The constant air volume flow fan can maintain constant flow rate to the wide range of exit pressure. Therefore, the use of this fan is increasing recently for ventilation of high building. Brushless DC motor is adopted to this fan because that has advantages of compactness and performance. But this type of motor protrude from impeller hub side to fan inlet. The Impeller inlet flow is influenced by size of this obstacle called hub. In this paper, the influence of hub shape on the fan performance characteristics are experimentally and numerically analyzed. CFX 12.0 is used to perform the fan internal flow analysis and numerical results are compared with the experiments. Depending on hub shape, internal loss is generated and the performance and efficiency are reduced. The best performance is occurred around h/b1=0.25. The results of this study will be contribute to initial design of constant air volume flow fan development.

In complex commercial facilities, tenants are critical factors in terms of their competitiveness, and tenant mix is a decisive factor in creating malls` concepts. This study investigates the effect of tenant characteristics on rental rate in complex shopping mall. The case mall of this study is Western Dome that is an open air mall in Ilsan. We set the independent variables for this study by distinguishing tenant characteristic variables and physical characteristic variables, and conducted variance analysis and multiple regression analysis. With empirical research, we confirm tenant characteristics have an effect on the rental rate of complex shopping mall. The empirical research shows tenants of food and beverage, accessory, cosmetic etc. pay relative higher rent, but tenants of culture and entertainment pay relative lower rent. And we also find out physical characteristics such as store size, corner location, connection to main street, main entrance distance, etc. have influence on the rental rate. This study shows tenant characteristics should be considered in determining rental rate of complex shopping mall.

An electrical railway system uses high voltage system for train traction and low voltage system for train control. Railway systems are broadly distributed across mountains, sea sides and cities. Electrical accidents provoke the death and injury of a human being and the damage of the equipment by the overcurrent due to the catenary dropping and by the overvoltage due to lightning. Grounding systems are adopted for the protections of the system from the overcurrent and the overvoltage. Isolation grounding for each system can be easily installed. However, the closed circuits between grounding systems can be occurred. The currents flow through the closed circuits cause the abnormal operation of the system. To overcome the problem of the isolation grounding, the equipotential bonding is usually adopted. The equipotential bonding should have very small grounding resistance. In this paper, we showed the transition from the isolation grounding system to the common grounding system and presented the comparison and the analysis of two grounding systems by simulation. In addition, we proposed the direction for a new grounding system of electric railway.

We report a case of clear cell acanthoma occurred in a 61 year old man. He developed a brownish bean sized nodule on the left chest 3 years ago. The skin lesion has slowly increased in size without any subjective symptoms. Histopathologic examination revealed proliferation of clear cells within a sharply demarcated area of the epidermis. The presence of numerous neutrophils throughout the epidermis were also noted. (Kor J Dermatol 28(5): 642-645, 1990)

We reported a case of nevus sebaceus associated with trichilemmoma in a 19-year- old female patient. The lesion was a 2 x 2 cm sized yellowish verrucous plaque with two 0.3 x 0.3 cm sized dome-shaped papules. Histopathological examinat,ion revealed hyperkeratosis, papillomatosis and acanthosis, proliferation of sebaceus glands, presence of apocrine gland and mild inflammatory cellular infiltration around superficial vessels. In the epidermis of the lesion, there were two foci of lobulated mass consisted of clear cells with columnar basal cells and thick basement membrane. (Kor J Dermatol 28(6):818 821, 1990)

This study is undertaken to find the optimal method to make the decision on the degree of water pollution by comparison of K-WQI, KOE-WQI that is made for index with the water quality index and water quality environment standard of the Frame Act on Environment Policy as the result of survey for water quality reality on the major point of the Yeongsan river from 2002 to 2004. The water quality of major rivers has some differences depending on seasons. however, under the water quality standard by the $BOD_5$ density, most of rivers displayed the water quality level of $II{\sim}III$ grading, and on K-WQI that is classified by indexing for 10 categories of pH, DO, $BOD_5,\;COD,\;SS,\;T-N,\;NH_3-N,\;NO_{3^-}$ N, T-P, and E-Coli and classified into 5 groups from 100 points to 40 points, they displayed the score distribution of the first grade in water quality for $85{\sim}100$ points to the second grade in water quality for $70{\sim}84$ points. On KOE-WQI that is classified by indexing for 5 categories of pH, DO, $BOD_5$, COD and T-coli and classified into 5 groups from 90 points or above for outstanding and 29 points or below for very bad, and the water quality distribution is made ranged from the first grade in water quality for 90 points or more to the third grade in water quality for $69{\sim}50$ points. In addition, for the contribution of the water quality decline, the Environmental standard has significant dependency on the $BOD_5$ density, with K-WQI contributing in various water quality decline depending on the environment around the river area of $BOD_5,\;T-N,\;NH_3-N,\;NO_3-N,\;T-P$, and E-Coli, and KOE-WQI acting os the factor contributing to lower the water quality decline by $BOD_5$, COD, and T-coli. As such, the current water quality environment standard has high dependency on $BOD_5$ and KOE-WQI excludes some nitrogen and phosphorus that considers the river environment that the grade in water quality is set by some category, and K-WQI reflected well of the ecology environment of rivers with the diversity of the assessment factor as well as to have the low dependency of specific factor to be objective.
