      • 초음파 진동이 가진된 밀폐용기에서 상변화 열전달 특성

        Solid-liquid phase change (i.e. melting or solidification) occurs in a number of situations of practical interest. Some common examples include the melting of edible oil. metallurgical process such as casting and welding, and materials science applications such as crystal growth. Therefore, due to the practical importance of the subject, there have been a large number of experimental and numerical studies of problems involving phase change during the past few decades. This study presents experimental work on phase change heat transfer. Especially, in order to increase heat transfer rate. ultrasonic vibrations were introduced. The melting cavity contained one vertical heating surface which dissipates heat at constant power and was insulated on the sides. Experimental observations show that the effect of ultrasonic vibrations on heat transfer is very important throughout melting process. The results of this study reveal that ultrasonic vibrations accompany the effects like agitation, acoustic streaming, cavitation, and oscillating fluid motion. Such effects are a prime mechanism in the overall melting process when ultrasonic vibrations are applied. They speed up the melting process as much as 2.5 times, compared with the result of natural melting. Also, energy can be saved by applying ultrasonic vibrations to the natural melting.

      • 장애자용 휠체어 리프트 계단 지지대 설계프로그램

        장애자용 리프트 설계시 계단 갯수와 모양등이 일정하지 않기 때문에 장소가 바뀜에 따라 수작업으로 도면수정작업을 해옴에 따라 설계능률의 저하로 이를 개선하고자 개발하였다. 사용자가 사용하기 쉽도록 개발하였고 애니메이션도 추가하여 이해를 돕도록 하였다. 입력 파일에는 각각의 계단의 폭과 높이를 입력시키고 이를 프로그램을 실행한 후 불러들인다. 출력값으로는 그래픽으로 보여지고 간단한 애니메이션과 마지막으로 출력데이터 파일을 만들게 된다. 이 데이터 파일 속에는 각각의 계단의 좌표와 리프트라인의 좌표값 그리고 각도가 데이터 값으로 쓰여진다. It is very tedious work to design the support unit of steps for the wheelchairs lift because the configure and number of step are irregular. This program is developed to cut time of designing these support unit by using computer. User interfaces using graphics are added to visualize the input dat and output results. The output file contains the coordinates of step original, heights and the inclination of the step unit.

        백서 허혈성 국소 뇌경색에서의 소뇌 실정핵 자극 효과

        Elecrical stimulation of the cerebellar fastigial nucleus(FN) increases cerebral blood flow(CBF) and reduces brain damage after focal cerebral ischemia. The authors studied whether the neuroprotection elicited from electrical stimulation of the cerebellar FN is attibutable to the elevation in regional CBF(rCBF) or reduction in release of excitatory amino acid. Sprague-Dawley rats were anesthetized with a mixture of halothane(3% for the induction and 1% for maintenance) and oxygen, and artificially ventilated through a tracheal cannula. Arterial pressure, blood gases and body temperature were monitored. The middle cerebral artery(MCA) was occluded distal to the lenticulostriate branches. The FN was then stimulated for 1 hour(100uA : 50Hz : 1sec on/1sec off). The changes in rCBF were measured by hydrogen clearance method for 2 hours, over the regions corresponding to the ischemic core and penumbra. Postischemic release of glutamate and aspartate were measured by microdialysis for 2 hours at the same site of measurement of rCBF. Infarct volume was determined 8 hours later in 2, 3, 5-triphenyl tetrazolium chloride(TTC)-stained sections. FN stimulation(n=12) increased mean arterial pressure by 28±16mmHg. In nonstimulated control rats(n=12), mean AP was not changed significantly during the experimental procedures. Compared with nonstimulated animal, stimulation of FN for 1 hour following MCA occlusion significantly increased rCBF in ischemic core and penumbra by 53.6% and 67.6% respectively. And the volume of infarction decreased by 42% at 8 hours after MCA occlusion. The concentration of glutamate and aspartate in ischemic core after MCA occlusion increased both in the control group(to 12.2±3.3 folds and 10.4±4.1 folds, respectively) and in the stimulation group(10.5±2.8 and 11.2±4.1 folds, respectively). The concentration of glutamate and aspartate in penumbra did change significantly neither in the control group(to 2.5±1.3 folds and 1.8±0.6 folds, respectively) nor in the stimulation group(1.9±0.5 folds and 2.1±0.4 folds, respectively). There was no significant difference between the two groups. These data indicate that neuroprotection elicited from electrical stimulation of the erebellar FN is attributable to the elevation in rCBF but no to the reduction in release of excitatory amino acid.

        This study tries to emphasize the necessity of new paradigms for the industrial relations of Korea. And then attempts to show how to establish these new paradigm for present and future work. The structures of this study are as follows: Following the question in the first chapter, second chapter is presented as a cultural foundation for the establishment of a new paradigm of industrial relations of Korea. Particularly, in regard to cultural principle' toward a new paradigm of industrial relations of Korea, it has been suggested that the "Dure Community", which is our traditional cultural asset. In chapter third, presents the process and features regrading paradigm of industrial relations which principal nations(namely the United States)have established cooperative industrial relations is considered in terms of the comparative view. In chapter fourth, shows the plan of establishing labor-management community program of Korean which stresses the basic idea not only of participation but also of cooperation. Chapter fifth is summary of this study.

      • 실질적인 원격교육 시스템과 그 원형 구축에 관한 연구

        본 논문의 주제는 실질적인 원격 교육 시스템의 설계와 그 원형 구축에 관한 연구이다. 원격 교육 시스템에 관한 다양한 장점이 있지만 그것을 설계하고 구현하는 일선교사들에게는 전문성의 부족으로 어려운 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 Lotus Domino/Notes에서 제공하는 웹 페이지 설계 기능과 native 웹 개발 도구들을 비교하고, 그것이 일선교사들에게 원격 교육 시스템을 설계하고, 관리하는데 얼마나 용이한가를 연구하였다. This paper is concerned with the design and implementation of a practical distance learning system. Even though there are various advantages of distance learning systems, it is too difficult for the teachers to design and implement them. In this paper, the followings are studied: (1) comparing native web publishing tools with the web page design facilities which Lotus Domino/Notes provides, and (2) how much easier it will be with the facilities for teachers to design and manage a distance learning system.

      • mRNA의 3' end processing에 대한 mRNA 중합요소 인산화의 영향

        RNA 중합효소의 C-terminal은 YSPTSPS의 반복적인 아미노산 서열을 갖고 있으며, 이들의 인산화는 전사의 개시, 중합, 또는 종결단계에 중요하다고 알려져 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 RNA 중합효소의 인산화가 mRNA의 3' end processing에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. C-terminal domain (CTD) of RNA polymerase Ⅱ contains a repeated heptameric sequence (YSPTSPS) which is phosphorylated at serine 2 and 5. Phosphorylation of CTD in elongating RNA polymerase Ⅱ has been suggested to play a role in transcriptional initiation, elongation or termination. In the present study, we investigated the effect of RNA polymerase Ⅱ CTD phosphorylation on the 3' end processing of mRNA.

      • 산업디자인 정책에 관한 연구 : 중소제조업을 중심으로 in Small & Medium Manufacturing Firm

        정부가 4년여에 걸친 중소기업에 대한 산업디자인의 지원 노력에도 불구하고 디자인 인식기반은 여전히 취약하다. 따라서 중소기업의 산업디자인 육성에 관한 제반 법적, 제도적 문제점을 지적해보고 선진외국의 사례를 비교하여 한정된 자원으로 가급적 단기간내에 가시적 성과를 가져올 수 있는 정부의 산업디자인 지원 육성방안에 대하여 고찰하였다 중소기업의 디자인분야에 대한 정부의 강력한 의지의 표명으로 (가칭) 「중소기업 산업디자인육성법」제정을 제안하고, 향후 중소기업을 위한 새로운 패러다임에 입각한 정부의 시책추진체계 구축 및 정책수단에 대하여 제안하였다. 정부의 지속적이고 강력한 의지와 중소기업이 이를 수용하고 추진하려는 경영자의 의지가 편짜될 때 중소기업의 디자인육성에 관한 뚜렷한 성과가 기대된다. Public awareness of the importance of design is still poor in spite of the 4 years of effort of the government to foster the field of industrial design. The purpose of this thesis is to study the legal and systematic problems related to the development of the Industrial design and thus, to suggest effective policies which are expected to bear considerable fruits soon. The policies and tool suggested include the legislation of necessary laws and the making of new system of policies based upon new paradigm. Continued and sustained strong support of the government together with the will of the managers will bring about the stable growth of design industry.

      • 열간압연시 판재내의 변형률과 온도분포가 압하력에 미치는 영향

        In sheet rolling, the hydraulic pressure at the rolling stand controls the roll gap which determines the thickness of a rolled sheet. Therefore, it is necessary to predict the rolling force for a given set of rolling conditions such as sheet material, initial thickness, final thickness, temperature, rolling speed, roll diameter and friction condition. In this study, the rigid plastic finite element method was applied to the prediction of the rolling force. The comparison of the analysis results with expermients showed discrepancies between -15% to 6%. In conclusion, a more rigorous analysis would be necessary for an accurate prediction which includes considerations of nonuniform distritributions of temperature in the sheet and the elastic deformation of rolls.
