‘-는지’의 통사적 특성과 의미 연구 - 비종결어미 ‘-는지’를 중심으로-

본고에서는 국어사전의 용례를 바탕으로 비종결어미 ‘-는지’의 전반적인 사용 양상을 살펴 ‘-는지’의 통사적 특성과 의미가 무엇인지 분석하고자 하였다. 명사절을 이끄는 ‘-는지’는 기본적으로 [사실성], [미정성]의 의미를 지닌다. [미정성]은 ‘미정의 요소’ 즉 구체적인 정보가 결여된 항목을 포함한다는 의미로 ‘미지의 정보’와 ‘미노출 정보’를 모두 포괄할 수 있는 개념이다. ‘-는지’ 명사절을 취하는 용언은 ‘앎’과 관련하여 크게 다섯 가지로 나누어지는데 어떤 유형의 서술어인지에 따라 ‘-는지’ 명사절이 가지는 [미정성]의 성격이 달라진다. 접속어미 ‘-는지’는 [미지성]을 지니며, 문맥에 따라 ‘강한’ [미지성] 또는 ‘약한’ [미지성]을 지닌다. 접속어미 ‘-는지’는 그 의미가 단일하지 않고, 통사적 특성도 그 의미에 따라 다르다. ‘-는지’ 접속문은 선·후행절의 의미 관계에 따라 두 가지로 나누어진다. 첫 번째는 선행절이 ‘후행절 주어가 궁금해하는 사실’을 나타내고 후행절은 ‘후행절 주어가 궁금함을 해결하기 위해 시도하는 행동’을 나타내는 경우이다. 두 번째는 선행절이 ‘직접 지각한 사태를 근거로 화자가 추측해 낸 원인이나 가지게 된 의문(궁금함)’을 나타내고 후행절은 ‘화자가 직접 지각한 사태’를 나타내는 경우이다.

PAV를 활용한 공유형 항공 이동수단의 해외 연구 동향 및 국내 적용 방안

At present, many countries around the world, as well as Korea, have faced serious social problems due to increased traffic congestion resulting in the social loss. As a result, there is an increasing demand for new transportation which is not exist. This is why many companies around the world are trying to solve this problem with transportation innovation through On Demand Mobility(ODM) which uses Personal Air Vehicle(PAV) that is operated on demand by customer rather than scheduled transportation. This study analyzed the current research trends of the On Demand Mobility projects of National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), UBER, and AIRBUS. Also, this study presents the benefit of adopting this On Demand Mobility systems into Korea. Three commuting routes were set up in the metropolitan area in Korea, and the benefit of using the On Demand Mobility method was compared with the current public transportation and private car. 현재 우리나라 뿐만 아니라 전 세계의 많은 나라들이 사회적 손실을 발생시키는 교통체증 증가로 인한 심각한 사회문제에 직면하고 있다. 따라서 현존하지 않은 새로운 교통수단에 대한 요구가 증가하고 있다. 이로 인해 세계 여러 기업에서는 미래형 개인항공기(PAV; personal air vehicle)를 활용한 정기 운항이 아닌 고객 요구 시 운항하는 공유형 항공 이동수단(ODM; on demand mobility)을 통해 이 문제를 해결하고자 한다. 본 연구는 미항공우주국, 우버사 및 에어버스사에서 진행하고 있는 공유형 항공 이동수단 프로젝트의 현재 연구동향을 분석하였다. 또한 이러한 공유형 항공 이동수단을 우리나라에 적용하였을 때의 효과에 대해 연구하였다. 수도권을 중심으로 3개의 출퇴근 경로를 정하여 공유형 항공 이동수단 이용 시 효과에 대해 연구를 수행하였다.

공동체의 생존과 지속: 『스모크 시그널즈』와 미국 원주민 여성

This article analyzes the representation of the influence of Native American female characters on the survival and continuity of their individuals and communities in the film Smoke Signals. Placing female characters at the center to subvert the Hollywood’s Native American stereotypes, Smoke Signals shows that the individuals and communities can exert power and wisdom for survival and continuity. The film evokes the pivotal role that Native American women have played in maintaining and protecting the community based on the maternal-centered traditions of Native Americans, which has not been distinctly illuminated in US media and Hollywood. The female characters in the film are represented as independent and active women who respond flexibly to harsh reality; their actions trigger change in the male characters, and, ultimately, the survival, continuity, and solidarity of the entire community. In particular, the film represents the ways in which the lifestyle and attitude of Native American women transcend the dichotomy between the older generation and the younger generation to affect the entire community. This underscores the modern continuation of Native American women's traditional abilities: adaptability and flexibility. Therefore, by focusing on the scenes and sequences related to the traditions and influence of Native American women in the film, this article explores how the representation of female characters plays a key role in the overall narrative of Smoke Signals. 본 논문은 미국 원주민 여성 인물들의 적응력과 생존력이 원주민 개인과 공동체의 생존과 지속에 끼치는 영향력을 영화 『스모크 시그널즈』가 어떤 방식으로 재현하는지 분석한다. 『스모크 시그널즈』는 할리우드 중심의 원주민 스테레오타입을 전복하고 원주민 개인과 공동체가 생존과 지속을 위한 힘과 지혜를 발휘할 수 있음을 보여주며, 그 중심에 여성 인물을 위치시킨다. 이를 위해 영화는 그간 미국의 미디어와 할리우드가 조명하지 않았던 원주민의 모계 중심 전통문화를 기초로 하여 원주민 여성이 공동체의 유지와 보호에 중추적 역할을 해왔음을 상기시킨다. 영화 속 여성 인물들은 고단한 현실에 유연하게 대응하는 독립적이고 능동적 인물로 재현되며, 그들의 행동은 다른 남성 인물들의 변화, 그리고 궁극적으로 공동체 전체의 생존과 지속, 결속을 촉발한다. 특히 영화는 원주민 여성의 생활방식과 태도가 기성세대와 젊은 세대라는 이분법적 세대 구분을 뛰어넘어 원주민 공동체 전반에 영향을 미치는 양상을 보여준다. 이는 원주민 여성의 전통적인 능력인 적응력과 유연성이 현대적으로 지속함을 강조하는 것이다. 그러므로 본 논문은 『스모크 시그널즈』의 원주민 여성들, 그들과 관련된 전통, 그들의 영향력에 초점을 맞추어 관련 씬 또는 시퀀스들을 구체적으로 분석하면서, 여성 인물들의 재현이 어떻게 영화의 전체적 서사에 핵심적인 역할을 하는지 탐색한다.

앤 섹스턴의 몸의 시학 : 여성의 아브젝트 몸의 전복과 재주체화

This article attempts to analyze representations of women's body in the Anne Sexton's poetry, focusing on Julia Kristeva's concept of “abject”. According to Kristeva, Abjection, a process of unconsciously separating, excluding, and removing something in the process of forming a subjectivity, occurs. Kristeva calls this removed one “Abject”. Abject is conventionally considered filthy and terrifying because it is threatening the existing social order, system, and identity. Anne Sexton puts women's abject body in the foreground of the poems. In a male patriarchal society, representation of the female body has been hidden and ruled out because it is considered shameful and filthy. By representing these women's bodies in poetry, Sexton subverts the women's abject body from hidden to visible and objectifiable one. These subversive attempts require a process of newly accepting and analyzing the women body as an object. In this process, women deviate from the social norm of being women, shaking the essence of gender. The women's abject body becomes the open body which is Subject in Process, and here we can find the possibility of re- subjectivization. The women's open body makes multiple subjectivities possible. Furthermore, Sexton develops these women's open bodies, the abject bodies, into a place of solidarity that embraces all other women's abject bodies. It becomes a new linguistic place to talk about various women's subjectivity through the women's abject body.
