사이버폭력 피해에 관한 연구 - 인터넷을 사용하는 20대 남ㆍ여 대학생을 중심으로 = A Study on Cyber-Violence Victimization

국문 초록 (Abstract)

  사이버폭력 등 인터넷 사용에 있어서 역기능을 최소화하고 올바른 사이버문화를 만들어 가기 위해 인터넷을 바르게 사용하는 것이 매우 중요하다. 그러나 사이버폭력 피해 등에 대하여 효과적인 대응이나 예방이 이루어지지 못하고 있는 실정이므로, 정확한 실태파악을 통한 문제의식의 확산과 효과적인 대응노력이 필요하다. 실태분석에 따르면 인터넷 사용에 있어서 대부분의 응답자가 거의 매일 한 시간 이상씩 인터넷을 이용하고 자료검색이나 웹 서핑, 미니홈피나 블로그 등의 이용하고 있었다. 사이버폭력에 대한 지식을 가지고 있으나 심각성을 크게 느끼고 있지 않았고 유형별 심각성에서는 사이버음란을 가장 심각하게 느끼고 있었다. 사이버폭력 유형별로 조금은 다르지만 50～60%가 피해경험을 가지고 있었고 특히, 사이버 성폭력이나 음란의 경우 90% 이상이 경험을 있어 매우 심각함을 알 수 있었다. 효과적인 사이버폭력의 규제로는 크게 법적ㆍ기술적ㆍ개인적ㆍ사회적 측면에서의 노력으로 나눌 수 있었는데, 법적인 부분에서는 보편적 운영기준의 제시, 대응기관 간 연계시스템 강화가 필요하고 기술적인 부분에서는 음란물 차단 프로그램과 내용에 따라서 등급을 매길 수 있는 소프트웨어 기술의 개발ㆍ보급 등이 있다. 개인적ㆍ사회적 측면에서는 비밀번호의 철저한 관리와 사이버 문화교육 및 홍보, 실명제 도입, 개인정보 공개 금지 등의 노력 등이 필요하다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

  The information society is required to have sound ethic senses to conduct information activities, but the members of the society have been interested in the benefits from the society but lacked in their efforts to cultivate sound information cultures. At this juncture, this study aims to investigate into and analyze the actual and current state of the damages college students have sustained from cyber violence, with a view to come up with appropriate countermeasures and encourage people to eradicate cyber violence. As for the damages of cyber violence, 50～60% have experienced the damages of general cyber violence. In particular, more than 90% have experienced the damages of cyber sexual violence or cyber pornography. In fact, such experiences lead to fear of cyber violence. The more the subjects have experienced the damages of cyber violence, the more they recognize the severity of cyber violence.<BR>  Reasonable countermeasures against the cyber violence detected through the said positive researches include legal, technological, social, and individual actions. The government shall allow anyone to use such software as to cope by themselves with the violence. In the meantime, practically, cyber violence is so prevalent and pervasive through the Internet that legislation only cannot do completely and satisfactorily prevent the violence. Accordingly, what is most important in meeting cyber violence is the Internet users" endeavor to prevent the damages of the violence and relieve themselves from the damages.
