Background: The beneficial effects of ginsenoside species have been well demonstrated in a number of studies. However, the function of ginsenoside Ro (GRo), an oleanane-type saponin, has not been sufficiently investigated. Thus, the aim of the present study was to investigate the anti-inflammatory effects of GRo in vitro using the Raw 264.7 mouse macrophage cell line treated with lipopolysaccharide (LPS), and to clarify the possible mechanism of GRo involving heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1), which itself plays a critical role in self-defense in the presence of inflammatory stress. Methods: Raw 264.7 cells were pretreated with GRo (up to $200{\mu}M$) for 1 h before treatment with 1 mg/mL LPS, and both cell viability and inflammatory markers involving HO-1 were evaluated. Results: GRo significantly increased cell viability in a dose dependent manner following treatment with LPS, and decreased levels of reactive oxygen species and nitric oxide. GRo decreased inflammatory cytokines such as nitric oxide synthase and cyclooxygenase-2 induced by LPS. Moreover, GRo increased the expression of HO-1 in a dose dependent manner. Cotreatment of GRo with tin protoporphyrin IX, a selective inhibitor of HO-1, not only inhibited upregulation of HO-1 induced by GRo, but also reversed the anti-inflammatory effect of GRo in LPS treated Raw 264.7 cells. Conclusion: GRo induces anti-inflammatory effects following treatment with LPS via upregulation of HO-1.

노인운동이 혈중 신경전달물질과 측두엽 혈류 변화에 미치는 영향

The Purpose of this experiment was to identify the effect of dancesports in postponing the loss of brain blood flow in the men people. So the Neurotransmitter(Dopamine) was analyzed in the blood for 12 weeks, divided into 4 terms. By selecting one male subject, the SPECT was used to take picture of their brain. the results are as following. Dancesports didn't cause detectable change in the Dopamine of men. When the integrating the results, it was possible to notice the Dopamine in men didn't show significant change until the 4th term. We consider that the short term exercises didn't affect the change of Dopamine. However, after adapting to the long term exercises, it seemed to be partial effective. So the increase of maintaince of Dopamine, which is the cause of vessel expansion, is thought to increase the brain blood and effective in preventing brain vein disease. The samples used for this work were low grade clay(Fe?O? : 2.90%, TiO? :1.65%) produced from Youngsan-do district, and for the iron-bearing impurities removal having a bad influence on Kaoline sample was carried out column floatation using Oleic acid, Potassium oleat, Aero 840 promotor, Aero 870 promotor and Keroseneas collectors. For removal of the iron-vearing impurities from the kaoline, investigated first chemical composition size distribution of Kaoline sample, also performanced a basic study on pulp density, collector and pH change on a sort frother. The flotation separation of impurities from kaoline can be achieved by using both oleic acid and Aero 840 promotor as collectors within narrow aoid limits(pH 2-3). Pine oil was more effective frother than MIBC with olelic acid as aa collector.

The purpose of this study was to how the strength exercise program affected the lumbar functional improvement of lumbar pain patients. Subjects were consisted of 30~40 years old male and female with lumbar pain that have trained in 8 weeks, 2 times a week, 60 minutes per session. The lumbar strengths were measured by flexion and extension of MedX lumbar extension machine. The results were as results; The significant improvement was founded on the angle from 0 to 72 in lumbar strength after 8 weeks training in all group. Especially, angle of 24, 48, 60 have improved in the female group compared to pre-exercise (p<.001). And angle of all have improved in the male group compared to pre-exercise (p<.01). The results suggested that the strength exercise program has a positive effect on improvement of lumbar strength, and further study need to like to degenerative diseases of different back type for more effects. Image compression techniques have been necessary to transfer and save a great amount of image data in an efficient way. Because the compression and decompression of image signal require the real time processing, various hardware implementation methods have been studied. In this paper we propose the algorithm which is parallel form of processing 2 dimensional 8*8 blocks simultaneously, so increase speeds. It outputs compressed bit sequences 8 clocks later for the input data synchronized to clocks. Proposed algorithm is designed using VHDL. Simulation and circuit synthesis has been performed by the Powerview CAD Tool on the SUN Sparc-10 workstation. Results shows that maximum operating frequency is up to 15㎒. The final schematic circuit and comparison of processing speed are shown.
