Maslow욕구 단계에 따른 속옷 추구혜택과 소비행동에 대한 질적 연구

The purpose of this research was to examine the influence of basic needs on benefit segmentation and consumption behavior of underwear market. Maslow’s hierarchy of needs was the theoretical grounding of this study. For empirical investigation focus group interviews were conducted. A total of 12 women participated. Analysis of the qualitative data indicated that underwear consumption behavior was originated from basic need stages, also it is evidenced that the basic needs stage operated simultaneously, not progressively. There was a correlation between basic needs and benefits sought. At the same time various mediators had effect on underwear consumption behavior, and the mediators brought about several different consumption behaviors. It showed that a specific benefit sought was formed by each consumer’s psychological background, not by only single basic need.

본 연구는 노인의 지혜, 자아통합감, 생성감의 관계를 구조적으로 파악하여, 노인이 지혜를 획득하는 경로를 탐색하는 동시에 연구변인들에 대한 배우자관계 및 자녀관계의 영향을 통합적으로 살펴보는데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 부산광역시 및 경남지역의 노인복지관과 종교시설 이용자 중 배우자와 자녀가 있는 60세 이상의 노인 350명이다. 연구결과는 노인의 생성감이 자아통합감에, 자아통합감이 지혜에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 노인의 배우자관계와 자녀관계는 생성감에 직접적인 영향을 미쳤다. 노인의 배우자관계와 자녀관계는 지혜에 간접적인 영향을 미쳤고, 자녀관계는 생성감과 자아통합감을 매개로 하여 지혜에 간접적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 노인의 배우자관계는 자아통합감에 간접적으로 영향을 미쳤지만, 자녀관계는 생성감을 매개로 하여 자아통합감에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과는 노년기 지혜의 발달에 도움이 되는 직간접적인 영향요인들에 대한 정보를 제공하는 것이며, 이를 바탕으로 노인의 만족스럽고 평안한 삶에 대한 실천적 함의가 논의되었다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of relationships with a spouse and children, a generativity, and an ego-integrity on wisdom of the Korean elderly. The subjects were 350 elderly people of over 60 years of age in Busan and Gyeongnam area. The main results were as follows: First, the generativity had a direct effect on the ego-integrity and the ego-integrity had an effect on wisdom directly. Also, the spouse relationship had an effect on the generativity directly and the relationship with children affected on both the generativity and the ego-integrity directly. Second, the relationships with both spouse and children had an effect on wisdom indirectly through the generativity and the ego-integrity. Also, the spouse relationship had indirect influence on the ego-integrity indirectly through the generativity. In addition, the relationship with children had an effect on the ego-integrity indirectly through the generatvity. The results provided with information of direct and indirect influential factors to be of help to wisdom development and the implications about satisfying and comfortable life of elderly were discussed.
Benzo(a)pyrene represses melanogenesis in B16F10 mouse melanoma cells

Benzo(a)pyrene (BaP) is a chemically based polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) that is readily absorbed by the skin. BaP is metabolized to BaP-diolepoxide by cytochromes P-450 1A1/2 (CYP1A1/2) and cytochromes P-450 1B1 (CYP1B1) in the cytosol. BaP and its metabolites induce genotoxicity and cancer. Although BaP easily accumulates in melanin-containing tissues as well as other tissue types, the effects of BaP on melanocytes are not fully understood. Here, we show that 40-100 μM BaP represses melanin synthesis in B16F10 cells. The decrease of melanin contents is induced by tyrosinase activity in BaP-exposed B16F10. However, this repression of melanin synthesis is not induced by direct inhibition of tyrosinase in in vitro assay. Therefore, we show whether BaP regulated melanin synthesis-related enzyme. BaP regulates melanin synthesis by Tyr and Tyrp1 expression. In addition, these genes expression is down-regulated by Mitf repressed by BaP. Importantly, the repression was provoked in the absence and presence of α-melanocyte stimulating hormone (α-MSH). Therefore, we hypothesize BaP interrupts the UV protection mechanism by repressing melanin synthesis in the skin. Taken together our results have revealed new side effects that exposure of BaP abolished melanin synthesis in melanocytes.
Intracutaneous Delivery of Gelatins Reduces Fat Accumulation in Subcutaneous Adipose Tissue

Subcutaneous adipose tissue (SAT) accumulation is a constitutional disorder resulting from metabolic syndrome. Although surgical and non-surgical methods for reducing SAT exist, patients remain non-compliant because of potential adverse effects and cost. In this study, we developed a new minimally-invasive approach to achieve SAT reduction, using a microneedle (MN) patch prepared from gelatin, which is capable of regulating fat metabolism. Four gelatin types were used: three derived from fish (SA-FG, GT-FG 220, and GT-FG 250), and one from swine (SM-PG 280). We applied gelatin-based MN patches five times over 4 weeks to rats with high-fat diet (HD)-induced obesity, and determined the resulting amount of SAT. We also investigated the histological features and determined the expression levels of fat metabolism-associated genes in SAT using hematoxylin and eosin staining and western blotting, respectively. SAT decreased following treatment with all four gelatin MN patches. Smaller adipocytes were observed in the regions treated with SA-FG, GT-FG 250, and SM-PG 280 MNs, demonstrating a decline in fat accumulation. The expression levels of fat metabolism-associated genes in the MN-treated SAT revealed that GT-FG 220 regulates fatty acid synthase (FASN) protein levels. These findings suggest that gelatin MN patches aid in decreasing the quantity of unwanted SAT by altering lipid metabolism and fat deposition.
