This study is to define the Automated Container Terminal(ACT) and container terminal system. Also, we analyze the present condition of the container terminal system in Pusan port and its automation level by systems approach. And this paper aims at evaluating on the priority of R&D investment until the beginning of the second stage of New Pusan Port Project(2006). In this process we have considered 8 factors (cost, labor, area, time, volume, reliability, safety, convenience) to analyze 6 subsystems. The priority order of R&D until target year by sub-systems is as follow; Cargo Handling System > Transfer System > Port Entry System > Storage System(Distribution & Manufacturing System included) > Inland Transport System > Port Information System.
알칼리 환경에 대한 유리섬유/비닐에스테르 수지 복합재료의 내구성 향상에 관한 연구

In this paper, effect of additives on durability of glass fiber/vinylester resin composites in alkaline environment at 80℃ has been investigated. Additives were polyvinyl alcohol, kaolin and alumina. A alkaline solution contains 0.16% Ca(OH)₂. 1% NaOH, 1.4% KOH by weight was used for the alkaline environmental condition to simulate concrete pore solution with high pH 12~13 level. The conditioned specimens of strand type were tested in tension to evaluate the tensile strength. The test results have indicated that the tensile strength of the conditioned specimens was significantly reduced, regardless of the environmental factors considered, due to the degradation of GFRP composites. The main objective of this study is to improve the durability performance of GFRP composites by adding additives.

Korean ports have been managed by the national government and public utilities have being emphasized. The efficiency of ports has decreased and the harmony has not been made between port and city which surround the port.<br/> Technological development in ship building has rapidly developed in these days. According to the increasement of ship speed and ship size, the competition has become increasing for getting cargo from other world ports. Therefore, every port management system of the world is changing,<br/> According to world trends, Korea would rather introduce individual port management system(one port - one authority system) based on each port characteristic than the central based port management system(multi port - one authority system), Korea should induce commercially sensitive and independent port management system. For these reasons, a new port management system in Korea -- "Port Authority(p A) System" is being proposed.<br/> Although central government and local governments agree to induce "Port Authority System", they cannot make any consensus when it will be induced and what type of P A will be selected.<br/> It is desirable idea that the P A system could create the synergy effect and activation for regional economy between the port and the port city, if P A system is introduced,<br/> PA System is a kind of social system. By contrast with the physical system, social system consists of complicated and fuzzy factors. The relationship among the factors is tangled. The understand and evaluation of social system are not easy.<br/> There are so many evaluation methods but they are not applicable to the effect of PA system which has property of non-additivity and overlapped factors. Therefore, probability measure can not be used to evaluate the effect of P A system but fuzzy measure can be used. This method should be easy to calculate it.<br/> In this study, Hierarchical Fuzzy process(HFP) has been introduced to solve these problems with multi-factors and multi-level hierarchy. It is applied for a quantitative evaluation which P A type will be selected for regional economy effect.
스트란드형 유리섬유/비닐에스테르 수지 복합재료의 특수환경에 대한 내구성 시험

The effect of various environmental conditions on durability of E-glass fiber/vinylester resin composites has been investigated using tensile test specimen of strand type. Tensile strength decreased with the immersion time in all environmental conditions. The extent of decreasing was more serious in case of alkaline condition than deionized water condition regardless temperature condition. we found that the decrement of tensile strength during the immersion time in various environment conditions was mainly caused by the degradation of interface between glass fiber and vinylester resin and damage of glass fiber surface.
