Dislocation of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) is troublesome condition which was most commonly shown far anteriorly displaced mandibular condyle to the articular eminence, thereby make it impossible to close one’s mouth. It is often referred to as ‘open lock’ in clinically. Although anatomical modification of the articular eminence through eminectomy has been considered most satisfactory and efffective treatment for managing the recurrent dislocation, it seldom performs clinically due to its invasiveness and patient’s reluctance. We thought a shortterm intermaxillary fixation could be of benefit to the patient suffering from recurrent dislocation. A 21-year-old male patient with recurrent TMJ dislocation which had developed after excessive mouth opening, was successfully treated with intermaxillay fixation using microimplant for 2 months. It is more conservative and less complicated method than eminectomy in treating recurrent TMJ dislocation. Transient intermaxillary fixation using microimplant and elastics could be one of treatment options for recurrent TMJ dislocation.

This paper deals with the production plan for the foaming process, the core part of the refrigerator manufacturing process. In accordance with this change, the refrigerator manufacturing process has also been converted into the mixed-model production system and it is necessary to optimize the production release pattern for the foaming process. The pattern optimization is to create a mixed-model combination which can minimize the number of setup operations and maintain mixed-model production. The existing method is a simple heuristic that depends on the demand priority. Its disadvantages are low mixed-model configuration rate and high setup frequency. Therefore, demand partitioning occurs frequently. In this study, we introduce the tolerance concept and propose a new pattern optimization algorithm based the large neighborhood search (LNS). The proposed algorithm was applied to a refrigerator plant and it was found that mixed-model configuration rate can be improved without demand partitioning.
Effect of Physical Aging on the Bending Recovery of PEEK and PI Films

The relationship between the viscoelasticity and bending recovery responses of PI and PEEK films were studied aswell as the effect of physical aging treatment on these properties. The residual elastic modulus (Er) and degree of aging of thefilms were measured from the stress relaxation-recovery experiment using DMA and the enthalpy relaxation endotherms nearglass transition temperature using DSC, respectively. The instantaneous bending recovery ratio (BR+) of the films wasmeasured from the change in radius of curvature before and after the bending under the condition of 85 oC/85 %RH/24 hr. The DMA test was also performed at 85 oC in order to evaluate the progression of the stress relaxation during bending. The Erand BR+ values showed good correlation, and higher contributions of elastic response or longer delay of the stress relaxationled to improved bending recovery. Films with BR+ values close to zero can be obtained if the conditions of Er<0.05 aresatisfied. A physical aging method was proven to be effective for controlling the viscoelastic response of the films; itcontributes to the retardation of stress relaxation. The optimum physical aging temperatures were 200 oC for PI and 130 oC forPEEK, respectively. Both films achieved a sufficient aging effect with the treatment time of 24 hours.
