        戱曲 「山돼지」 硏究

        This dissertation deals with Kim Woo-jin's 「Wild Boar」. Kim Woo-jin became indulged in his art during his University education. What's more, he tried to express the theatre art through a sharp insight of the times and created an optimistic atmosphere for Koreans under Japanese rule. His father, Kim Sung-kyu, was a president of the 'Mokpo Literary Association' and enjoyed writing poems. He also had such a special affection for literature that he contributed lots of money to support the 'Mokpo Literary Association'. And the world of death in Kim Woo-jin's works does not mean a real death. The world suggests the death of Korea traditional and conservative customs and reflects the difficult reality to break the traditional customs. His leaving home to lead a spiritual life carried on the very important meaning. 〈Noon〉 deals with the consciousness of class and nation, and 〈Lee Young-yeo〉 criticizes the defect of masculine centered society through Lee Yong-yeo. According to 「The Disgust of Poet Dooduckee」 and 「Shipwreck」 represent Kim Woo-jin's self conscious drama and the words of disgust and wreck symbolizes Kim Woo-jin's self desire for a new world. 「Wild Boar」 represents the free society for all people and the social awareness for reform. Kim Woo-jin includes the 'Dong Hak movement' in his drama and suggests a uncompromising willingness of social revolution established by young intellectuals and himself who showed only conscious conflict within the predestined yoke of the individual. In the play he changed his dramatic techniques which brought him closer to his readers and audiences but he emphasized intellectuals' awakening in much of his work. In other way, Kim Woo-jin developed a new contemporary drama movement in Korea for the nation which might have expressed real life under Japanese colonial rule. Kim Woo-jin was the representative of Korean drama in the 1920's who lived as a poet and critic as well as a experimental playwriter. Kim Woo-jin was one of the most excellent dramatists and the forerunner of Korean modern literature who led the new theatre movement, developed Korean drama from the early literature stages of the 1920's, and established himself as a leader in Korea literature.

        朝鮮後期 小品文과 養生

        This study researches the relationship between short writings of Late Joseon and Regimen. The basis of this research is the following: Huh Kyun's Hanjeongrok, the precursor of short writings of late Joseon period, which is mainly about artistry and preservation of health. Won Kwengdo, who was a major influence on the short writings of late Joseon, as well as Park Jiwon, Lee Dukmoo, Nam Gongchul also had great interest in the preservation of health. Huh Kyun had suffered from diabetes, which is still an incurable disease. Lee Dukmoo was advised by a doctor to read the books on the preservation of health since he was frequently ill due to eye problems and intemperate surges. Park Jiwon suffered from depression, and Nam Gongchul was so ill that he had to ask doctor's advice on a daily basis. Their history of illness greatly influenced their taste in reading and lifestyle as well. Since short writings are largely related with daily life, it is reasonable for those who were frequently ill or who read many books on the preservation of health to write more on recuperation. For example, Huh Kyun wrote Lim-no-in-yang-saeng-seol(任老人養生說) and Byuk-gok-byun(辟穀辨). Park Jiwon wrote Kim-shin-seon-jeon(金神仙傳). Lee Dukmoo wrote Yi-mok-gu -shim-seo, which is about Moonsaeng, who made an effort to preserve his health and about Kim Honggi, who is the main character of Kim-shin-seon-jeon. Hanjeongrok, a book mainly about artistry and preservation of health, influenced writers of short pieces during Late Joseon. "Bo-yang-ji" from Lim-won-shib-yuk-ji(林園十六志), is a very important literature on the relationship between short writings of Late Joseon and preservation of health. Lee Dukmoo wrote comments on each chapter of Poong-sok-go-hyub-jib(楓石鼓篋集), written by Seo Yoogu, who wrote the preface for Lee Dukmoo's Cheong-ryung-guk-ji(蜻蛉國志). Not only Lee Dukmoo and Seo Yoogu were friends, but also the contents of Lim-won-shib-yuk-ji which are inseparable from Yowha, Daewha, and Gansan like Byung-sa and Myung-san-gi. "Su-chin-yang-ro" chapter of "Bo-yang-ji" is aware of Su-chin-yang-ro-seo, which is closely related to nature excursion. This study researches the relationship between short writing and preservation of health, focusing on the influence short writing made on Late Joseon writers and their works. In addition to finding the relationship, this research also aims to find out that these grafted flowers, aesthetic trees and nature excursions are not mere tastes but a style of recuperation by showing examples of Kim Yiman and Shin Jeongha, both active 50 years ahead of Park Jiwon. Byung-sa and Myung-san-gi provided momentum to get excited over Won Kwengdo's literature. The meaning of this study is to provide clues to expand the study area of short writings of Late Joseon back to late 17th century writers such as Kim Yiman and Shin Jeongha by showing connections like Byung-sa and Myung-san-gi. More research is needed in this area. 본 연구는 朝鮮後期 小品文과 養生의 관계를 살피는 것을 목표로 한 것이다. 조선후기 소품문의 선편을 잡은 허균이 편찬한 󰡔閑情錄󰡕의 전체적인 흐름은 결국 ‘雅趣’와 ‘養生’으로 귀착될 수 있고, 조선후기 소품문에 지대한 영향을 미친 袁宏道 뿐 아니라 조선후기의 대표적인 소품가인 박지원과 이덕무, 남공철 등도 ‘養生’에 많은 관심을 가지고 있었다는 것이 본 연구의 기본적인 전제이다. 허균은 지금도 난치병에 속하는 소갈증(=당뇨병)으로 고생을 하였고, 이덕무는 안질과 울화증을 포함한 잦은 병치레로 몸이 쇠약해져서 의원으로부터 養生書를 읽을 것을 권유받기도 하였다. 박지원은 우울증을 앓은 바 있고, 남공철은 병이 많아 날마다 의사에게 養生과 益壽의 약에 대해 물어야 할 정도였다. 이들의 病歷이 독서성향과 생활패턴에 상당한 영향을 미쳤음을 알 수 있는 것이다. 그리고 소품문은 그 무엇보다도 卽生活的인 문학이라 할 수 있으므로 잦은 병치레를 하였거나 양생관련 서적을 많이 읽은 문인들의 시문에 상대적으로 養生 관련 문구가 많을 것임은 불문가지일 것이다. 실제로 허균은 「任老人養生說」 「辟穀辨」을, 박지원은 「金神仙傳」을 지었으며, 이덕무의 『이목구심서』에는 養生에 힘쓴 閔生과 「김신선전」의 주인공인 김홍기에 대한 이야기가 실려 있다. 『한정록』은 물론 조선후기 소품문을 관류하고 있는 ‘雅趣’와 ‘養生’을 주된 내용으로 하고 있으면서 조선후기 소품가에게 지대한 영향을 미친 책으로 『甁史』와 『名山記』를 들 수 있다. 『林園十六志』의 일부인 「葆養志」 역시 朝鮮後期 小品文과 養生의 관계를 살핌에 있어 빠뜨릴 수 없는 중요한 문헌이다. 이덕무는 『임원십육지』를 저술한 서유구의 『楓石鼓篋集』의 각편에 評語를 썼고 서유구는 이덕무의 『蜻蛉國志』에 서문을 쓰기도 했다. 이덕무와 서유구가 개인적인 친분을 가지고 있었을 뿐 아니라, 『林園十六志』의 내용 그 자체도 『甁史』와 『名山記』처럼 澆花와 對花, 그리고 看山과 불가분의 관계에 있었다. 「葆養志」의 ‘壽親養老’라는 篇章은 『壽親養老書』를 의식한 것인데, 이 책은 山水遊覽과 밀접한 관련이 있기도 하다. 본 연구에서는 이들 문헌이 조선후기 소품가들에게 미친 영향 또는 이들 문헌에 대한 조선후기 소품가들의 인식을 중심으로 조선후기 소품문과 양생의 관계를 살펴보았다. 본 연구에서는 이와는 별도로 박지원등에 비해 반세기 이전에 활동했던 김이만과 신정하의 예를 통해, 『甁史』와 『名山記』가 袁宏道의 문학에 심취하는 경로가 되었으며, 接花와 藝木, 그리고 명산의 탐방이 단순한 기호가 아닌 일종의 養生法이었음을 밝히고자 하였다. 『甁史』와 『名山記』를 고리로 해서 조선후기 소품문의 연구영역을 김이만과 신정하처럼 17세기 후반의 문인으로 확대할 수 있게 된 것은 본 연구의 중요한 의미로 여겨지며, 이 부분은 후속연구를 통해 좀 더 심도 있게 살펴볼 필요가 있을 듯하다.

      • An Improved Speech Processing Strategy for Cochlear Implants Based on an Active Nonlinear Filterbank Model of the Biological Cochlea

        <P>The purpose of this study was to improve the speech processing strategy for cochlear implants (CIs) based on a nonlinear time-varying filter model of a biological cochlea. The level-dependent frequency response characteristic of the basilar membrane is known to produce robust formant representation and speech perception in noise. A dual resonance nonlinear (DRNL) model was adopted because it is simpler than other adaptive nonlinear models of the basilar membrane and can be readily incorporated into the CI speech processor. Spectral analysis showed that formant information is more saliently represented at the output of the proposed CI speech processor compared to the conventional strategy in noisy conditions. Acoustic simulation and hearing experiments showed that the DRNL-based nonlinear strategy improves speech performance in a speech-spectrum-shaped noise.</P>

        Resistive switching characteristic of Ce0.9Y0.1O2/ TiO2 bi‑layer structure by photochemical metal‑organic deposition

        Sneak current is one of the main bottlenecks for dense crossbar array resistive random access memory. This study reports highly non-linear resistive switching characteristic from Ce0.9Y0.1O2/ TiO2 bi-layer (1S/1R device) structure, fabricated by photochemical metal-organic deposition, as a solution for sneak current issue. Ce0.9Y0.1O2 material, possessing oxygen vacancies, was used as a potential barrier as well as oxygen reservoir which rectified the current of low resistance state without an electrical breakdown in 1S/1R device. TiO2 was adopted for resistive switching property, and TiO2 layer having mixed phase (anatase and brookite) showed typical diode switching behavior. The photochemical reaction of photochemical metal-organic deposition process and phase formation were monitored and established using by Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction, respectively. The 1S/1R device showed highly non-linear resistive switching characteristic, large on/ off ratio of above three orders of magnitude with low operating current.

        목적: Demonstrate a new instrument, technique or procedure 방법: In this video, we showed how to remove huge ovarian tumors in sinlgel port laparoscopic surgery by SW KIM`s method. SW KIM`s method is the technique to put a huge ovarian tumor into a specially designed extremely large endopouch (XXXL: 30x30㎠sized) using two conventional laparoscopic needle holders and one laparoscopic grasper and gravity by changing the patient`s position. After identifying the infundibulopelvic and uteroovarian ligaments salpingooophorectomy including huge ovarian tumor was performed by LigaSure. And then ovarian tumor was located in the pelvic cavity by changing the patient`s position into reverse-trendelenberg position and a XXXL endopouch was inserted and un-rolled inside the abdominal cavity. To insert a huge tumor into the XXXL endopouch, the endopouch was opened in triangular shape. Bilateral apex of baseline of trianglular opening of the endopouch was hold by two needle holders and then the upper apex was hold by a grasper. After holding three point of endopouch opeing, the patient`s position was changed into deep trendelenberg postion, then the tumor came into the endopouch by gravity. While changing the patient`s position, 2 needle holders and a graspers were moved into the pelvic cavity from the abdominal cavity. Aftere identifying the tumor inside the endopouch, tumors could be removed through the single port opening site or transvaginally in laparoscopic hysterectomy case without spillage of ovarian tumor. 결과: The advantage of SW KIM`s method is to remove ovarian tumor without spillage in a single port laparoscopic surgery by putting it into the large endoscopic bag despite narrow space. 결론: Using a specially designed 30×30 cm sized XXXL Endopouch and SW Kim`s technique, huge ovarian tumors could be removed without spillage in single port laparoscopic surgery.

        Literary Analysis of Isaiah 48:1–11

        본 연구는 이사야서 연구의 핵심이 되는 48장에 대한 문예적/신학적 분석이다. 특별히, 이사야 40?48장에 나타나는 이형적 구문(binominal word pair)인 “처음 일들”과 “새 일”이라는 히브리어 구문을 중심으로 이사야 48:1?11을 분석하고자 한다. “처음 일들”과 “새 일들”이라는 히브리어 구문에 대한 연구는 이 두 가지 사건의 성취 시점이나 각각 단어의 정체성에 초점을 맞추어 진행되어 왔다. 본 연구는 기존 연구의 한계를 지적하고 “처음 일들”과 “새 일들”이라는 히브리어 구문은 이사야 저자가 의도적으로 사용한 문학적 장치로써 창조주와 주권자로서 하나님의 능력을 강조하고자 하는 문예적/신학적 목적으로 사용되었음을 주장한다.

        Effects of Phenytoin and Diazepam on the Seizure Activity in the Cortical Dysplasia Animal Models

        Dysplasia-associated seizure disorders are markedly resistant to pharmacological intervention. Relatively little research has been conducted studying the effects of antiepileptic drugs(AEDs) on seizure activity in a rat model of dysplasia. We have used rats exposed to methylazoxymethanol acetate(MAM) in utero, an animal model featuring nodular heterotopia, to investigate the effects of AEDs in the dysplastic brain. Pilocarpine was used to induce acute seizure in MAM-exposed and age-matched vehicle-injucted control animals. Field potential recordings were used to monitor amplitude and numbers population spikes, and paired pulse inhibition in response to stimulation of commissural pathway. Two commonly used AEDs were tested: diazepam 5, 2.5mg/kg;phenytoin 40, 60mg/kg. Diazepam(DZP) and phenytoin(PHT) reduced the amplitude of population spike in control and MAM-exposed rats. However, the amplitude of population spike was nearly eliminated in control rats as compared to the MAM-exposed rats. Pharmaco-resistance was tested by measuring seizure latencies in awake rats after pilocarpine administration(320mg/kg, i.p.) with and without pretreatment with AEDs. Pre-treatment with PHT 60 mg prolonged seizure latency in control rats, but not in MAM-exposed animals. The main findings of this study are that acute seizures initiated in MAM-exposed rats are relatively resistant to standard AEDs assessed in vivo. These data suggest that animal model with cortical dysplasia can be used to screen the effects of potential AEDs.

        Reactive Oxygen Species Generated by 17β-estradiol Play a Role in the Up-regulation of GPX4 Protein in MCF-7 Breast Cancer Cells

        Purpose: Estrogen is known to act as both a growth factor and a survival factor for breast cancer. The responsible molecular mechanisms remain, however, to be fully elucidated. We hypothesize that the effect of estrogen relates to its ability to induce the cellular antioxidant defense enzymes. Methods: In the presence study, we examined the ability of 17β-estradiol (E2) to regulate the level of phospholipid hydroperoxide glutathione peroxidase (GPX4) protein, which is an anti-oxidative enzyme that can directly reduce both phospholipids and cholesterol-hydroperoxides located in the cell membranes and lipoproteins. Results: E2 elicited a dose- and time-dependent increase in the GPX4 expression in the MCF-7 breast cancer cells, and this up-regulation was blocked by the free radical scavenger N-acetylcysteine (NAC). Additionally, we confirmed that E2 triggered a rapid and transient increase in the intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels, and this E2-induced increase in the ROS levels was inhibited by pretreatment with NAC. Moreover, such ROS inducers as TGF-β, TNF-αand insulin induced an increase in the level of GPX4 protein. However, estrogen receptor (ER)αknockdown by transfection with ERα-siRNA did not significantly change the GPX4 protein level that was induced by E2. Furthermore, pre-incubation with the ER antagonist ICI 182,780 did not inhibit E2-mediated GPX4 induction. Conversely, pretreatment of cells with LY294002, a pharmacological inhibitor of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase inhibitor, suppressed the E2-augmented GPX4 expression. Conclusion: Collectively, our data show that E2 may partly provide a survival advantage through the regulation of cellular oxidative homeostasis in MCF-7 breast cancer cells.

        Differential Manifestation of Ocular Phenotypes in TALEN-mediated p19arf Knockout FVB/N and C57BL/6J mouse lines

        Background p19arf, primarily known as a tumor suppressor, has also been reported to play an essential role in normal development of mouse eyes. Consistently, lack of p19arf has been associated with ocular defects, but the mixed background of the knockout (KO) mouse strain used raised a concern on the accuracy of the phenotypes observed in association with the targeted gene due to genetic heterogeneity. Object We carried out a study to investigate into the efect of genetic background on the manifestation of p19arf KO associated phenotypes. Methods We characterized the phenotypes of novel p19arf KO mouse lines generated in FVB/N and C57BL/6J using a transcription activator-like efector nuclease (TALEN) system in comparison to the reported phenotypes of three other p19arf-defcient mouse lines generated using homologous recombination. Results Ninety-fve percent of FVB/N-p19arf KO mice showed ocular opacity from week 4 after birth which worsened rapidly until week 6, while such abnormality was absent in C57BL/6J-p19arf KO mice up to the age of 26 weeks. Histopathological analysis revealed retrolental masses and dysplasia in the retinal layer in FVB/N-p19arf KO mice from week 4. Besides these, both strains developed normally from birth to week 26 without increased tumorigenesis except for a subcutaneous tumor found in a C57BL/6J-p19arf KO mouse. Conclusion Our fndings demonstrated surprisingly variable manifestation of p19arf-linked phenotypes between FVB/N and C57BL/6J mice, and furthermore between our mouse lines and the established lines, indicating a critical impact of genetic background on functional study of genes using gene targeting strategies in mice.

        Magnetization Analysis for Outer Rotor Brushless DC Motors Using Polar Anisotropic Ferrite Ring Magnets

        Ferrite-bonded magnets have been extensively used in small brushless DC (BLDC) motors for low torque applications such as fans and pumps. In particular, some motors of them with ferrite-bonded magnets, frequently called as plastic magnets, do not have a rotor core in order to reduce manufacturing costs and inertia of the rotating part. Accordingly, the magnetization distribution of the bonded magnets has a polar anisotropic direction to secure more magnetic fux. As a result, the magnetization orientation of the magnets is highly signifcant to accurately predict the performances of the BLDC motors. This paper deals with the magnetization analysis of the polar anisotropic ferrite ring magnet applied to an outer rotor type BLDC motor. The motor is employed for an electric water pump, and its rotor including the impeller consists of only the ferrite-bonded magnet material and made by injection molding. Consequently, a magnetizing fxture and an impulse magnetizer are not used for the magnetization of the outer rotor type motor. Instead, samarium–cobalt (SmCo) magnets having a relatively high curie temperature are applied for generating magnetic feld. Finally, this paper presents a process to determine the anisotropic orientations of a ferrite ring magnet by fnite element method. In addition, the validity of the analysis method is verifed by test results
