일반적으로 화학공장에서 요구되는 프로세스 펌프는 취급하는 액의 물리적 화학적 성질 및 고 형체(solid)함량, 결정생성 여부 등을 고려 이에 충분히 견디고 유지보수가 용이하며 가격 면에 서도 저렴하고 여러 가지 운전 조건에 상응할 수 있는 호환성 있는 제품이어야 한다. 다양한 액성 및 운전조건에 적합한 펌프 선정에는 실제적인 많은 시험과 경험이 필요하다. 본 글에서는 원심펌프 선정시 보편적으로 고려되어야 할 일반사항에 대하여 기술하고자 한다.
Development of a F-Theta Lens for a Laser Scanning Unit

Recently, global applications of aspheric lens have ben expanding rapidly in the fields or elec- tronics, optical components, communications, aerospace, defense, medical optics devices, etc. The F-Theta lens, which is one major application of aspheric lens, is a core optical part in a laser scanning unit (LSU) because it mainly affects the optical performance of the LSU. The F-Theta lens is made of the plastic by using the injection molding method because of its cost and weight. In this study, the mold core for a F-Theta lens that consisted of two non-axisymmetric aspheric surfaces, was procesed by using the fly-cuting method and the form acuracy of the mold core was measured. The F-Theta lens produced by using the injection molding method was satisfactory enough to met actual specifications.

The renewable energy sources can be thought of one of the major measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the industries. However, the utilization technology for those sources is approaching in the different matters. One of them, thermoelectric generation might be applicable to fishing industry. A various of internal combustion engines are used in a wide range of fisheries. After the ignition process, the heat passed out from the exhaust outlet. Recycling the heat could be not only an energy source but also reduction of green gas emission. Therefore, this study was designed to verify the feasibility of generation from wasted exhaust gas and analyze the performance. The designed experiment devices were connected with a data logger and an electric loader to quantify the currency and voltage. The devices were installed in a coastal fishing vessel for a gillnet fishery. During the whole fishing trips, the amount of generation was measured by engine rpm and the fishing operation procedures including vessel operations. At the maximum 1,500 rpm in the practical range, the generation amount was 113.6 W. The amount difference in relation to connection method was within 5 W: serial connection was 111.4 W and parallel connection was 115.8 W.
교정구에 의한 음향도플러유향유속계의 평균 체적후방산란강도 검토

ADCPs have been widely used to estimate the dynamic characteristics and biomass of sound scattering layers (SSLs), and swimming speed of fish schools for analyzing SSLs spatial distribution and/or various behavior patterns. This result showed that the verification of the mean volume backscattering strength (MVBS or averaged SV, dB) acquired by the ADCP would be necessary for a quantitative analysis on the spatial distribution and the biomass estimation of the SSLs or fish school when ADCP is used for estimating their biomass. In addition, the calibrated sphere method was used to verify values of each MVBS obtained from 4 beams of ADCP (153.6 kHz) on the base of 3 frequencies (38, 120, 200 kHz) of Scientific echo sounder``s split beam system. Then, the measured SV values were compared and analyzed in its Target Strength (TS, dB) values estimated by a theoretical acoustic scattering model.
