        Analysis of Factors Influencing the Composition of Oil Tanker Fleet of Domestic Refinery Companies

        The international oil majors have been reducing the size of their own oil tanker fleet since early 1980s. Like international oil majors, the Korean refineries are becoming more dependent on tanker chartering rather than tanker ownership for their oil transportation since the 1990s. They also prefer spot charter to time charter and this kind of trend has continued up to now. Consequently, this paper attempted to find the factors influencing changes in tanker fleet composition. To attain the object of the paper, an empirical study is adopted using the ten decision-making factors derived from preceeding studies. The findings are that MARPOL and OPA 90, and transportation costs are the most important factors influencing an oil tanker fleet composition.

        Fabrication of Micro-inductor and Capacior For RF MEMS Applications

        In this paper, we present the fabrication of tunable capacitors and 3-dimensional inductors. This work was related to fabricated 3-dimensional device for need of micro device in developing new intelligence age. This device was fabricated by electroplating used electroplating PR and high-vacuum evaporation of metal. Fabricated micro-inductor is consisted of air-bridge on electroplating rod and electroplated core. Micro-capacitor is consisted of thin metal membrane and electroplated core. Electroplating material is used Cu metal solvent. Air-gap between metal-layers function as almost perfect isolation layer. The most advantage of our micro-inductor and micro-capacitor compared to present device is a possibility that can fabricate on RF MEMS(microelectro-mechanical systems) application with high performance and various function.         Three dimensional character is emerging area for the future industry which is mainly applied to three dimensional animations, three dimensional games and movies The three dimensional characters as actors or actresses in the animation are finished with the technology of computer graphics and need a lot oaf study. For example, there are the basic progresses of work called $quot;Face, body, pose and facial expression.$quot; Because the three dimensional images are expressed with the four steps to match the image form the two dimensional images or sketches of original concept these are very important steps. However sometimes we forget to do the four steps, especially, we forget the facial expression frequently. The goal of this study is to find out the most effective way to make a face which egress the mood and tone from the original image and to examine the data of the three dimensional models.

      • 농축산물 브랜드화의 문제점 개선을 위한 마케팅전략

        우리 나라 농축산물시장의 개방이후 농축산물의 공급과잉현상으로 소비자들의 구매선태권이 다양화되고, 재배기술의 평준화 및 주산지가 확대되면서 생산물을 차별화, 특화시키는 전략의 일환으로 브랜드화의 중요성이 부각되고 있다. 그러나 농축산물 브랜드화의 중요성에도 불구하고 브랜드 개발과정에서 많은 문제점을 노출하고 있는 것이 현 실태이다. 따라서 본 연구는 농축산물의 브랜드화의 현황을 분석한 후 브랜드화에 따른 문제점을 도출하고 도출된 문제점들을 중심으로 이에 대한 개선점을 마케팅관점에서 제시하였다. 결론적으로 브랜드화의 성공을 위하여 지역농협을 중심으로 개발된 브랜드의 지속적인 관리와 함께 생산자단체 등에 대한 브랜드 지식창조를 위한 교육이 필요하다. The aim of the present paper is to improve on branding problems of agricultural and livestock products in Korea by analyzing the statistical data which is present status of agricultural and livestock products published by ministry of agricultural and forest. To achieve the objective, raised 5 points at issue. Thus, the improvement schemes suggested from marketing point of view. And above issues are also discussed in the context of marketing mix. Then, the marketing strategy was developed which will apply branding management. The findings in this study is building a brand marketing system urgently fitted Korean style. For this project success, establishing event marketing and customer service department is necessary centering local National Agricultural Cooperative Federation(Nonghyup). Also needed education about brand knowledge to the people working for agricultural allied industries.

        단순이동평균모형에 의한 VaR의 분석

        1997년 금융위기가 오자 금융분야의 researcher들은 risk management에 더욱 관심을 가지게 되었다. 최근 들어 한국에서 VaR에 의한 risk management가 소개되었고, 이를 사용하기 시작했다. VaR는 개념상 간단하기 때문에 market risk managing and montioring의 하나의 방식으로 일반적 group이나 financial institute에 의해 폭넓게 사용되어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 5개 철강회사들을 포트폴리오로 구성하여 델타평가법 중 단순이동평균모형으로 포토폴리오의 VaR를 구해보았다. 이 논문은 market risk를 측정하기 위해 널리 사용되고 있는 VaR를 구하기 위한 risk matrix방법 중 한 가지를 사용하여 구하였다. VaR계산방법은 추구하는 정확성과 적시성의 정도에 의하여 선택되어야 한다. VaR는 시장 위험을 측정하는 하나의 도구에 지나지 않으므로 VaR시스템을 지나치게 신뢰하는 것은 위험하다. VaR의 가장 큰 단점은 VaR보다 더 큰 손실이 발생할 확률에 대해서는 정보를 제공하지만 VaR보다 더 큰 손실이 발생할 확률에 대해서는 정보를 제공하지만 VaR보다 더 큰 손실이 발생하는 경우의 손실의 크기에 대해서는 전혀 정보를 제공하지 않는다. 따라서 VaR를 측정하는 목적과 상황에 따라 이들을 선별 또는 병행하여 활용하는 것이 중요하다. The financial crisis of Korea in 1997 attracted interests in the risk management among researchers in financial sector. In those days, risk management by Valueatrisk(VaR) approach was introduced and began to be applied in risk management modeling in Korea. VaR has been widely promoted by regulatory groups and embraced by financial institutions as a way of monitoring and managing market risk because of its conceptual simplicity. This particular thesis considers the usefulness of VaR methods for selecting equities which compose a particular portfolio in five steel companies. For the examination of the usefulness of VaR, the cumulative returns of steel companies were calculated by Moving Average. This paper occurred over a 742-day period (from 1st January 2001 to the end of December 2003) and daily prices for equities were analyzed. They were analyzed using data from stock prices information by yahoo. The statistics calculated were variance-covariance matrix and VaR as computed by daily prices. This paper uses the one methodology of Risk Metrics for computing VaR of equities, because of a widely used methodology for measuring market risk.

        전통공연예술산업의 수익 다원화를 위한 해외시장진출 모델연구

        본 연구의 목적은 한국 전통공연예술 산업이 무상지원에 의존하는 단일한 수익구조의 한계를 극복하는 데 해외시장진출이 기회요인이 될 수 있는지를 탐색하는 것이다. 이를 위해 먼저 산업가치사슬과 비즈니스모델의 개념을 응용하여 해외시장진출과정을 준비, 추진, 수확, 후속의 4단계로 구분한 분석 틀을 설계하였다. 또한 전통음악분야에서 시장지향적 사고를 갖고 능동적으로 해외시장개척에 나선 사례 3곳을 발굴하여 현 단계 한국 전통공연예술 산업의 해외진출모델을 도식화하였다. 해외시장이 아직은 주요 수익원이 되지는 못하지만 수익 다원화 차원에서 해외진출을 추진하는 전통공연예술종사자라면 본 연구에서 도출한 해외진출모델을 고려해 볼 수 있다. 한편 정부는 사례연구에서 지적되었듯이 전통공연예술 산업의 해외진출을 담당하는 전문기획자와 유통전문가를 양성하는 제도를 정비하고, 해외진출을 위한 일회성 경비지원 일색에서 벗어나 장기적인 정보제공 프로그램을 개발해야 한다. The purpose of this study is to explore whether entering the overseas market can be an opportunity in overcoming the limitations of the single profit structure in which the traditional performing arts industry relies on public support. To this end, we applied the concept of industrial value-chain and business model and divided the overseas market entry process into four stages-preparation, promotion, harvest, and follow-up. Based on three case-studies that actively pursued overseas market development with market-oriented thinking in the field of traditional music, the relevant entry model of overseas market for the Korean traditional performing arts industry was suggested. Although the overseas market is not yet a major source of revenue, the traditional performing arts teams searching for profit diversification can consider the overseas entry model derived from this study. Also as found in case studies, the Korean government should establish an institutional system to foster planning and distribution experts in charge of overseas markets for the traditional performing arts, and develop a long-term information provision program away from the one-time expense support.
