        염기처리한 SLA 표면이 표면 특성 및 골모유사세포의 반응에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the surface characteristics and response of osteoblast-like cell at SLA surface treated with NaOH. Materials and methods: Three kinds of specimens were fabricated for the experiment groups. Control group was a machined surface, SLA group was a conventionally SLA treated surface, and SLA/NaOH gorup was SLA surface treated with NaOH. To evaluate the surface characteristics, the surface elemental composition (XPS), surface roughness and surface contact angle were evaluated in each group. And the cytotoxicity, cell adhesion, cell proliferation and ATP activity of osteoblast-like cells (MG-63 cells) were compared in each group for evaluatation of the cell responses. Statistical comparisons between groups were carried out via one-way ANOVA using the SPSS software (SPSS Inc., Chicago, USA), and then performed multiple comparisons. The differences were considered statistically significant at P<.05. Results: SLA surface treated with NaOH (SLA / NaOH group) was changed to hydrophilic surface. All groups did not show the cytotoxicity to the MG-63. In cell adhesion studies, SLA / NaOH group showed the higher degree of adhesion than anothers (P<.05), Up to 7 days of incubation, the proliferation was showed the increasing tendency in all groups but SLA / NaOH group showed the highest cell proliferation between the three groups (P<.05). At 7 days of incubation, there was no difference in ALP activities between the three groups, but at 14 days, SLA / NaOH group showed significant increase in ALP activities (P<.05). Conclusion: In this study, SLA surface treated with NaOH promoted cell adhesion, proliferation and differentiation. It means that SLA/NaOH group is possible to promote osseointegration of implants.

        Rhizoctonia solani AGII-II에 대한 항진균 활성을 가지는 Bacillus sp. FF-9의 분리.동정 및 최적 배양조건

        In this study, established soil-borne Bacillus sp. FF-9 with strong antifungal activity was isolated for identification and to determine optimal culture condition. By using 16s rDNA sequencing method, FF-9 of the selected bacteria was identified as genus Bacillus sp., Bacillus sp. FF-9 was cultured at $30^{\circ}C$, for 24 h in the LB medium. Cell growth increased quickly after 6 h and the highest cell growth was indicated at 12 h. The most antifungal activity against Rhizoctoina solani AGII-II appeared at 18 h and the optimal temperature and pH were 30 and pH 8.0, respectively. A testing of carbon and nitrogen sources showed the highest antifungal activity at 1% lactose and 1% yeast extract Furthermore an addition of salt showed the most antibiotic activity in the 0.15% $K_2HPO_4$. 잔디병 유발균 Rhizoctonia solani AGII-II에 대한 강한 항진균 활성을 가지는 균주를 토양에서 분리 동정하고 최적 배양조건을 확립하였다. 분리된 균주를 165 rDNA sequence로 동정한 결과 Bacillus sp.로 Bacillus sp. FF-9로 명명하였다. Bacillus sp. FF-9 균체의 생육은 LB배지를 사용하여 $30^{\circ}C$에서 24시간 진탕배양한 결과 6시간 이후부터 급격히 증가하여 12시간째 가장 높은 생육을 나타내었다. 피검균인 Rhizoctonia solani AGII-II에 대한 최대 항진균 활성은 18시간째에 나타났으며, 최적 온도는 $30^{\circ}C$, 최적 pH는 8.0에서 가장 높은 항진균 활성을 나타내었다. 탄소원과 질소원 실험에서는 1% lactose와 1% yeast extract에서 높은 항진균 활성을 나타내었고, 미량원소 첨가에 따른 항진균 활성은 0.15% $K_2HPO_4$에서 가장 높은 항진균 활성을 나타내었다.

        전통 발효주로부터 glutathione 고함유 효모 Saccharomyces cerevisiae FF-8의 분리.동정 및 최적 생산조건

        In this study, strain of high-producing intracellular glutathione was isolated from Korean traditional rice wine. The isolated strain was identified as Saccharomyces cerevisiae based on the morphological, physiological and biochemical characteristics, and was designated as FF-8. The optimal condition for glutathione production by Saccharomyces cerevisiae FF-8 was obtained after cultivation with shaking for 72 hours in the YM medium. The optimal temperature, shaking rate and initial pH for the glutathione production were $30^{\circ}C$, 100 rpm and pH 6.0, respectively. The dry cell weight and glutathione concentration produced by Saccharomyces cerevisiae FF-8 were 5.2 g/l and 72.0 mg/l, respectively, under the optimal culture condition.

        공동주택에서 미세먼지 저감을 위한 에어샤워 성능실험

        High levels of fine dust is an increasing health concern in major cities such as Seoul. To improve the indoor air quality of apartments, this study examined the ability of an air shower system installed in an apartment unit to remove fine dust (as defined by ISO 12103-A2) from various clothing items of building occupants entering their apartment. Results of the experiment indicate that an air shower system is effective in removing final dust from clothing after one pass through the system. The fine dust removal efficiency for various clothing items was 74% for a dress suit, 70.6% for hiking clothes, 63.3% for knit-wear, 50.5% for a cotton t-shirt, and 38.8% for a coat. Fine dust removal efficiency increased with a second and third pass through the air shower system by an average of 9.1 and 13.9 percentage points respectively compared to a single pass through the system.

        Given the fact that the entire bituminous coal used for a boiler is imported, the supply of coal is often affected by the rise of international coal price. Moreover, coal suppliers have been diversified due to the competition among power generation companies for reducing costs and inexpensive sub-bituminous coal is used. As a result, boilers combustion conditions have been deviated from the initial boiler design. This requires the selection of adequate excessive air ratio for different combustion conditions to enhance the efficiency of boiler operation. The boiler efficiency has been identified through an examination on the change of excessive air ratio by mixed fuel in unit 8 of Dangjin power plant complex. In addition, an excessive air ratio was calculated based on the examination result. According to the study result, the adequate excessive air ratio was 13% when Macquarie and Powder river were mixed at a ratio of 5:5 and when Sonoma and Megaprima persada were mixed at a ratio of 5:5. When BHP Billiton and Powder river were mixed at a ratio of 4:6 and Centennial and Batubara were mixed at a ratio of 3:7, the adequate excessive air ratio was 11%.

        온라인 교양 한국어 수업에 대한 유학생의 인식 및 만족도 연구

        본 연구는 대학(원)의 온라인 교양 한국어 수업에 대한 유학생들의 인식 및 만족도를 살펴보고 이를 통해 개선 방향을 제안하는 데 목적이 있다. 대학(원)에서 온라인 한국어 수업을 경험한 79명의 유학생을 대상으로 설문을 실시한 결과, 교양 한국어 수업에서는 실시간 수업 48%, 동영상 수업 40%, 실시간 및 동영상 혼합 방식의 수업 12%의 비율로 온라인 수업을 운영한 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 수업 방식에 따른 유학생들의 만족도는 실시간 및 동영상 혼합 방식에서 가장 높게 나타났다. 실시간 수업 및 동영상 수업의 장단점에 대한 설문 결과 실시간 수업 방식의 경우 참여자간 상호작용이 가능한 점, 동영상 수업의 경우 시간에 구애받지 않고 반복 재생이 가능하다는 점에서 긍정적인 평가를 받았다. 온라인 교양 한국어 수업의 개선을 위해서는 먼저 온라인 수업을 원활하게 진행할 수 있는 학교 행정 차원의 안정적인 기반 확보를 위한 노력이 필요하다. 그 다음으로는 한국어 수업의 학습 영역에 따라 실시간과 동영상 수업 방식을 적절히 혼합하여 수업을 운영하여 학습자들과의 상호작용을 이끌어내고 학습 효과를 높이기 위한 전략이 필요하다. 마지막으로 유학생들의 수업내용에 대한 이해도 향상을 위해 온라인 수업에 적합한 체계적인 교육 자료의 마련이 요구된다. This study is to suggest improvement in online Korean classes in university through a survey of international students' awareness and satisfaction. According to a survey of 79 international students who experienced online Korean language classes at the university, 48% of real-time classes, 40% of video classes, and 12% of real-time and video-mixing classes were run online. However, the satisfaction level of students studying abroad was the highest in real-time and video mixing methods. According to a survey on the pros and cons of real-time classes and video classes, it was positively evaluated for being able to interact with participants in real-time classes and for video classes, repeatable playback regardless of time. First, efforts should be made to secure a stable foundation at the school's administrative level to facilitate online classes in Korean language. Second, depending on the learning area of Korean language classes, strategies are needed to operate classes by appropriately mixing real-time and video teaching methods to elicit interactions with learners and enhance learning effectiveness. Finally, systematic educational materials suitable for online classes are required to improve the understanding of the contents of classes of international students.

        홍국발효홍삼의 이화학적 특성 및 생리활성

        홍국발효홍삼의 알코올성 간 질환 개선용 건강기능식품 개발을 위한 기초 자료를 얻기 위하여 일반 이화학적 특성과 항산화 활성 정도를 측정 하였다. 홍삼 및 홍국발효홍삼의 추출물 수율은 각각 수용성 5.83% 및 6.58%, 70% 에탄올 0.98% 및 0.62%, 70% 메탄올 3.04% 및 1.27%로 수용성 추출에서 가장 높았다. 홍삼 및 홍국발효홍삼 1% 추출물 중의 총 당도는 각각 0.23% 및 0.17%로 홍삼에서 약간 높았으며, 가용성 고형분도 각각 0.6 및 0.5 Brix로 홍삼에서 약간 높았다. 총 폴리페놀 화합물 함량은 홍삼보다 홍국발효홍삼 추출물에서 높았으며, 70% 에탄올 추출물에서 가장 높았다. 미네랄 함량은 K가 22,386 및 16,936 ppm으로 가장 많이 함유되어 있었고, 다음으로 Ca이 각각 3,693 및 2,310 ppm으로 함유되어 있었고, Mg는 각각 2,647 및 2,703 ppm, Na는 각각 103 및 109 ppm, Fe는 각각 115 및 42 ppm, Zn은 각각 57 및 62.3 ppm이 함유되어 있었다. 항산화 실험에서 총 폴리페놀 함량, DPPH radical 소거능 및 불포화 지방산 linoleic acid를 이용한 TBA법에 의한 항산화 활성은 홍삼 추출물 보다는 홍국발효홍삼에서 높은 것으로 나타났다. This study investigated the biological activities and chemical characteristics of Monascus-fermented Korean red ginseng (MFRG). The comparative activities of water, ethanol, and methanol extracts from MFRGE and Korean red ginseng (RG) were tested in vitro of antioxidative models of linoleic acid peroxidation by thiocyanate and thiobarbituric acid (TBA) methods and DPPH (α,α'-diphenyl-β-picrylhydrazyl) radical scavenging activities. In addition, measurements of their bioactive total phenolic compounds and minerals, and extract yield, were obtained. The extract yield of each solvent extracted from MFRG and RG was aqueous by 6.58% and 5.83%, ethanol by 0.62% and 0.98%, and methanol by 1.27% and 3.04%, respectively. Total phenolic compounds were higher in all solvents extracted from MFRG than those from RG. Major mineral contents (ppm) of MFRG and RG were K by 16,936 and 22,386, Ca by 2,310 and 3,693, Mg by 2,703 and 2,647, respectively. The DPPH radical scavenging activities were higher in all solvents extracted from MFRG than those from RG, however, all these extracts exhibited a relatively low level of radical-scavenging activity compared to the butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT). In antioxidative activities determined by TBA method using linoleic acid peroxidation, 70% methanol extract from MFRG and RG showed the highest antioxidative activity at a concentration of 0.1%. These results may provide the basic data to understand the biological activities of bio-active materials derived from MFRG.
