        4세 이상의 부분조절내사시에서 수술방법에 따른 결과 비교

        Purpose: To compare postoperative outcomes according to surgical method in partially accommodative esotropia in patients over 4 years of age. Methods: We compared motor and sensory outcomes between conventional and augmented surgery in 66 patients. The postoperative follow-up period was at least 24 months. The formula for the amount of the rectus muscle recession was based on the distant angle deviation after hyperopic correction in the conventional group and the average amounts of the distant angle deviation with and without full correction of hyperopia in the augmented group. In addition, the conventional group was divided into 2 sub-groups to compare surgical outcomes. The A group consisted of patients who underwent surgery with the amount of surgical correction based on distant angle deviation after full hyperopic correction. The B group consisted of patients under the same condition after reduced hyperopic correction to achieve best corrected visual acuity (BCVA). Results: Among the patients who had an ocular alignment less than 10 PD, orthophoria was significantly higher in the conventional group than in the augmented group on the last follow-up. When comparing the 2 conventional sub-groups, the postoperative stereoacuity was better in group B than in group A. Among patients with a postoperative overcorrected alignment of more than 10 PD who underwent augmented surgery, 75% showed decreased postoperative stereoacuity compared to preoperative stereoacuity. Conclusions: In partially accommodative esotropia in patients over 4 years of age, conventional surgery compared to augmented surgery after reduced hyperopic correction is better in order to achieve BCVA for postoperative stereoacuity as well as ocular alignment.

        이차성 부갑상선 기능항진증과 연관되어 발생한 상완골의 갈색종 1예

        Brown tumor is a bone disease that arises in the setting of increased osteoclastic activity and fibroblastic proliferation in the involved bone. It is well recognized as serious complication of hyperparathyroidism. Brown tumor is uncommon, and brown tumor with secondary hyperparathyroidism resulting from chronic renal failure has rarely been reported. We recently experienced a case of a 28-year-old Korean woman with chronic renal failure caused by chronic glomerulonephritis, on hemodialysis for nine years. She has been hospitalized with left shoulder pain for two years. Image studies showed multiple cystic masses, and both suspicious marked thinning and partial destruction of the cortex on the head of the left humerus. Histopathologic analysis of the mass lesion showed a fibrotic capsule, hemosiderin pigmentation, and giant cell, all characteristic of brown tumor. A subtotal parathyroidectomy was done without surgery of the bony lesion (brown tumor), with successful results. We report this case with a brief review of the literature.

        디스플레이형 자판기 사용자 분석을 위한 이중 단계 검출 및 분류 망

        Machine learning techniques using visual data have high usability in fields of industry and service such as scene recognition, fault detection, security and user analysis. Among these, user analysis through the videos from CCTV is one of the practical way of using vision data. Also, many studies about lightweight artificial neural network have been published to increase high usability for mobile and embedded environment so far. In this study, we propose the network combining the object detection and classification for mobile graphic processing unit. This network detects pedestrian and face, classifies age and gender from detected face. Proposed network is constructed based on MobileNet, YOLOv2 and skip connection. Both detection and classification models are trained individually and combined as 2-stage structure. Also, attention mechanism is used to improve detection and classification ability. Nvidia Jetson Nano is used to run and evaluate the proposed system.

        화장품 소재로서 순창 베리류 유래 Sacchromyces cerevisiae FT4-4의 항산화 활성 및 미백 효과

        기능성 화장품 소재로서 활용할 수 있는 효모의 분리를 위하여 순창군 베리류 및 과수원 토양에서 분리주 80종을 1차로 선별하였다. 80종의 분리주를 대상으로 항산화 활성 및 tyrosinase 저해 활성을 측정한 결과 DPPH 라디칼 소거능은 51.41%, SOD 활성은 62.23%, tyrosinase 저해 활성 64.75%로 가장 우수한 FT4-4를 최종적으로 선별하였다. 18S rRNA 염기서열 분석을 통해 Saccharomyces cerevisiae FT4-4로 명명하였으며, API ZYM을 이용하여 세포외 효소 활성을 추가로 측정하였다. 발효 시간에 따른 균체 성장 및 tyrosinase 저해 활성의 변화를 측정한 결과 배양 후 16시간에 최대 균체량인 3.16 g/l와 67.68%의 tyrosinase 저해활성을 나타내었다. 또한, S. cerevisiae FT4-4의 화장품 소재로 활용하기 위한 세포 독성과 melanoma B16F10 세포 멜라닌 억제능을 확인한 결과, 세포독성은 50 mg/ml 이하의 농도에서 100% 이상의 세포 생존율을 보였으며, 시료 10 mg/ml에서의 멜라닌 생합성 저해능은 72.02%로 측정되었다. 향후 FT4-4의 화장품 소재로 활용하기 위해서는 생산 수율을 증가하기 위한 생산조건 확립 이외에도 안전성을 향상시키기 위한 추가적인 독성연구 등 다양한 연구가 수반되어야 하나, 본 연구에서의 항산화 및 미백 효능만으로도 충분히 활용할 가치가 있는 소재로 사료된다. Saccharomyces lysate has the well-known function of soothing the skin in various ways: it is an anti-irritant and can treat skin care conditions, such as skin whitening and antioxidative activity. However, data on the safety for use of Saccharomyces lysate in cosmetics and skin care products are still limited. To design a new cosmetic material with antioxidant and skin-whitening effects, 80 yeast strains were isolated from berries grown in Sunchang. Among the isolates, the FT4-4 strain, which exhibited superior biological activities, was selected for further experiments. The FT4-4 strain was identified as Saccharomyces cerevisiae by 18S rRNA gene sequencing analysis. S. cerevisiae FT4-4 showed higher DPPH radical-scavenging (51.41%), superoxide dismutase (62.23%), and tyrosinase inhibition (64.75%) activities. The highest yield of biomass (3.16 g/l) and maximum growth rate of S. cerevisiae FT4-4 were observed within 16 h. Furthermore, the cytotoxicity potential of S. cerevisiae FT4-4 on B16F10 melanoma cells was measured by an MTT assay, and the results indicated that S. cerevisiae FT4-4 had a capacity to inhibit melanin up to 72.02% at an initial 10 mg/ml concentration. These results suggest that S. cerevisiae FT4-4 could be a promising candidate as a multi-functional material for application in the cosmetic industry, especially because of its antioxidant and skin-whitening effects.

        중년기 및 노년기 사회자본의 경제적 복지 효과 비교

        Social capital theory provides a framework for analyzing the economic well-being. The purpose of this study is to analyze the age effect of social capital by comparing middle aged and the elderly, as well as to investigate the independent effects of social capital on their subjective economic well-being, respectively. The two concepts of “trust” and “social network” were used to measure the level of social capital. Comparisons between the age groups were made regarding the relationships between social capital and economic well- being of four age groups, including younger middle-aged, older middle-aged, younger elderly, and older elderly. Data from the 2nd wave of the Korean Longitudinal Study of Ageing (KLoSA) were used. The final sample for this analysis is 8,406 respondents aged 45∼84. The major findings are as follows. First, the level of social capital, trust and social network, is statistically different by age groups. Second, the model fits in the case of model including social capital variables are all larger than their counterparts in the four age groups. Third, social capital is “resource” that can contribute to increasing the subjective economic well-being. Based on the empirical results, implications for welfare policies related with issues of social security for the elderly in Korea are provided.

        CNG 레귤레이터의 제어 방식에 따른 성능특성 연구

        국내 CNG Bi-fuel Kit를 개조한 차량들은 대부분 Diaphragm 감압방식을 적용한 기계식 레귤레이터를 장착하여 운행 중에 있다. 하지만 Diaphragm의 재질 특성 및 기계식 압력제어 방식의 특성 상 다양한 문제점들이 발생되고 있으며, 이를 개선하기 위한 연구들이 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 CNG 차량용 레귤레이터의 압력제어방식에 따른 성능특성 확인 및 비교 분석 진행을 통해 개선방안을 도출하고자 하였다. 실험 결과에 따르면 Diaphragm을 적용한 감압방식이 Piston을 적용한 방식보다 일반적인 성능에서 유리하였으나 주변 온도환경 변화에 따른 변동 폭이 큰 것을 확인하였다. 또한 전자식 압력제어를 통해 레귤레이터의 일반적인 성능을 향상시킬 수 있음을 확인하였다. The domestic vehicles remodeling the “CNG Bi-fuel Kit” are mostly in operation with installing the mechanical regulator applying the Diaphragm. However, due to the material characteristics of Diaphragm and characteristics of mechanical pressure control method, various problems are happening. This study tries to deduce the improvement plan through the checking of performance characteristics according to the pressure control method of CNG regulator and progress of comparative analysis. According to the test result, the decompression method applying the Diaphragm has advantage compared to the method applying the Piston. Furthermore, it was confirmed that through the electronic pressure control, it is possible to improve the general performance of the regulator.
