        Angle씨 Ⅲ급 부정교합자의 Activator치료 전후 head posture변화에 관한 연구

        This study was carried out to research the adaptation patterns of head posture after activator therapy in functional class Ⅲ malocclusion patents. For this purpose, 29 functional class Ⅲ malocclusion patients, from the ages of 8 to 13 years old, were used. 1. Increse in capacity of oral cavity capacity were found in all the samples, but craniocervical angulation were varied into incresed group and decreased group after therapy. 2. Head posture exhibited the compensatory adaptation in the relative growth increments of the vertical dimension, ALFH and PLFH. 1) A group with more PLFH and less sagittal angle showed relatively small growth increment in PLFH during the treatment period, thus craniocervical angulation was increased. 2) A group with less PLFH and more sagittal angle showed relatively great growth incrmenet in PLFH during the treatment period, thus craniocervical angulation was decreased.

      • 一般强度 圓形鋼管과 高强度 콘크리트가 合成된 短柱의 擧動特性

        A composite structural system using concrete and steels, which is called "steel reinforced concrete" system has been used for buildings taller than 6-story. In these days Concrete Filled steel Tubular(CFT) members has become very popular and constructions are increasing. The results of axilly loaded circular stub columns is introduced in this paper. Sixteen specimen were tested to investigate the effect on the ultimate strength of inner concrete and diameter to thickness ratio. As a result of this study, we found that the circular hollow section members filled with high strength concrete showed the increasing rate from 1.03 to 1.14. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the characteristics of CFCT stub columns filled with high strength concrete and. suggest the basic data for the design of Concrete Filled Tubular structures.

      • 실리카흄을 사용한 충전강관용 초고강도 콘크리트에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to investigate properties of the ultra high strength concrete using silica fume for concrete filled tubular. For this purpose, the properties of concrete are examined with varing water/binder ratio, binder content, maximum size of coarse aggregate, sand/aggregate ratio. From these test results, it is possible to manufacture the maximum compressive strength of 1008㎏/㎠ with binder content 560㎏/㎥, 21% water/binder ratio, 10% silica fume content. And it is possible to predict the 28day compressive strength from the 7day strength. The equation for prediction is suggested.

      • 충전강관용 폴리머 시멘트 콘크리트의 역학적 성상

        The purpose of this study is to investigate mechanical properties of the polynmer modified concrete for concrete filled tubular. Latex dispersion on the basis of "styrene-butadiene rubber" was used as a cement modifier. Investigation of the fresh and hardened modified concrete behavior was made on the basis of testing concretes modified with 10, 20 percent of polymer admixture on the cement mass. The setting time of the polymer modified concrete was very retarded with the increase of the dosage of superplasticizers. The tensile and flexural strength was very increased with the increase of polymer-cement ratio. At the water-cement ratios 0.34, 0.29 and the polymer-cement ratio 0.1, compressive strength was slightly increased.

        The purpose of this study is to suggest the non-destructive equation for the estimation of concrete strength by ultrasonic pulse velocity about the 28day compressive strength of 600∼1000㎏/㎠. The correlation equations between the ultrasonic pulse velocity and the compressive strength of concrete are follows. ① F_c = 1198.4V_p - 5020 (R^2 = 0.83, plain concrete) ② F_c = 1010.0V_p - 4001 (R^2 = 0.92, concrete with 10% silica fume content) ③ F_c = 896.3V_p - 3514 (R^2 = 0.81, ①+②) where, F_c : compressive strength(㎏/㎠), V_p : ultrasonic velocity(㎞/sec)

      • 콘크리트 强度變化가 CFT短柱의 軸壓縮擧動에 미치는 影響

        This paper aims to report the experimental study on the axial compressive behavior of tubular stub columns filled with variable concrete strength(f_c=500, 1,000㎏/㎠). The 24 specimen were tested to investigate the relationships between concrete strength and the ultimate strength of stub column. The effects of inner concrete on the failure mode, the ultimate strength, initial stiffiness and deformation capacity was discussed. From this experimental study, we found that the ratio of concrete strength was not proportion to the increasing rate of ultimate strength. This paper presents an experimental study on the strength and deformation of concrete-filled steel stub columns. In Korea, there is not the compressive design standard of CFT columns filled with high strength concrete(500㎏/㎠ and over). Therefore, this results can make a contribution to the development of our own design standard.

      • 축압을 받는 비렌딜 트러스 설계에 관한 연구

        강관은 그 효율성 및 심미적 장점으로 건설시장에서의 이용이 확대되어가고 있으며, 그 기술의 발전 또한 괄목할 만하다. 그러나 강관 접합 문제를 다루는 상용 프로그램이 다양한 변수와 불확실성 문제를 해결할 만큼 확고히 구축되어 있지는 않은 실정이다. 컴퓨터를 이용한 정성분석기법 프로그램이 본 논문에 소개되었으며, 그 분석 결과는 다양한 범위의 영역으로 나타내 주기 때문에 많은 지식과 경험이 없는 엔지니어들에게 상당히 유용한 자료가 될 것이다. 강관을 이용한 비렌딜 트러스의 설계 예제를 통해 캐나다 규준과 국내 규준의 차이를 알아보고 이론해석 결과와 실험 결과와의 비교를 통해 그 강관 구조물 설계에 적용 가능성을 보여주었다. Steel hollow section members have been widely used as a major material in the construction market due largely to their efficiency, their aesthetic appeal, and to the technical development. But it is true that the commercial program for dealing with a joint problem using hollow section members is not firmly established due to its uncertain and variable design parameters. The qualitative analysis program developed by using computer is introduced in this study. The results of that analysis are shown in the two-dimensional space in variable ranges and diagrams, so it would be useful to whom have not many experiences and knowledges. It is represented that the differences between Canadian code and the Korean standard for the connections of hollow section members. And It is verified that the software is applicable to the preliminary design in steel tubular structures.

      • 폐목질을 사용한 시멘트보드의 물성에 관한 실험적 연구

        Recently, as the alternatives to preserve environment such as effective usage of wastes or unusable resources are drawing attentions, researches and measures for the two tasks, which are reuse of waste wood and development of eco~friendly materials, are being examined and established in various fields. However, they are still insufficient. Therefore, in this study, for the efficient application of waste woods and eco~friendly effects, mortar was produced using sawdust as the waste wood and mineral material cement for combination, in order to produce inorganic boards using waste woods, which were made when sawing. The present study purposed to analyze the physical and dynamic characteristics of woody cement boards, which were made by modifying water~cement ratio for each wood inclusion rate based on a hardening~accelerator inclusion rate set in previous studies and, based on the findings, to provide basic data about the physical properties of inorganic boards made of waste wood, in order to produce woody cement boards using waste wood, which has problems in being used in the manufacturing of woody cement boards.

      • 뇌졸중 후 중추성 통증 환자에 대한 동서협진이 진통과 재활에 미치는 영향

        Purpose : In order to study the effectiveness of East-West pain treatment on central poststroke pain(CPSP), we evaluated its effect on alleviation of pain and rehabilitation of CPSP Patients who were treated with electroacupuncture and west pain treatment for four weeks. Methods : Twenty four patients diagnosed by their pain characteristics of central pain from stroke were treated with sympathetic nerve block, gabapentin, amitriptyline, and electroacupuncture for four weeks. Pain intensity through the visual analogue scale(VAS), and improvements of mobility and rehabilitation through the modified Barthel index(MBI) and Rankin scale(RS), respectively, before and after pain treatment were also assessed. Results : VAS pain scores were significantly improved from 7.7±1.7 to 4.4±2.0 with pain treatment(p<0.05). In accordance with improvement of pain scores, RS and MBI scores were also improved from 2.88±0.95 to 2.13± 1.01 and from 83.0± 16.9 to 94.7±9.5(p<0.05), respectively, with pain treatment(p<0.05). Conclusions : It was suggested that the active pain treatment was contributed to the rehabilitation of CPSP patients, resulting in improvement of quality of life of CPSP patients. Futhermore, East pain treatment in combination with West pain treatment may be useful modality to alleviate CPSP.

        Testing of the Safety and the Effectiveness of Using Samjeong Pharmacopuncture Solution as Eye drops

        Objective: This experimental study was designed to investigate the safety and the effectiveness of Samjeong pharmacopuncture solution (SPS) manufactured by using a the lowtemperature extract on process. Methods: To identify the safety and the effectiveness of using SPS as eye drops, we performed applied eye irritation tests on rabbits and antibacterial tests for Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Aspergillus niger, Fusarium oxysporum, and Candida albicans. The eye irritation test was performed according to the toxicity testing regulation of the Korea Food & Drug Administration (2009. 8. 24, KFDA 2009-116). After SPS had been applied on the left eye of the rabbits, eye irritation in the cornea, iris and conjunctiva was observed on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 7th day. After SPS had been dropped on bacterial species that cause keratitis, the minimum inhibition concentration and the size of the inhibition zone were measured. The anti-bacterial potency was also measured by taking the size of inhibition zone. Results: After SPS had been administered on the left eye of the rabbits, none of nine rabbits were found to show abnormal signs or weight changes. After SPS had been administered on the left eye of the rabbits, no eye irritation in the cornea, iris and conjunctiva was observed on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 7th day. No specific response was detected in MIC for bacterial species Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Aspergillus niger, Fusarium oxysporum, and Candida albicans after SPS had been applied. Conclusions: This study suggests that SPS is a non-toxic and non-irritant medicine that does not cause any of eye irritation in rabbits, but it has no antibacterial effects on bacterial species that are well known to cause keratitis. These results suggest that more research is required on extracts from herbal medicines for treating keratitis.
