Comparative Genomic Hybridization 기법을 이용한 한국인 원발성 간세포암에서의 염색체 변화에 대한 연구

Comparative genomic hybridization(CGH) technique is one of the screening tests for DNA sequence copy number changes(losses, deletions, gains, amplifications) in tumor genomes. DNA changes in 23 hepatocellular carcinomas(HCC) associated with hepatitis B virus(HBV) were analyzed by CGH technique. Eighteen of the 23 cases showed genetic alterations. The remaining 5 cases showed no detectagble aberration. The losses of chromosome regions 17p(74%), 4q (57%), 16p (52%), 16q (48%), 8p (43%) and 13q (43%) were detected in the order of decreasing frequency. In cases of multiple losses of chromosomes, a combination of 17p,16p,16q,4q, and 8p losses was found in 5 cases (30%). On the other hand, chromosomal gains occurred on 1q (65%), 8q (52%), 20p (48%) and 20q (43%) in the order of decreasing frequency. And the simultaneous genomic gains of these 4 chromosomes were found in 9 cases (40%). Moreover, the combination of 5 genomic losses (17p, 16p, 16q, 4q, & 8p) and 4 genomic gains (1q, 8q, 20p, & 20q) was observed in 4 case s(23%). The pattern of chromosomal gains and losses in HCC with hepatitis B in Korean patients is very complex and involves virtually every site in the genome. This indicated a high genomic instability. This could possibly be explained either as the result of random chromosomal changes during early development of tumor, or as the highly variable and random pattern of integration of HBV in the HCC. The hepatocarcinogenesis may be the result of cumulative effocts rather than those orders of occurrence of those genomic changes. The sites of cellular DNA at which HBV integrates frequently undergo rearrangements, resulting in translocations, inverted duplications, deletions, and possibly recombinational events. But, CGH only detects changes of chromosomal copy number but could not identify translocations, inversions, and other aberrations of chromosome. The chromosomal analysis of HCC with HBV in Korean patients by CGH technique confirms the presence of complex and sporadic, but nonrandom genetic changes in the chromosome. In the future, more detailed oncogenic study could be carried out on the chromosomes which showed abnormal aberrations through this study.

Acute aortic occlusion is rare but poses a high mortality and morbidity. Prompt diagnosis and treatment is essential. Typical presentation is rest pain with bilateral absent femoral pulse. When the non-typical symptoms predominate such as paraplegia, acute abdomen or sudden-onset hypertension, diagnosis may be difficult. We experienced a case of acute aortic thrombosis who suddenly developed paraplegia and rapidly deteriorated within several hours. When the paraplegia developed, he was under treatment with heparin and urokinase, was thrombocytopenic, and the femoral arteries were pulsatile. Spinal cord compression due to bleeding complication had to be ruled out. Duplex sonography and lumbar CT scan were not diagnostic. Aortic thrombosis was diagnosed by abdominal CT scan. This case illustrates the need for high suspicion of acute aortic occlusion presenting with paraplegia especially in patients with associated atherosclerotic disease.

Effect of processing agents on physical properties of leather has been studied. It is tried to make the wet blue leather for upper more favorable for environment in the wet blue leather process by the use of low chrome and vegetable tanning agent. Surface treatment agents such as urethane binder is used in the finished leather process. The finished leather for upper is endowed with high hygiene in the finishing process by the use of antibacterial and deodorization agents. It is proved that the upper leather manufactured through these steps has the more improved physical properties. Also, The insole is endowed with high hygiene by the use of antibacterial agents. Leather and insole with these treatments are satisfied with the Korean Industrial Standard.

This study is on the whole process of manufacturing functional shoe lining leather from Kip raw skin, which is classified and investigated into raw skin, pelt, wet blue leather, crust leather, and finished leather. Especially it is tried to make the wet blue leather for lining more favorable for environment in the wet blue leather process by the use of vegetable tanning agent. It is proved that the lining leather manufactured through these steps has the more improved physical properties of the finished leather than those through other treatments. Twitter is one of the most popular social media outlets available and has been expanding over the years in both scope and reach. The growing number of users, and the accessibility to their micro-posts and metadata make Twitter a popular subject for research in various research communities. In this paper, we propose and examine a content analysis method that utilizes the hierarchy of effects model, which has a very long history of use by both practitioners and academics in the field of advertising and marketing. We have judges manually annotate tweets in accordance with one of the five stages of attitudes: Attention, Interest, Desire, Action, or Satisfaction. Next, we examine the tagged corpus to identify general traits and to explore the possibilities for the newly gained information from the tweets. The results suggest that consumer attitude information can be utilized to improve the prediction quality of box-office revenues and possibly better represent movie audience sentiment. These findings can complement other content analysis methods that utilizes Twitter data by providing an additional dimension for the researchers to consider.
붐식 스피드 스프레이어 개발을 위한 기초연구 (Ⅰ) - 붐식 스피드 스프레이어 개발을 위한 현황 조사 -

방제 작업은 병해충을 줄여 농산물의 품질과 생산량을 높이기 위한 필수 작업이다. 하지만 방제 작업은 고온 · 다습한 환경에서 작업하여 고된 작업 강도와 농민의 농약 중독 문제, 고령화 · 여성화로 인한 농가 일손 부족 문제로 농촌에서는 기피하고 있는 작업 중 하나이다. 이러한 점을 보완하기 위해 동력 살포기와 같은 기계를 이용하여 살포 작업을 실시하고 있으며, 스피드 스프레이어의 경우 2015년 기준 2,073대가 농가에 공급되어졌다. 스피드 스프레이어를 사용하는 농가는 점차 증가하고 있으나, 현재 스피드스프레이어의 살포 방식의 경우 농약을 다량 살포함으로써, 농약의 낭비, 환경오염의 문제점이 나타나고 있다. 이러한 점을 보완하기 위해 최근에는 방제 작업의 방식이 붐을 이용한 방제 작업으로 바뀌어가고 있는 추세이다. 붐 방제기의 경우 붐에 노즐을 배치하여 작물에 근접한 위치에서 농약을 정밀 살포하며, 스피드 스프레이어와 다르게 농약의 낭비를 줄일 수 있으며, 농약의 살포량을 제어하기 쉬운 장점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 트랙터 부착형 붐 방제기가 아닌 스피드 스프레이어를 개선한 붐식 스피드 스프레이어를 개발하기 위하여 현재 사용되고 있는 붐 방제기의 연구 동향 및 제품을 소개하고 개발에 필요한 기초 자료로 활용하고자 한다. 기존의 붐 방제기는 트랙터에 부착하는 형태로 개발되어졌으며 트랙터의 부착위치에 따라 전륜, 후륜형으로 나뉘고, 작물의 크기에 따라서 붐의 높이 및 붐의 각도를 조절하는 구조로 제작하여 사용되고 있다.
