        플루오란 로이코 염료를 이용한 염료감응형 태양전지

        The utilization of a fluoran leuco sensitizer, 2-anilino-6-dibutyl amino-3-methylfluoran (ODB-2), for dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) was investigated through the examination of the adsorption of ODB-2 molecules onto the surfaces of porous titanium dioxide (titania, $TiO_2$) films and the photovoltaic properties of ODB-2-based DSSCs. Despite of the absence of the specific anchoring groups with titania, ODB-2 dye molecules were spontaneously adsorbed onto the titania surfaces because the lactone ring in ODB-2 was opened and changed into the carboxylic acid (-COOH) by releasing protons from the surfaces ($TiOH_2{^+}$) of titania, which consequently leads to the chemisorption reaction of ODB-2 molecules to the active sites of titania. DSSCs based on ODB-2 exhibited typical photovoltaic properties with an open-circuit voltage ($V_{OC}$) of 0.19 V, a short-circuit current ($J_{SC}$) of $0.30\;mA{\cdot}cm^{-2}$, a fill factor (FF) of 37%, and a conversion efficiency (PCE) of 0.02%.

        피콜리닉산 리간드를 갖는 염료감응형 태양전지용 루테늄 염료 합성과 특성분석

        A novel heteroleptic ruthenium(II) complex bearing a 4-picolinic acid unit as anchoring ligands (trans-dithiocyanato bis(4-picolinic acid)ruthenium(II) (trans-H1)) was synthesized and its chemical structure was identified by $^1H$-NMR, FT-IR and mass spectroscopy. The optical, thermal, electrochemical and dye adsorption properties of trans-H1 dye were investigated and compared with those of the gold standard ruthenium complex, Ru(4,4'-dicarboxy-2,2'-bipyridine)$_2cis(NCS)_2$ (N3). DSSCs based on trans-H1 dyes were examined under the illumination of AM 1.5 G, $100mWcm^{-2}$ and exhibited typical photovoltaic properties with an open-circuit voltage ($V_{OC}$) of 0.46 V, a short-circuit current ($J_{SC}$) of $4.10mA{\cdot}cm^{-2}$, a fill factor (FF) of 60.4%, and a conversion efficiency (PCE) of 1.14%.

        생쥐 배아 혀 상피의 발생과정에서 나타나는 사이토케라틴 1, 14와 PAX 9에 관한 면역조직화학적 연구

        피부의 상피에 대한 연구는 부속기관의 발생 그리고 보호장벽 형성과 같은 다양한 분야에서 연구되어 왔다. 혀 상피조직의 발생과 관련된 보호장벽의 형성 및 상피조직 분화에 대해서는 많은 연구가 필요한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 혀의 보호장벽이 형성되고 상피의 분화가 일어나는 발생중인 혀를 이용하여 보호장벽 형성과정을 면밀하게 관찰하였고, 피부의 상피에서 나타나는 다양한 사이토케라틴의 발현양상을 발생중인 혀에서 조직면역화학방법으로 확인하였다. 혀 상피의 발생과정에서 PAX 9의 발현이 사이토케라틴 14와 겹쳐서 나타나는 것을 확인할 수 있었으며, 또한 Ki67을 이용한 상피세포의 증식양상과 비교해 볼 때, 유사하게 나타나는 것을 확인할 수 있었는데 이는 PAX 9, 사이토케라틴 14와 세포의 증식이 혀 보호장벽 형성에 관여하는 중요한 인자로 작용할 수 있을 것이라고 생각된다. 이러한 다양한 상피분화관련 인자들의 발현양상들을 비교해 볼 때, 혀 상피의 분화는 E15에서 본격적으로 시작되어 보호장벽의 형성 이전에 사이토케라틴 14와 PAX 9과 같은 인자들의 발현이 먼저 나타나게 되면서 상피의 분화가 진행되고, 이후 사이토케라턴 1과 같은 각질화 관련 인자가 보호장벽 형성에 기여한다고 생각된다. Epithelial differentiation and morphogenesis in skin and oral mucosa were elucidated using various experimental tools. However, tongue epithelial differentiation has not been examined properly yet. In this study, we identified the relationship between morphological changes and localizations of differentiation markers, such as cytokeratins and PAX 9 in mice embryonic tongue development. Protective barrier formation and localization pattern of cytokeratins in tongue epithelium were examined with toluidine blue staining and immunohistochemistry respectively. Localization patterns of PAX 9 and Cytokeratin 14 were coincided during tongue epithelium development. In addition, compared with Ki67 localizations , marker for cell proliferation, localization patterns of PAX 9 and Cytokeratin 14 would suggest that these factors would involve in tongue barrier formation through cell proliferation. Based on these results, tongue epithelial differentiation would begin at E14 with the specific localizations of PAX 9 and Cytokeratin 14 prior to protective barrier formation then Cytokeratin 1, keratinization marker, would involve in protective barrier and filiform papillae formations.

        부산지역 치과환경에서 분리된 coagulase-negative staphylococci의 특성

        본 연구는 치과 병의원 진료실 주변환경과 치과종사자의 휴대전화에서 분리된 coagulase-negative staphylococci(CNS)의 분리율과 항균제 내성양상 및 분자 역학적 특성을 분석하고자 하였다. 2014년 12월부터 2015년 1월까지 부산지역 10개의 치과 병의원에서 총 154개의 샘플을 수집하여 MALDI-TOF분석법을 통해 동정하였다. 항균제 감수성검사는 디스크 확산법을 시행하였고 mupA, mecA 유전자 보유현황 및 SCCmec type은 PCR과 염기서열분석에 의해 결정하였다. 154개의 샘플 중 10개(6.5%)에서 CNS 균주(Staphylococcus epidermidis 5주, Staphylococcus capitis 2주, Staphylococcus warneri 2주, Staphylococcus haemolyticus 1주) 가 분리되었다. 항균제 감수성검사에서 penicillin 10주, mupirocin 6주, gentamicin 5주, tetracycline 3주 및 cefoxitin과 erythromycin 2주가 내성이었고 clindamycin, ciprofloxacin, teicoplanin, trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole에 내성인 세균은 없었다. 2개의 CNS균주(S. warneri, S. haemlyticus)에서 mecA 유전자가 검출되었고 1개의 CNS균주(S. epidermidis)에서 mupA가 확인되었다. Methicillin 내성 CNS균주 가운데 1주는 SCCmec I형이었고 1균주는 SCCmec의 유전형이 구분되지 않았다. 본 연구를 통하여 다약제 내성을 보이는 CNS균주가 더 이상 우리나라 치과병의원 환경에서 드물지 않음을 알 수 있었다. Coagulase-negative staphylococci (CNS) have recently become the bacteria most frequently found in clinical infections. The aim of this study was to investigate the prevalence, antimicrobial susceptibilities, and molecular characteristics of CNS isolates from dental clinic environments in Busan, Korea. One hundred and fifty-four samples were collected from 10 dental clinics and dental hospitals in Busan from December 2014 to January 2015. Species were identified by matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization–time-of-flight. Antimicrobial susceptibility was determined by disk diffusion methods. A polymerase chain reaction was performed to detect mecA, mupA gene, and SCCmec types. Of the 154 samples, 10(6.5%) isolates were identified as CNS (5 Staphylococcus epidermidis, 2 Staphylococcus capitis, 2 Staphylococcus, and 1 Staphylococcus haemolyticus). Among the 10 isolates, 6 were resistant to penicillin, 5 were resistant to gentamicin, 3 were resistant to tetracycline, and 2 were resistant to cefoxitin and erythromycin. However, clindamycin, ciprofloxacin, teicoplanin, and trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole resistant isolates were not present. Genes encoding mecA were detected in 4 (2 S. warneri and 2 S. haemolyticus) isolates, and mupA in 1 (S. epidermidis) isolate. One methicillin-resistant CNS (S. warneri) isolate was determined as being of the SCCmec type I. It is concluded that CNS resistant to various antimicrobial agents was widely distributed in dental clinic environments in Korea.

        Rapid-onset obesity with hypoventilation, hypothalamic, and autonomic dysregulation (ROHHAD) syndrome is a rare disease char-acterized by rapid progression of obesity and central hypoventilation with autonomic and endocrine dysregulation. There is no gold-standard diagnostic method for ROHHAD syndrome; it is diagnosed based on a years-long clinical course. For this reason, di-agnosis of ROHHAD syndrome is often delayed. In particular, ROHHAD has a high mortality rate due to cardiopulmonary arrest when quick diagnosis and appropriate intervention of central sleep apnea are not timely. We report a case in which an 11-year-old girl with central sleep apnea was diagnosed with ROHHAD syndrome: the clinical course with early breathing intervention using noninvasive positive pressure ventilation. We emphasize the importance of respiratory interventions in the clinical course of RO-HHAD syndrome. (Allergy Asthma Respir Dis 2021;9:249-254)

        로다민 기반 염료감응형 태양전지의 제조 및 특성 분석

        Rhodamine B (RhB) was utilized as a dye sensitizer for dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) and its photovoltaic property was examined under the illumination of AM 1.5 G, $100mWcm^{-2}$. DSSCs based on RhB exhibited typical photovoltaic properties with an open-circuit voltage ($V_{OC}$) of 0.34 V, a short-circuit current ($J_{SC}$) of $1.55mA{\cdot}cm^{-2}$, a fill factor (FF) of 50%, and a conversion efficiency (PCE) of 0.26%. In order to further improve the photovoltaic properties of RhB-based DSSCs, the effect of (i) incorporating a strong electron-donating NCS unit into the RhB molecular backbone, (ii) combining a bis-negatively charged zinc complex anion ($Zn-dmit_2$, dmit=di-mercapto-dithiol-thione) with the amine cation of RhB, (iii) co-adsorbing RhB dyes with chenodeoxycholic acid (CDCA) molecules onto porous $TiO_2$ electrodes, was investigated and discussed.

        대학생 건전음주 효과성 평가에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 대학생의 음주에 관한 인식을 분석하여 보다 현실적이고 효과적인 대학생 음주예방 정책 수립에 근거를 제공하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 조사대상은 N시와 D시에 소재한 대학생 중 보건의료계열대학생과 공과대학생들을 대상으 로 2013년 3월 4일부터 2013년 3월 8까지 대한보건협회에서 구조화된 설문지를 300명에게 배포하여 연구의 목적, 내용 및 기입요령을 설명하고 작성토록 하였다. 설문지는 의학계열 대학생 48명, 보건 계열 대학생 98명, 그리고 공과대학생들 147명으로 총 293명의 설문지를 회수하였다. 음주에 미치는 요인 중, 일반적 특성으로는 학년(p<0.05)이 영향을 주었으며, 일반적 특성과 음주상태가 포함되었을 경우는 처음음주시기(p<0.01), 친구의 음주상태(p<0.01)가 영향을 주는 것으로 나 타났다. 일반적 특성, 음주상태 및 음주교육이 포함된 경우는 처음음주시기(p<0.001), 친구의 음주행태(p<0.05)로 나타났 으며, 전체 모델 설명력은 20.0%로 나타났다. 대학생들의 음주문화 과련, 대학 내 절주동아리를 이용한 교육과 홍보 등을 적극적으로 펼쳐 학생들이 건전음주에 기여할 것으로 판단된다. The aim of the study is to investigate the awareness towards drinking in the university students and to provide the basic data for more realistic and efficient drinking prevention policy. The subject of investigation was students at the Department of Medicine/Health and those at the Department of Engineering among students living in N city and D city and the survey, which was constructed by KPHA, was distributed to 300 students from March 4, 2013 to March 8, 2013 with explaning the purpose, contents and entry method of the investigation. Overall 293 responses were collected, as 48 reponses from the Department of Medicine, 98 from the Department of Health, 147 from the Department of Engineering. Among the factors that affect students' drinking, as a general factor, a grade(p<0.05) had an influence, if a general factor and drinking condition are included, it turned out that the first drinking time(p<0.01) and friends' drinking condition had an influence. Accountance of the whole model was turned out as 20.0%. Considering university students' drinking culture, it is suggested that active education and campaign through anti-drinking student groups will contribute to create healthy drinking culture.

        부산지역 치과병원의 환경과 종사자의 원내감염 세균 오염

        Dental hospital environments and staffs can become contaminated with potentially variety pathogenic bacteria and have a possibility of causing cross infections. The aim of this study is to assess the identification and dissemination of dental hospital contaminated bacterial strains. We sampled computer keyboard, dental gown, light handle, mobile phone, nasal cavity, office phone, scaler, 3-way syringe, dental spittoon, handpiece, staff hands, and headrest. All the samples were cultured on blood agar plate (BAP) and MacConkey agar plate. The colonies grown on each plate were identified with matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization-time of flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF) using MALDI Biotyper. Sixty-three strains on BAP growth that were identified as Arthrobacter castelli (n=1), Corynebacterium pseudodiphtheriticum (n=2), Corynebacterium propinquum (n=1), Lactobacillius fructivorans (n=1), Micrococcus luteus (n=2), Staphylococcus aureus (n=11), Staphylococcus capitis (n=2), Staphylococcus epidermidis (n=34), Staphylococcus haemolyticus (n=3), and Staphylococcus warneri (n=4). Sixty-nine strains on MacConkey agar plate were identified as Acidovorax delafieldii (n=3), Acidovorax temperans (n=3), A. baumannii (n=2), Acinetobacter johnsonii (n=3), Acinetobacter lwoffii (n=3), Acinetobacter pittii (n=3), Acinetobacter radioresistens (n=1), Acinetobacter spp. (n=1), Chryseobacterium spp. (n=1), Citrobacter freundii (n=2), Comamonas testosteroni (n=1), Cupriavidus metallidurans (n=1), Delftia acidovorans (n=1), Enterobacter aerogenes (n=6), Enterobacter cancerogenus (n=1), Klebsiella oxytoca (n=2), K. pneumoniae (n=4), Klebsiella spp. (n=1), Moraxella osloensis (n=2), Moraxella spp. (n=2), P. aeruginosa (n=4), Pseudomonas asplenii (n=1), Pseudomonas entomophila (n=1), Pseudomonas jessenii (n=1) Pseudomonas luteola (n=1), Pseudomonas monteilii (n=2), Pseudomonas oryzihabitans (n=1), Pseudomonas rhodesiae (n=3), Rhizobium tumefaciens (n=1), Serratia marcescens (n=2), Sphingomonas paucimobilis (n=1), Sphingomonas spp. (n=3), Stenotrophomonas maltophilia (n=2), and Stenotrophomonas spp. (n=2). Our results showed that dental hospital environments and staffs were contaminated with variety nosocomial bacteria.
