As interest in the environment increased, a law was established to diagnose emission-related parts and turn on MIL when defects are found, and applied to automobiles sold in California after 1988. However, there was a need for technology development to detect these devices because they generate a lot of emissions when they malfunction. Through this study, we wanted to examine whether OBD inspection is possible in-used vehicles. A test was conducted to analyze the correlation between the OBD test and the exhaust pipe test. A defect in OBD does not necessarily result in high emissions, but it has been shown that more emissions are generated on average. Therefore, it was confirmed that vehicles with a high possibility of generating exhaust gases can be selected through OBD inspection. OBD inspection can detect failures before exhaust gas-related parts are completely damaged, so it is necessary to introduce OBD inspection into vehicle inspection in order to detect early failure of emission-related parts.
운행 경유자동차의 입자개수(PN) 검사 타당성 검토에 관한 연구

Ultrafine particles emitted from diesel vehicles contain heavy metals and hazardous chemicals, causing diseases such as stroke, which is more harmful to the human body. For this reason, PN regulations were introduced for vehicle sold after 2012. However, current smoke tests measuring opacity cannot be PN measured, and even if DPF is removed or damaged as diesel engines improve, it is difficult to detect defects through smoke tests. To solve this problem, we tried to examine the feasibility of PN inspection of a in used diesel vehicle. A defective DPF was installed in a vehicle with a normal DPF. And the PN, diagnostics, and the smoke concentration were measured and compared. As a result, no DPF defects could be found in the smoke test and OBD test. However, in the PN inspection, DPF defects were confirmed. Therefore, it is necessary to introduce PN inspection in Korea to detect DPF defects early and regulate ultrafine particles.
A Nickel Nanowire Diluter Operating through the Principle of the Dielectrophoretic Attraction Force

This paper presents a microfabricated nanowire diluter which dilutes the concentration of nanowires in solution instead of by the conventional centrifuge process. The device has 16 pairs of gold electrodes in a micro channel composed of a glass substrate and PDMS. We prepared nickel nanowires by the template-directed electrodeposition method using nanoporous anodized aluminum template (AAO). We injected the Dimethylformamide (DMF) solution containing nanowires into the inlet of the diluter while applying square wave voltages on the electrodes to trap the nanowires at the subsequent gold electrodes by means of dielectrophoretic attraction forces. The concentration of nanowires at the outlet of the micro channel was changed as we expected, which illustrates that the device can effectively dilute nanowires and can be applied to a controlled assembly of nanowires.
스마트시티에서 활용 가능한 LoRa기반 화재 대피 경로 안내 시스템

최근 국내에서 스마트시티 조성이 활성화됨에 따라 이에 적합한 LoRa 통신을 중심으로 연구를 진행하였다. 본 논문에서는 현재 사용 중인 수동형 대피체계의 한계를 보완하고자 화재 상황에 따른 방향 지시 서비스를 구현하였다. 저전력 장거리 통신이 가능한 LoRa 모듈을 이용해 통신망을 구축하였다. 화재 발생 시 CSI 카메라 모듈을 이용한 YOLO 객체 탐지와 온습도 센서를 통해 건물 내부의 혼잡도와 상황을 파악한다. 이러한 데이터를 바탕으로 총 대피시간을 단축시킬 수 있는 대피알고리즘에 적용해 최적의 대피 경로를 안내하는 화재 대피 경로 안내 시스템 개발을 제안한다.
항균활성 천연물질을 이용한 반추위 메탄저감용 친환경 첨가제 개발

본 연구는 천연물질에서 유래한 반추위 메탄저감용 친환경 첨가제 개발을 위해 각기 다른 종균을 이용하여 발효한 세신 추출물의 항균활성, 항산화활성 및 in vitro 반추위 발효시험을 체계적으로 실시하였다. 접종된 균주들의 성장효율을 알아보기 위해 실시한 생균수측정 결과 L. curvatus NJ40 균주에서 유의적으로 높은 균주성장을 나타냈다(p<0.05). 항균활성측정 결과는 대조구 대비 L. curvatus NJ40 및 L. plantarum NJ45 균주와 발효된 세신 추출물이 병원균에 대한 항균효과를 나타내는 것으로 조사되었다. In vitro 반추위 발효실험에 세신 및 발효 세신 추출물을 적용한 결과, 휘발성 지방산 생성량 대비 반추위 메탄 저감효과가 나타났다. 특히 반추위 미생물 활력 및 사료이용 효율을 대표할 수 있는 휘발성 지방산 생성효율에 대한 부정적 효과 없이, 오히려 휘발성지방산 생성효율을 향상시키면서 반추위 메탄 저감효과를 가져올 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. The present study was conducted to investigate effective starter culture to improve biological activity of Asarum sieboldii. Antibacterial activity, antioxidant activity and reduction of enteric rumen methane production were used as criterions for biological activity. Ground A. sieboldii was added in MRS broth at 10% (w/v) and fermented by different starter cultures. Weissella confusa NJ28, Weissella cibaria NJ33, Lactobacillus curvatus NJ40, Lactobacillus brevis NJ42, Lactobacillus plantarum NJ45 and Lactobacillus sakei NJ48 were used for starter culture strains. Each starter culture was inoculated with 1% (v/v) ratio and fermentation was performed at $30^{\circ}C$ with agitation (150 rpm) for 48 h. MRS broth for the control was employed without starter culture. Then the fermentation growth was dried and extracted using ethyl alcohol. The growth of starter culture was detected at NJ40, NJ42, NJ45 and NJ48. And the highest cell growth was found in NJ40. Antibacterial activity against to Staphylococcus aureus, Listeria monocytogens, Mannheimia haemolytica and Salmonella gallinarum were observed in the extract fermented by NJ40 and NJ45. All treatments showed antioxidant activities, however, there were no significant differences (p>0.05). In in vitro rumen fermentation, negative control (NC) and positive control (PC) were assigned to without extract and with non-fermented A. sieboldii extract. Significant suppression of gas productions were detected in positive control and treatments compared to negative control (p<0.05). However, total volatile fatty acid production was not suppressed. Significant methane reduction per total volatile fatty acid productions were found in positive control and NJ45 treatment (p<0.05). The present study suggested a fermentation of A. sieboldii using NJ45 strain could improve its biological activity and make possible for its use in bio additive for enteric rumen methane mitigation without suppression of animal productivity.
