        요양병원 간호사와 간호조무사의 공감능력, 의사소통능력 및 간호업무성과

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate empathy ability, communication, and nursing performance among registered nurses (RN) and nursing assistants (NA) in long-term care hospitals. Methods: Participants were 155 nursing personnel (RN 80 and AN 75) who worked in 8 long-term care hospitals in G city and J Province. Data collection was conducted from July 6 to August 6, 2016. Descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, and stepwise multiple regression were used with SPSS/WIN program version 23.0 for data analysis. Results: Nursing performance of RN was significantly influenced by communication ability (${\beta}=.88$, p<.001) and university graduation (${\beta}=.25$, p=.025). Nursing performance of NA was influential by communication ability (${\beta}=.77$, p<.001) and marriage (${\beta}=.42$, p=.018). Conclusion: Findings show that communication ability of RN and NA is important in nursing performance. Therefore, there is a need to develop programs to improve communication ability and validate the effectiveness of the programs in improving nursing performance of nursing personnel working at long-term care hospitals.

        Cleidocranial dysplasia (previously known as cleidocranial dysostosis) is a well-known, rare and hereditary skeletal disorder characterized by a variety of dental abnormalities and as its name implies, striking involvement of the cra-nial vaults and clavicles. A 17-year-old female who presented with short stature and prolonged retention of decid-uous teeth, subsequent delay in eruption of permanent teeth is described, She could touch her shoulders together at the midline anteriorly. Diagnostic procedures showed hypoplasia of the maxillary and zygomatic bones, open fontanelles and sutures, and aphasia of the clavicles. The paranasal sinuses were absent or underdeveloped. Characteristically, she had near parallel-sided borders in the ascending ramus of the mandible and abnormal-shaped, the slender pointed coronoid process. The zygomatic arches had a downward bend and discontinuity at the zygomaticotemporal suture area. Radiographic and clinical investigations of her cranial and skeletal abnormalities revealed features of cleidocranial dysplasia.(Korean J Oral maxilloface Radiol 2000; 30: 229-234)

        장애자녀의 초등학교 전이지원을 위한 부모교육 프로그램이 어머니의 양육스트레스와 스트레스 대처방식에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of a parent education program supporting their children's transition to elementary school on parenting stresses and ways of coping in mothers. In this study, twenty mothers of the children with developmental disabilities who would enter elementary school the next year participated, and they were divided into 2 groups of 10 mothers for experimental group who participated in a parent education program for the transition support to elementary school for their children with disabilities and the other 10 mothers for control group who didn't participate in. The results of this study were as follows. First, in parenting stresses of mothers, significant differences were found between experimental group and control group. This indicated that the parenting stresses of experimental group were diminished more significantly than those of the control group. Second, in the coping of problem-focused and of hopeful thinking among ways of coping, significant differences were found between experimental group and control group. This suggested that the coping of problem-focused and of hopeful thinking of experimental group were increased more significantly than those of the control group. Finally, suggestions for enhancing the supports for children's transition to elementary schools were discussed. 본 연구는 장애자녀의 일반초등학교 전이지원을 위한 부모교육 프로그램이 어머니의 양육스트레스 수준과 네 가지 스트레스 대처방식에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 본 연구의 부모교육 프로그램은 선행연구를 참조로 본 연구자들에 의해 개발되어 실시되었다. 연구대상은 서울특별시 소재 장애인 복지관에서 교육서비스를 받고 있는, 초등학교 입학예정 장애 자녀를 둔 어머니였다. 실험집단 어머니 10명과 통제집단 어머니 10명이 본 연구에 참여하였다. 실험집단은 4개월 간 11회기의 부모교육 프로그램과 2회기의 추수 지원에 참여하였다. 연구 결과, 장애자녀의 일반초등학교 전이지원을 위한 부모교육 프로그램은 실제로 자녀의 초등학교 전이시기의 어머니의 양육스트레스 감소와 스트레스 대처방식 중 문제집중적 대처방식과 소망적 사고 대처방식을 향상시키는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 장애자녀의 초등학교 전이지원에 초점을 두고 가족, 학교, 및 지역사회가 협력하는 부모 프로그램을 실제 전이시기(11월부터 다음해 3월까지)에 실시하여 그 효과를 검증한 결과를 제시하였다. 장애아동의 초등학교로의 전이지원을 확대하고 내실화하는데 기여할 후속연구 주제 및 제도적 장치에 대한 몇 가지 제언을 제공하였다.

        Acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADEM) is a rare, postinfectious autoimmune inflammatory demyelinating disease of the central nervous system. ADEM presents clinically encephalopathy in association with polyfocal neurologic deficits. Of them, optic neuritis is less common symptom. We experienced ADEM with optic neuritis associated with Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection in a 5 year-old girl. She initially presented lethargy, irritability, ataxia and loss of pain sense on right hand and progressed to decreased visual acuity and papilledema of both eyes on the 4th hospital day. Brain magnetic resonance imaging showed multiple bilateral hyperintense lesions in the subcortical white matter on T2 weighted images. After administration of intravenous immunoglobulin and high dose intravenous methylprednisolone, she recovered completely.

        지역아동센터의 프로그램 만족도와 사회적 지지가 다문화가정 청소년의 사회적응에 미치는 영향

        This research looked at the teenagers in multicultural families that are now using community children center and the influence of program satisfaction and social support of community children center when they are adapting to the society. Amos 18.0 was used as an analysis method and research hypothesis was verified by providing a path coefficient of structural equation. As a result, program satisfaction, social support, and other aspects for community children center showed meaningful results in adaptation to the society of adoldscents in multicultural families. First, protection, which is the subordinate control variable, was proven to influence the home life, family relationship, and the school life when adapting to a society. Also, educational and cultural experiences influenced the home life, family relationship, and family function this improvement showed the meaningful relationship in home life and the relationship with friends. Community networks were proven to meaningfully influence the school life and relationship with friends. In addition, as a result of looking at the influence of the social support of children using community children centers in adapting to a society. It was proven that both the support of teachers and friends gave meaningful influence in adapting to the society. Particularly, the support of teacher influence in families of subordinate control variables, school life, and relationships with friends when adapting to the society. Also, the support of friends meaningfully influenced each field including home life, family relationships and school life. Based on these results, it suggested the community children center needs development of active programs for multicultural adolescnts not only have one, but many diverse problems. It also suggested that the program needs teacher training programs that suit the adaptation to the society for adolescents in multicultural families. 본 연구는 지역아동센터를 이용하는 다문화 가정 청소년의 지역아동센터에 대한 프로그램 만족도나 사회적 지지가 그들의 사회적응에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 살펴보았다. 분석방법은 Amos 18.0을 사용하였고, 구조방정식에 의한 경로계수를 제시하여 연구가설을 검증하였다. 그 결과 지역아동센터에 대한 프로그램 만족도나 사회적지지 등 모든 면에서 다문화 가정 청소년의 사회적응에 유의미한 결과를 보였다. 먼저 프로그램 만족도의 하위변인인 보호는 사회적응의 가정생활과 가족관계, 학교생활에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 교육과 문화체험은 가정생활과 가족관계에 영향을 미쳤으며, 가족기능강화는 가정생활과 친구관계에 통계적으로 유의미한 관련성을 보였다. 지역네트워크는 학교생활과 친구관계에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 아울러 지역아동센터이용 청소년의 사회적지지가 사회적응에 미치는 영향력을 살펴본 결과, 교사지지와 친구지지 모두 사회적응에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 조사되었다. 특히 교사지지는 사회적응의 하위변인인 가정, 학교생활과 친구관계에 영향을 미쳤으며, 친구지지는 가정생활, 가족관계, 학교생활 각 영역에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 지역아동센터는 한 가지 문제가 아닌 여러 가지 다중적인 문제를 가지고 있는 다문화 아동들을 위해 적극적인 프로그램 개발은 물론, 다문화가정 청소년의 사회적 적응을 위해 적합한 교사교육 프로그램 마련이 시급하다는 점을 제시하였다.

        학령기 행동문제의 위험요인과 보호요인으로서의 또래관계

        This study examined relationships between peer variables and externalizing behavior problems of 290 4th and 5th grade children in elementary school. The children completed the Friendship Quality Scale and the peer nomination questionnaire. Parents and teachers rated behavior problems of children using the Connors` Rating Scale. Results indicated that rejected children had more behavior problems than popular, average, or neglected children. Socio-emotional supports from a close friend and satisfaction with the friend were negatively related to behavior problems. Behavior problems were mainly predicted by low peer acceptance, and behavior problems of rejected children were negatively and strongly related to socio-emotional supports of a close friend. In conclusion, peer rejection was a risk factor and a friend`s support was a protective factor for externalizing behavior problems in 4th and 5th graders.

        This study analyzes cultural and symbolic values and develops fashionable cultural products focused on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, Day of the Dead, in Mexico. The background research was a literature review using Internet material such as UNESCO s official website and Mexico s Tourism Bureau. Day of the Dead belongs to the social consciousness festival sector among UNESCO s intangible cultural heritage, and its cultural value is evident as a world view linking life and death, a festive rite based on a positive impression of death, hybridity of the traditional faith and Catholicism, and visual traditional of artistic value. This study was designed in response to the cultural peculiarity of Mexico, which embraced death in a positive way. The design was developed using the meanings and characteristics contained in offerings, marigolds, and skulls, which are representative symbols of Day of the Dead. Motives were developed using Illustrator CS2, and the result of the final fashion items were expressed in 3D using Photoshop CS2 and TexPro V11 programs. Patterns were expressed in unique and elegant ways through zentangle techniques and splendid colors such as green, navy, mustard, and purple with deep and strong tones. After eight patterns were developed, twenty-four designs were developed by applying them to four items: socks, clutches, sneakers, and T-shirts. This study confirms that the intangible cultural heritage of the world can be a driving force for creating new and novel ideas in the field of design.
