WSS(Wall Shear Stress) on the blood vessel surface is assumed to be one of the important elements causing atherosclerosis. Since FSI analysis considers the deformation effect of the vessel wall, the need of the 3-D blood vessel model including intima and adventitia is gradually increasing. For this reason, several methods for 3-D vessel reconstruction including intima and adventitia have been studied. However, These blood vessel models are not suitable for accurate FSI analysis because IVUS image includes deformation of the vessel due to the catheter insertion. In this study, we propose a method for 3-D blood vessel reconstruction including non-deformed intima and adventitia for FSI analysis.
1980년대 하이틴 성교육 콘텐츠와 할리퀸 로맨스 연구

이 글은 1980년대 하이틴을 대상으로 한 성교육 콘텐츠 생산의 문화적 배경과 내용을 살펴보고, 당대의 성 담론과 비교하여 할리퀸 로맨스에 대한 재평가를 시도하는 것을 목표로 한다. 이를 위해 청소년 성교육의 필요성이 본격적으로 대두되었던 1960년대 후반의 관련 담론들을 살펴보고, 하이틴, 즉 10대 후반 여학생을 독자로 상정하던 『여학생』과 『여고시대』와 같은 잡지에 게재된 각종 성교육 콘텐츠를 확인했다. 그리고 1979년부터 출간되어 1980년대에 꾸준히 하이틴 독자들에게 읽혔던 할리퀸 로맨스를 분석하며 성교육 콘텐츠의 성 담론과 어떤 관계가 있는지 조사하였다. 1960년대에는 청소년에게 ‘민감한’ 사안으로 터부시되었던 성 담론이 70년대부터는 ‘교육’을 목표로 서사화 되어 점차 공론화되기 시작했고, 80년대에 들어서면 ‘오락성’ 혹은 ‘상업성’의 성격을 지닌 콘텐츠로 전달되었다. 성교육 콘텐츠의 성 담론은 당시 하이틴을 독자로 상정해 출판되었던 할리퀸 로맨스와 긴밀하게 관련이 있었다. 성교육 콘텐츠가 교육적 목적은 물론 하이틴 독자가 성애를 상상하고 은밀하게 즐길 수 있는 엔터테인먼트의 역할을 했으며, ‘저질 출판물’이라는 평가를 받았던 할리퀸 로맨스는 오히려 하이틴을 둘러싼 당대 성담론과 조응하는 부분이 다수였고, 보수적인 당대 성 담론의 시야를 넓히는 역할까지 했다. 이 논문은 80년대 하이틴의 성교육 콘텐츠와 할리퀸 로맨스의 연관성을 다루었다. 이 글이 각종 성 담론과 문화적 배경, 그리고 여성의 독서 취향과 관련된 다양한 논의에 질문을 던지는 역할을 했기를 기대한다. This article aims to examine the cultural background and content of the production of sex education contents for Highteen in the 1980s, and to try to reevaluate Harlequin romance in comparison with the discourses on sexuality in the time. To this end, this article looked at related discourses in the late 1960s, when the need for sex education for teenagers began to emerge in earnest, and checked various sex education contents published in Highteen magazines such as “Yeohaksaeng” and “Yeogosidae” which used to refer female students(Highteen) as readers. Then, this paper analyzed the Harequin romance, which was published in 1979 and consistently read by Highteen readers in the 1980s, and examined how it had to do with the sexuality discourse of sex education contents. Sexuality discourse, which was regarded as a “sensitive” issue for teenagers in the 1960s, began to use the story-telling for the goal goal of “education” in the 70s and gradually became a public debate and in the 80s, it was delivered as content with the character of “entertainment” or “commerciality.” The sexuality discourse in sex education content was closely related to Harlequin romance, which was then published with highteen as a reader. Sex education contents served as an entertainment for highteen readers to imagine and secretly enjoy sexual love, as well as for educational purposes. On the other hand, Harlequin romance, which was considered a “low-quality publication,” was rather largely in fit with the sexuality discourse surrounding highteen. Harlequin romance also played a role in broadening the horizons of the conservative discourse in the time.

For FSI(Fluid-Structure Interaction) analysis, many researches about 3D blood vessel model including intima and adventitia reconstruction method have been studied. These studies are using IVUS images from which can get cross-sections of intima and adventitia and angiogram image with which can calculate location and coordinate of IVUS frame. However, when taking the IVUS images, blood vessel is deformed by catheter insertion, so the 3D blood vessel model using IVUS and angiogram images is in deformed state by catheter. For exact result of FSI analysis, the deformation has to be eliminated. In this paper, to eliminate this deformation, we proposed 3D blood vessel reconstruction method using IVUS, angiogram, CT images through structural analysis.

Exocarpium Citrulli is the cortex of Fructus Citrulli. In Korean traditional medicine, it has been used to treat edema, dysuria, mouth and tongue sores. Although Exocarpium Citrulli has been known to possess anti-cancer activity, it has been rarely conducted to evaluate the anti-inflammatory activity. The present study was examined to evaluate the anti-inflammatory effects of the Exocarpium Gitrulli EtOH extracts (ECE) in vitro. Inflammatory mediators were detected after the addition of LPS with or without ECE in Raw 264.7 macrophage cell lines. LPS plays a key role in leading to the massive production of pro-inflammatory cytokines, such as TNF-a, 1L-1β and IL-6 in macrophages. In this study, cell viability assay (MTT assay) was conducted to determine the non-cytotoxic concentration of ECE. The dosages (0.1 and 0.3 mg/ml of ECE used in this study had no significant cytotoxicity during the experimental period. The relative level of NO was measured with Griess reagent. Pro-inflammatory cytokines were detected by EUSA assay. The cell was treated with 1 μg/ml of LPS 1 h before adding ECE. The level of NO and cytokines (TNF-a, IL-1β) in culture medium was increased by LPS application. However, these increases were attenuated by treatment with ECE.

Objectives : Phyllostachys Folium is leaves of Phyllostachys nigra var. henesis $S_{TAPF}$. In the East Asian traditional medicine, the herb has been used to treat nasal bleeding, dysuria, epilepsy and etc. The present study was conducted to evaluate the anti-inflammatory effects of the Phyllostachys Folium water extracts (PFE) in vitro and in vivo model. Methods : Cell viability was measured by MTT assay after the treatment of PFE and NO production was monitored by measuring the nitrite content in culture medium. iNOS, COX-2, $I{\kappa}B$, $p-I{\kappa}B{\alpha}$ amd $NF{\kappa}B$ were detected by immunoblot analysis, and levels of cytokine were analyzed by sandwich ELISA kit. Anti-edema effect of PFE was determined in the carrageenan-induced paw edema model in rats. Results : LPS increased NO and cytokines levels compared with control, these increases were attenuated by PFE. In addition, LPS-induced pro-inflammatory proteins such as iNOS, COX-2 were down regulated by PFE. These anti-inflammatory effect of PFE results from inhibition of phosphorylation of $I{\kappa}B$ and translocation of $NF-{\kappa}B$. Conclusion : These results show that PFE has some anti-inflammatory effects which might play a role in gram-negative bacterial infection inflammation and $NF{\kappa}B$ activated diseases.
