요인 검사문항을 개발하고 타당화하였다.
위의 연구목적에 입각하여 연구문제를 크게 두 부분으로 나누어 진행하였다. 첫째, 사이버 괴롭힘 가해 위험요인 검사문항을 개발하였다. 둘째, 사이버 괴롭힘 가해 위험요인 검사문항을 타당화하였다.
연구 결과 첫째, 사이버 괴롭힘 가해행동과 관련된 선행연구의 분석을 통해 1차 델파이 조사용 설문 97문항을 만든 후, 2차에 걸친 전문가들의 내용 타당도 검증을 거쳐 71문항을 선정하였다. 검사문항의 구인 타당도를 알아보기 위해 탐색적 요인분석을 실시한 결과, 5요인(폭력 경험, 부모 관계, 존중·지지감, 충동·공격성, 사이버매체 과몰입)으로 나누어졌고, 각각의 요인에 속한 문항 중 요인부하량이 높은 문항들을 선별하여 20개의 문항을 구성하였다.
둘째, 요인별 각 문항들이 하위 요인을 적절히 설명하고 있는지 구성된 척도의 타당도를 검증하기 위해 확인적 요인분석을 실시한 결과 모든 적합도의 수용 수준에 적합하다고 판정되었다. 이는 사이버 괴롭힘 가해 위험요인 검사문항은 상이한 표집에서도 본 연구의 모형이 잘 부합될 수 있음을 나타내는 것으로 개발된 문항이 타당함을 나타낸다. 또한 개발된 검사문항의 준거 타당도를 확인하였다. 즉 5개 요인 모두 요인에 포함된 문항들이 서로 동질적이며, 각 하위 요인을 측정하기에 양호한 내용으로 구성되었음이 입증되었으며, 5개 요인별로 사이버 괴롭힘 가해 경험 유무와의 평균 비교 검증 결과 유의미한 차이를 나타내었다.
결론적으로 본 연구에서 문항개발과정과 타당화과정을 통해 개발한 초등학생 사이버 괴롭힘 가해 위험요인 검사문항이 신뢰도가 높고 타당한 검사도구인 것을 확인하였다. 이와 같은 결과를 바탕으로 초등학생의 사이버 괴롭힘 가해 행동의 예방 및 개입을 위한 교육적 함의와 활용방안을 논의하고 후속연구의 방향을 제시하였다. 본 연구에서 개발된 사이버 괴롭힘 가해 위험요인 검사문항을 통해 사이버 괴롭힘 가해 행동을 예방할 수 있는 발판을 제공하였으며, 개발된 문항은 예방 프로그램의 개발, 예방적 서비스의 제공에 활용되어 질 것이라 기대한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to develop a way of measuring questionnaire assessing risk factors for cyberbullying offenders, and to test reliability and validity of the questionnaire assessing.
For this, I formulated 97 preliminary questions from previous studies. The questionnaire assessing was then reviewed by twenty experts two times, after which sixty-one items were selected. To evaluate construct validity, exploratory factor analysis was performed in a sampling of 553 elementary school students(grades 5-6) and confirmatory factor analysis was performed in a sampling of 523 elementary school students(grades 5-6).
Collected data were statistically analysed using SPSS 20.0 program and Amos 18.0 program as follows. First, frequency and percentage were calculated to measure the demographical background of the subjects. Second, exploratory factor analysis was conducted to measure the validity of the questionnaire assessing risk factors for cyberbullying offenders constructs. Third, confirmatory factor analysis was conducted to measure if the items of each factor provide adequate explanation on sub questionnaire. Fourth, reliability analysis was conducted to measure the reliability of the questionnaire assessing risk factors for cyberbullying offenders using Cronbach's α internal consistency. And to evaluate discriminative validity, experiences of cyberbullying offense were compared by t-test.
As a result of exploratory factor analysis, they were divided into five factors, and the Varimax Rotation Method was used. The 5 factors were named: violence experience, relationship with parents, impulsivity·aggression, esteem·support, and cyber media overindulgence. Finally, twenty preliminary questions were selected. Reliability for measuring the questionnaire assessing risk factors for cyberbullying offenders by sub-item was .662~.799, showing relatively high internal consistency.
As a result, confirmatory factor analysis for five factors was conducted to test generalization of a model through construct validity. Examination of the goodness of fit index for the model showed Ⅹ²=369.936, df=160, Ⅹ²/df= 2.312, TLI =0.904, IFI=0.928, CFI=0.927, RMSEA=0.048, showing five factors of the questionnaire assessing(violence experience, relationship with parents, impulsivity·aggression, esteem·support, and cyber media overindulgence) would be generally valid to factor structure model.
The clinical and educational implications of this research are briefed as follows: the measuring questionnaire assessing for risk factors of cyberbullying offenders developed by this study was confirmed as a reliable and valid measuring instrument.
It also provides counseling professionals with fundamental data of counseling case conceptualization regarding cyberbullying offenders and helps them to have appropriate information about cyberbullying offenders. Thus, this study helps to build a group intervention strategy in schools by catergorizing the risk factors of cyberbullying offenders. Furthermore, we can use the fundamental data in school settings when we carry out prevention and treatment programs in the future.
