고지방식이 마우스의 간에서 Lactobacillus acidophilus NS1에 의한 글리코겐 함량 조절 효과

본 연구는 고지방식이 마우스에서 체중 감소, 혈당 감소 및 인슐린 저항성 개선 효과를 가지는 LNS1 균주의 간 내 글리코겐 함량에 미치는 영향을 조사하여 고지방식이에 의한 비정상적인 글리코겐 대사 개선을 위한 활용 가능성을 검토하고자 실시하였다. LNS1을 12주간 경구 투여한 고지방식이 마우스의 간에서 포도당 운반체 단백질인 GLUT2와 글리코겐 합성의 주요 효소인 GCK, GYS2의 유전자 발현 변화를 확인한 결과, LNS1의 경구 투여는 고지방식이 마우스에 비해 GLUT2와 GYS2의 유전자 발현을 각각 약 2배, 1.8배 증가시켰으며, GCK의 발현에는 영향을 주지 않는 것으로 확인되었다. 또한, GCK의 regulatory unit으로 작용하여 GCK의 활성을 억제하는 GCKR와 글리코겐 분해 과정의 주요 효소인 G6PC의 발현은 LNS1 투여에 의해 HFD마우스에 비해 각각 약 53%, 32% 감소함을 보였다. 간 조직에서의 결과와 마찬가지로 HepG2 세포에 LNS1-CM의 처리는 GLUT2와 GYS2의 유전자 발현을 약 1.9배, 2배 증가시켰으며, GCK의 발현 변화에는 영향을 주지 않는 것으로 확인되었다. GCKR과 G6PC의 유전자 발현 또한 LNS1-CM 처리에 의해 각각 77%, 47% 감소함을 보였다. 또한, 간 조직 내 글리코겐 함량은 고지방식이와 LNS1 투여를 병행한 마우스에서 고지방식이 마우스에 비해 약 1.5배 증가한 것으로 조사되었다. 위의 결과들을 종합해 볼 때, LNS1은 GLUT2, GYS2, GCKR와 G6PC의 발현 조절을 통해 간 조직내 글리코겐 함량을 증가시켜 고지방식 이에 의한 글리코겐 대사 이상을 개선시키는 효과를 가지는 것으로 사료된다. Previously, we showed that oral administration of probiotics, Lactobacillus acidophilus NS1 (LNS1), improved insulin sensitivity in high-fat-diet-fed mice (HFD mice). Furthermore, LNS1-conditioned media (LNS1-CM) reduced HNF4α transcription activity and the expression of phosphoenol pyruvate carboxykinase (PEPCK), a key enzyme in gluconeogenesis in HepG2 cells. In this study, we demonstrated that LNS1 administration increased the expression of glycosyltransferase 2 (GYS2) and glucose transporter 2 (GLUT2), while reduced the expression of glucose-6-phosphatase (G6PC) expression in liver of HFD mice. Furthermore, LNS1 suppressed hepatic expression of glucokinase regulatory unit (GCKR) in HFD mice without changing the mRNA levels of glucokinase (GCK), suggesting that LNS1 may inhibit nuclear GCK activity. Consistently, addition of LNS1-CM to HepG2 cells increased the mRNA levels of GYS2 and GLUT2 with reduced mRNA levels of G6PC and GCKR. Moreover, hepatic glycogen contents were increased in HFD mice upon administration of LNS1. Together, these results suggest that LNS1 facilitates glycogen accumulation in liver by regulating the expression of genes involved in glycogen metabolism, contributing to improved insulin sensitivity in the HFD mice.
뇌졸중 환자와 정상인의 근 수축 유형에 따른 피질 신경원의 활성도 비교

Purpose: In order to examine difference in the activity of potential of spinal neurons and cortical neurons according to muscle contraction type in post stroke hemiplegic subjects and healthy subjects, the present study conducted an experiment as follows. Methods: The subjects in the experimental group were 17 left-side hemiplegic subjects (9 female, 8 male; mean age, 63.41$\pm$9.86 years) with the right hand as the dominant hand selected among post stroke hemiplegic subjects, and 17 age matched healthy control subjects (10 female, 7 male; mean age, 64.12$\pm$12.07 years). Movement-related cortical potentials (MRCPs) were measured using surface electromyography and electroencephalography while concentric and eccentric movements were made alternately. Results: As to the pattern of the activity of MRCP, which indicates the activity of motor cortical neurons, we found that the amplitude is high (p<0.01), the length of excitement is short (p<0.01) and the ascending gradient of amplitude to the peak increases (p<0.05) in post stroke hemiplegic subjects' lesion sites different from healthy subjects. Conclusion: The activity of cortical neurons was no difference in activity according to contraction type was observed in post stroke hemiplegic subjects' lesion sites. This suggests that there is no distinction in the activity of cortical neurons between concentric contraction and eccentric contraction. Accordingly, if post stroke hemiplegic subjects' activity of motor cortex is analyzed by measuring MRCPs, it is considered useful in research on neural plasticity or as a ground of clinical effects in the area of physical therapy for the central nervous system.
시뮬레이션을 이용한 웨이퍼 FAB 공정에서의 병목 공정 탐지 프레임워크

This paper presents a bottleneck detection framework using simulation approach in a wafer FAB (Fabrication). In a semiconductor manufacturing industry, wafer FAB facility contains various equipment and dozens kinds of wafer products. The wafer FAB has many characteristics, such as re-entrant processing flow, batch tools. The performance of a complex manufacturing system (i.e. semiconductor wafer FAB) is mainly decided by a bottleneck. This paper defines the problem of a bottleneck process and propose a simulation based framework for bottleneck detection. The bottleneck is not the viewpoint of a machine, but the viewpoint of a step with the highest WIP in its upstream buffer and severe fluctuation. In this paper, focus on the classification of bottleneck steps and then verify the steps are not in a starvation state in last, regardless of dispatching rules. By the proposed framework of this paper, the performance of a wafer FAB is improved in on-time delivery and the mean of minimum of cycle time.
항공 전투 시뮬레이션의 합성전장환경 구축을 위한 환경 데이터 공급 방안

In this paper, there is a research for providing environmental data to reflect environmental effects to the simulation for the aviation weapon systems by the construction of the synthetic battlefield. The results of the aviation engagement simulation are able to be different by environmental effect. In this paper consists of three major steps; 1) This paper analyzes the real aviation battlefield and designs the synthetic battlefield based on the analysis. 2) In order to construct the designed synthetic battlefield, we collects the real environmental data for the atmosphere. 3) A method is involved for fast interpolation of huge point data and virtual grid is adapted for providing efficiency of irregularly distributed environmental data at Run-Time.
Synthesis and luminescent properties of poly (9-(3-vinyl-phenyl)-phenanthrene)

Recently, interest of polymer light-emitting diode (PLED) fabricated from conjugated polymer has augmented because PLED has advantage property that is well-suited to flexible lighting and solution processed device. In this presentation, we suggest a new polymer host based on phenanthrene, poly(9-(3-Vinyl-phenyl)-phenanthrene) (PVPP). It can be easily synthesized through simple synthetic methods which are Suzuki and Wittig reactions. From NMR data, vinyl group protons were disappeared and aromatic protons showed broad proton peaks because of polymer characteristics. PVPP film can be obtained from spin coating with solution used by common solvent. It exhibited PL maximum value of 381nm and broad PL spectrum of 70nm FWHM value. Energy transfer smoothly occurred when the three dopants for green, red and yellow were used in PVPP.
