        홍어 및 노랑가오리 위장관 점액질에 대한 조직화학적 연구

        This study is performed in order to clarify the histochemical properties of the mucosubstances in the gastrointestinal mucosa of skate ray, Raja kenojei and sting ray, Dasyatis akajei. The mucosubstances were stained with periodic acid Schiff(PAS), alcian blue pH 2.5, aldehyde fuchsin pH 1.7, aldehyde fuchsin pH 1.0, alcian blue pH 2.5-PAS, and aldehyde fuchsin pH 1.7-alcian blue pH 2.5. In the mucosubstances on striated border of gastrointestinal tract, the gastric mucin of skate rays and sting rays contained small amounts of strongly sulfated and large amounts of neutral mucins. The intestine of skate ray was contained less amounts of nonsulfated, and small amounts of neutral mucins. But the intestine of sting ray was cotained small amounts of strong sulfated, and neutral mucins. The mucous secreting epithelial cells in gastric mucosa of skate ray were contained small to large amounts of nonsulfated and large amounts of neutral mucins. Above epithelial cells of sting ray were contained small amounts of nonsulfated, and large amounts of neutral mucins. In the proximal intestine, the characteristic properties within goblet cells were detected, such as small or large amounts of strong sulfated and small amounts of neutral mucins, and also small amounts of weakly sulfated and neutral mucins, without distinction of the regions of the spiral valve in skate ray. In the distal intestine and rectum, they were composed of goblet cells containing small amounts of weakly sulfated and neutral mucins. But the former was relatively more prominent than the latter. In the middle intestine, it was composed of goblet cells with small amounts of strongly sulfated and neutral mucins, with small amounts of nonsulfated and neutral mucins, and with small amounts of weakly sulfated and nonsulfated mucins, but the former was much more than the latter. In sting ray, properties of goblet cells were different from the regions of spiral valve. In the basal and middle regions of spiral valve, they were composed of the goblet cells of proximal and middle intestine contained small amounts of strongly sulfated mucin. In the distal intestine, it was composed of goblet cells containing large amounts of strongly sulfated mucin, and goblet cells having large amounts of strongly sulfated and small amounts of neutral mucins, but the former was much more than the latter. In the top regions of spiral vlave, the proximal intestine was composed of the goblet cells having amounts of strongly sulfated mucin only, having small amounts of weakly sulfated and nonsulfated mucins. In the middle intestine, the goblet cells are composed of large amounts of strongly sulfated mucin only. The distal intestine, it was two types of goblet cells; one type of goblet cells was same as middle intestine, while other had large amounts of weakly sulfated and small amounts of neutral mucins. And also the rectum, it was two types of goblet cells; one type was same as middle intestine, while other had small amounts of weakly sulfated and large amounts of neutral mucins, but the former was more than the latter in the number of cells, respectively.

      • SBNR process에서 암모니아 부하가 N₂O 발생에 미치는 영향

        A laboratory scale BNR reactor was built to study the fate of N₂O production during BBNR(Bhortcut Biological' Nitrogen Removal. process and A/O process. Nitrous oxide(N₂O) is emitted from wastewater treatment processes. It is known as a greenhouse gas that contributes to global warming. Therefore it is importance to develop technology, that can suppress N₂O emission. Especially, N₂O emission' from the SBNR process was higher than that of A/O process. When a ono loading was increased(0.15 ∼ 0.6g/㎥day), dissolved N₂O concentration of nitrification was increased. And when nitrite concentration of aerobic basin was increased(0 ∼200 mg/L). N₂O emission rate was increased. As a results of this study, BURN process had an more effect on N₂O emission than A/O process.

      • 단축질소제거공정에서의 C/N비에 따른 N₂O발생 특성에 대한 연구

        Nitrous oxide(N₂O) is produced as by-production of nitrogen removal system from wastewater and associated with many parameter(such as DO, pH, Temperature, C/N ratio, accumulation of nitrite etc...). Especially SBNR (Shortcut Biological Nitrogen Removal) process have high potential of N₂0 production, but research about this relationship is insufficient. Ammonia concentration of Influent was 600 ppm and 2 sets of reactor (for A/O process and SBNR process) were used. Based on the results of this study A/O process (conventional nitrification and denitrification) was effected by C/N ratio but SBNR process did not. And N₂O production of BSNR oxic tank was observed constantly.

        본 논문에서는 R/S(Rescaled range)통계량을 어느 한 시계열에 대하여 누적편차를 이용하여 정의할 때, Hurst 지수측정에서 최소한의 필요한 데이터수는 N=2^10이며, 합당한 lag는 2^3 으로서 가능할 수 있음을 제안한다. In this study, in R/S(rescaled range) statistic by using cumulative deviation for one time series, we suggest that the minimum number of data in estimating Hurst Exponent is N=2^10 and the suitable length of lag is 2^3

        주의력결핍과잉행동장애와 Alpha-1C-Adrenergic 수용체 유전자와의 연관성에 대한 연구

        Objectives : Neurobiological and pharmacological research has suggested that the dysregulation of the central noradrenergic systems might be involved in the pathophysiology of ADHD. The aim of this study was to examine the association of the alpha-1C-adrenergic receptor gene (ADRA1C) with ADHD in Korean subjects. Methods : In a case-control study, we assessed 186 DSM-IV ADHD probands and 150 normal controls. One hundred and eight trios were studied in a family-based association analysis. Psychiatric diagnoses were derived through structured diagnostic interviews. For the clinical evaluation of the ADHD subjects, the Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL), the ADHD Rating Scale-IV (ARS) and the Junior Temperament and Character Inventory (JTCI) were administered. A computerized continuous performance test (CPT) was used to measure the inattention and impulsivity of the ADHD children. Results : There were no significant differences in the genotype or allele frequencies of the ADRA1C PstI polymorphism between the ADHD and control group (p>0.05). The transmission disequilibrium test (TDT) analysis observed no evidence for biased transmission of any of the alleles of the PstI polymorphism. There were no significant differences in the CPT or JTCI profiles between those ADHD subjects with the CC genotype and those with the other (CT+TT) genotypes at the PstI polymorphism. Conclusion : The results of this study do not support the ADRA1C as a major genetic susceptibility factor in ADHD.

        On the Distribution of Extrinsic -tul: A corpus-based study

        The fact that extrinsic plural marker -tul in Korean can be attached to non-nominal elements such as adverbs or verbs has directed many researchers’ attention to its distribution and licensing conditions. Based on the authentic data from Sejong Corpus and six drama scripts, we aim to see whether the list of hosting categories of extrinsic -tul and the licensing conditions for its distributions reported in the literature (e.g., Song, 1997) can be empirically attested. By going over the data extracted from the corpora, we first found that there are more hosting categories than reported in the previous studies, and confirmed the previous finding that extrinsic -tul is suffixed to adverbs most frequently. As for the licensing conditions, it was confirmed that other plural nominals than subjects, especially those named Major Subjects or Grammatical Subjects in Korean Double Nominative Constructions, can license extrinsic -tul, whether they are overt or covert. We also observed that animacy plays a crucial role when numeral-classifier phrases function as a licenser.
