가막사리(Bidens tripartita L.)와 미국가막사리(Bidens frondosa L.) 종자의 발아에 미치는 몇가지 요인

The experiments were conducted to determine the factors such as light and darkness, phytohormone and seed coat, influencing on seed germination of Bidens tripartita L. and B. frondosa. The seeds of both species were germinated when seed coat was damaged and weakened GA3 and BA stimulated germination of both species but ABA and IAA had no effect on germination of them, which ranged 50.0% to 80.0%. In B. forndosa, when inner layer of seed coat was removed, germination was highly promoted up to 96.7% compared with 10.0% germination rate in another treatments.

신체화장애 환자의 스트레스 대처방식 및 심리적 특성

Objectives : The purpose of this study was to investigate the stress coping strategies and psychological charactehstics, such as combined psychopathology and tendency of symptom interpretation, in patients with somatization disorder. Methods : Thirty patients meeting the criteria of DSM-IV somatization disorder were compared with thirty controls. We evaluated the subjects using Symptom Checklist-90-Revised (SCL-90-R), Somato-Sensory Amplification Scale (SSAS), Symptom Interpretation Questionnaire (SIQ), and The Ways of Stress Coping Questionnaire (SCQ). Independent t-test and Pearson correlation analysis were used. Results : From the results of SCL-90-R subscales, the scores of somatization, obsession-compulsion, depression, anxiety, and psychoticism were significantly higher in patients with somatization disorder than nonnal controls. Somatization disorder patients had greater amplification of physical sensation in SSAS and significantly higher score in physical interpretation of SIQ compared with psychological or environmental interpretation, In the SCQ of somatization disorder patients, we observed generallylower levels of total coping scores than the control group and significant positive correlation between passive coping style of SCQ and psychological interpretation of SIQ. Conclusion : These results show that patients with somatization disorder have various psychopathology, greater amplification of physical sensation, physical interpretation tendency of symptoms, and insufficient copying strategy.

The roles of glycosphingolipids in the proliferation and neural differentiation of mouse embryonic stem cells

Glycosphingolipids including gangliosides play important regulatory roles in cell proliferation and differentiation. UDP-glucose:ceramide glucosyltransferase (Ugcg) catalyze the initial step in glycosphingolipids biosynthesis pathway. In this study, Ugcg expression was reduced to approximately 80% by short hairpin RNAs (shRNAs) to evaluate the roles of glycosphingolipids in proliferation and neural differentiation of mouse embryonic stem cells (mESCs). HPTLC/immunofluorescence analyses of shRNAtransfected mESCs revealed that treatment with Ugcg-shRNA decreased expression of major gangliosides, GM3 and GD3. Furthermore, MTT and Western blot/immunofluorescence analyses demonstrated that inhibition of the Ugcg expression in mESCs resulted in decrease of cell proliferation (P < 0.05) and decrease of activation of the ERK1/2 (P < 0.05), respectively. To further investigate the role of glycosphingolipids in neural differentiation, the embryoid bodies formed from Ugcg-shRNA transfected mESCs were differentiated into neural cells by treatment with retinoic acid. We found that inhibition of Ugcg expression did not affect embryoid body (EB) differentiation, as judged by morphological comparison and expression of early neural precursor cell marker, nestin, in differentiated EBs. However, RT-PCR/immunofluorescence analyses showed that expression of microtubule- associated protein 2 (MAP-2) for neurons and glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) for glial cells was decreased in neural cells differentiated from the shRNA-transfected mESCs. These results suggest that glycosphingolipids are involved in the proliferation of mESCs through ERK1/2 activation, and that glycosphingolipids play roles in differentiation of neural precursor cells derived from mESCs.

Effectiveness of marker-assisted backcrossing breeding for biotic resistance in rice

The transfer of a biotic resistance gene from indica rice cultivars into japonica cultivars by conventional breeding methods often difficult due to high sterility of the progenies, poor plant type, and linkage drag. Molecular markers provide opportunities to map resistance genes and accelerate the application of marker-assisted backcross(MAB) breeding through the precise transfer of target genomic regions into the recurrent parent. The basis of MAB breeding is to transfer a specific gene/allele of the donor parent into the recurrent parent genome while selecting against donor introgressions across the rest of the genome. The effectiveness of MAB breeding depends on the availability of closely linked DNA markers for the target locus, the size of the population, the number of backcrosses and the position and number of markers for background selection. We have successfully developed Bph18 version of the commercially cultivated japonica elite cultivar by using MAB and incorporating the resistance gene Bph18 that conferred enhanced resistance to BPH. MAB breeding provides a new opportunity for the selective transfer of biotic resistance genes into elite indica rice cultivars devoid of linkage drag. In additon, molecular markers precisely estimate the introgression of chromosome segments from donor parents and can speed up the recipient genome recovery via background selection.

한반도평화지대 건설을 위한 생명공동체 방안: 북한의 관점을 중심으로

본 논문은 한반도평화지대 건설을 위한 방안을 찾기 위해 북한은 평화협정과 비핵화를 어떻게 보고 있는지, 그리고 북한의 관점에서 한반도평화지대를 위한 조건은 무엇인지 살펴보았다. 왜냐하면 북한의 의도를 정확히 알아야 우리는 이에 적절하게 대응할 수 있기 때문이다. 다음으로 한반도평화지대 건설을 위해 북한의 까다로운 조건을 완화하기 위한 유도 방안을 고민해 보았다. 한반도평화지대 건설을 위해서는 종전선언과 평화협정의 추진이 우선적으로 이루어져야 한다. 그런데 한반도 평화의 키를 쥐고 있는 미국이 종전선언에 대해서 조차 부정적이기 때문에 한걸음도 나아갈 수 없다. 그렇다고 한반도의 평화를 포기할 수 없기에 남북한이 주체적으로 이 문제를 풀어가야 한다. 그 방안으로 필자는 한반도평화지대 건설을 위한 북한의 조건을 완화시킬 수 있는 생명공동체를 건설하는 방안을 구상해 보았다. In order to find a way to build a Peace Zone on the Korean Peninsula, this paper first examined how North Korea sees Peace Agreements and Denuclearization. And from the perspective of North Korea, I looked at the conditions for a Peace Zone on the Korean Peninsula. This is because we need to know exactly North Korea’s intentions so that we can respond appropriately. Next, for the construction of a Peace Zone on the Korean Peninsula, I studied the ways to induce North Korea to alleviate its tricky conditions. In order to build a Peace Zone on the Korean Peninsula, the Declaration of the end of the war and the promotion of a Peace Agreement must be prioritized. However, the United States, which holds the key to peace on the Korean Peninsula, cannot take a step forward because it is even negative about the Declaration of the end of the war. However, the two Koreas must solve this problem independently because they cannot give up peace on the Korean Peninsula. As a measure, I devised a plan to build a Life Community that can alleviate North Korea’s conditions for the construction of a Peace Zone on the Korean Peninsula.

통일교육의 새로운 미국관 정립을 위한 기초연구

본 논문은 통일교육의 새로운 미국관 정립을 위한 기초연구로 미국의 자국중심적 대한반도 정책이 통일교육에 주는 시사점을 연구해 보았다. 그 결과, 물론 미국은 미래의 통일한국이 미국 영향력 하의 친미적인 국가가 된다면 통일은 반대하지 않을 것이지만 현재, 미국은 떠오르는 중국견제에 몰두하느라 한반도의 평화와 통일에는 관심을 가질 의지가 없다는 것을 우리는 알 수 있다. 따라서 미국의 국가이익과 한국의 국가이익이 엄연하게 다른 현실에서, 아직도 미국의 주장과 압박에 무조건 따라야 하는지 이제는 정말 깊이 생각해 볼 시점이 되었다. 그러므로 통일교육의 내용에 있어서도 우리의 주체적 노력을 담는 내용이 반드시 들어가야 한다고 생각한다. 힘이 없다고 또는 미국이 좋다고 미국의 국가이익을 추구하는 전략에 무조건 추종해서는 남북화해는 물 건너가고 통일은 멀어질 수밖에 없다는 내용이 통일교육에 새롭게 담기기를 희망한다.다시 말하면 어떻게 해서든 남북관계를 풀어서 평화로운 분위기를 한반도에서 형성하고 이를 바탕으로 이곳에서 평화공동체를 주체적으로 만들어 가는 노력을 해야 함을 통일교육 내용에 반드시 다루었으면 하는 것이다. 다만 불필요한 논란을 줄이기 위해 새로운 통일교육의 미국관은 이념적 편향이 아닌 사실에 근거한 팩트를 중심으로 구성되어야 할 것이다. This paper is a basic study to establish a new perspective on the United States. I studied the implications of the U.S. policy on the Korean Peninsula for unification education. Of course, the United States will not oppose unification if a unified Korea in the future becomes a pro-American country under the influence of the United States. However, at present, we can see that the United States has no will to pay attention to peace and reunification on the Korean Peninsula as it is preoccupied with containing the rising China. The Korea’s national interests and the U.S. national interests are sure to be completely different. So it’s time for us to think deeply on whether we should unconditionally comply with the U.S. demands and pressures. Therefore, I argue that the contents of our subjective efforts must be included in the unification education policy. I do not think we should unconditionally follow the States’ strategy that pursue its national interests because we have comparatively little power or because the United States is an ally. If we do so, inter-Korean reconciliation would be getting difficult, and unification inevitably be far away. This is one that the new unification education policy includes. In other words, we should dissolve the inter-Korean relations and create a peaceful atmosphere on the Korean Peninsula. Based on this, we are obliged to create a peace community here. These contents must be included in unification education. However, in order to reduce unnecessary controversy, the new perspective on America in the unification education should be based on facts, not ideological biases.

문화적 관점에서 본 북한체제 지속요인 연구

본 연구는 김일성 사망이후 끊임없이 제기된 북한붕괴론에 반하여 문화적 관점에서 북한 체제지속요인에 대해 탐구하였다. 즉 “왜 북한 체제가 붕괴되지 않는지?”에 대한 다양한 문화적 접근을 통해 분석하였다. 지금까지 논의된 북한 붕괴론을 유발하였던 다양한 내외적 환경이 있었지만 김정은 정권은 여전히 존재하고 있다. 이 자체가 바로 북한 붕괴론의 한계를 보여 준다고 할 수있을 것이다. 본 연구는 북한체제를 유지시키는 다양한 문화적 요인을 연구하였다. 연구 결과 경제적 어려움에도 불구하고 북한 체제를 떠받치는 문화적 요인이 도사리고 있어서 체제붕괴 가능성은 낮은 것으로 보인다. 북한 체제를 떠받드는 문화적 요인으로는 유교문화의 영향, 정신문화의 영향, 민족주의의 강조, 주체사상의 강조, 통제로 인한 시민사회의 미형성, 감성통제, 그리고 북한자체가 하나의 거대한 종교국가라는 것을 제시하였 다. This paper has attempted to study against the collapse of North Korea since the death of Kim Il Sung. I concentrate on the reason why the North Korea has not collapsed through a variety of cultural approaches. Up to present, there are so many opinions and internal and external environments about the North Korea-collapse-theory, but the Kim Jong-un s regime is still existed. This shows the limits of the North Korea-collapse-theory. This study investigates various cultural factors that maintain the North Korean regime. In this study, I insist that cultural factors keep the North Korea regime as followings; the influence of Confucianism, the influence of mental culture, the emphasis on nationalism and the Juche idea, the absence of civil society, the emotional control, and a giant religious state.

베트남 해조류 소비시장의 특성에 관한 연구

The purpose of this paper is to suggest an export strategy of seaweed products from Korea to Vietnam by analyzing the seaweed products consumption in Vietnam. This research surveyed 217 people in Hanoi and Ho chi minh, Vietnam. The result of the research revealed that consumers in Vietnam perceived seasoned kim as a healthy and easy-to-eat Korean food with snacks and side dishes, and it was recognized as a nutritious snack especially suitable for children to 20s. Kimbap is recognized as simple and healthy Korean food that is consumed as a substitute for meals at home, on the streets, and at restaurants. Sea mustard was the healthiest among seaweeds and are consumed in the form of sea mustard soup as good food for women, children, and the elderly. Summarizing the Vietnam seaweed market, it is a market that is similar to Korean seaweed consumer culture. In conclusion, we suggested a seaweed promotion strategy targeting women in their teens to twenties, communication on seaweed production process, experiential marketing strategy and seaweed food culture strategy.

통일한국의 정치체제 연구

본 연구에서는 통일한국의 특성을 반영한 입법, 사법, 행정부의 큰 그림을 그려보았다. 입 법부는 양원제와 합의적 민주주의를 상정해 보았고, 다당제와 다양한 선거제도를 제안하였다. 사법부의 경우 사법권의 독립과 사법 민주주의를 강조하였고, 민족화합조정위원회 설치를 제 안하여 남북의 갈등을 극복해나갈 수 있도록 하였다. 행정부는 강력한 대통령제를 채택하고, 이를 보완할 수 있는 부통령제를 신설할 것을 제안하였다. 또한 민주적 관료제도의 확립과 행정인력의 조정에 대해 다루었다. In this study, I sketch the approximate model of the legislature, judiciary, administration that reflects the characteristics of the unified Korea. I propose a bicameral legislature, multi-party system and a variety of electoral systems as the legislature institution. I emphasize the independence of the judiciary, judiciary-democracy, and I propose the Coordination Committee to overcome the North-South conflict as well. I suggest the United Korea adopt the strong presidential system, and the vice-president system that complements this strong presidential system. In addition, I study the establishment of a democratic bureaucracy and control of the human resources of executive.

김일성 저작집을 통해 본 북한의 기독교 인식과 대응논리 연구

북한지역의 경우 직접적인 선교는 꿈꾸기 힘든 것이 사실이다. 그러나 이 땅에 내려온 북한이탈주민들을 위한 선교는 상황이 훨씬 좋다. 오늘날 북한이탈주민들에 대한 관심과 선교는 당면과제라 할 수 있다. 그런데 남한에 온 북한이탈주민들은 북한에 있을 때 다양한 경로로 기독교에 대한 부정적 인식을 교육받았다. 그러므로 김일성 교시의 핵심인 김일성 저작집에 나타나는 기독교에 대한 인식은 아직까지도 북한주민들의 기독교에 대한 인식에 가장 중요한 영향을 미친다고 볼 수 있다. 이런 문제의식 하에서 본 연구는 김일성 저작집에서 김일성의 기독교에 대한 인식과 기독교인에 대한 인식 부분만 따로 발췌하여 분석하여 보았다. 왜냐하면 북한에서 김일성의 말은 거역할 수 없는 절대적 훈령이기 때문이다. 연구결과 김일성은 무신론자이며 전쟁 때 잔혹하였던 미국과 기독교를 동일시하였고, 기독교인은 제국주의의 앞잡이, 숭미주의자로 인식하였다. 이 연구는 탈북자들을 만났을 때 그들이 가지고 있는 기독교에 대한 편견을 어떻게 버리게 할지 대응논리를 찾아보았다. 이 연구는 장차 남북교류가 다시 활성화되어 남한의 기독인들이 북한 주민을 접할 때 그들에게 기독교에 대한 올바른 인식을 심어 줄 수 있는 기초자료로서의 의미도 가진다고 할 수 있을 것이다. In North Korea, it is hard for one to even dream of direct missionary work. But the situation for missionary work is much better for the North Korean defectors who have come down to the South Korea. These days, attention and mission to North Korean defectors can be one of the challenges we have faced. However, North Korean defectors who came to the South Korea were educated with the negative perceptions of Christianity through various channels and ways when they were in the North Korea. Therefore, the perceptions of Christianity that appears in the Kim Il Sung Collection, which are the core of Kim Il Sung’s teachings, still have the most important influence on the perceptions of Christianity among North Koreans. Under this awareness of the problem, this study analyzed Kim Il Sung’s perception of Christianity and his perception of Christians separately from his writings. Because Kim Il-sung’s words are absolute commands that can not be disobeyed in the North Korea. As a results of this study, Kim Il Sung was an atheist. And he identified Christianity with the United States, which was brutal during the Korean War. Kim Il Sung recognized Christian as the frontman of imperialism and the worshiper of America. This study considered how North Korean defectors should throw away their prejudices against Christianity. This study can be said to mean that inter-Korean exchanges will be revitalized in the future, giving North Koreans the right data and perceptions of Christianity when we encounter them.
