기공(氣功) 운동이 유방암 절제술 여성의 면역, 맥상파 및 심박변이에 미치는 영향

Objectives The purposes of this study was to develope a Qi gong exercise that suits characteristics of post mastectomy women, and to evaluate the effect of Qi gong exercise on immune response, blood circulation index, pulse wave parameter and heart rate variability. Methods This study was applied to total 35 post mastectomy women, including 17 for experiment group and 18 for control group. The Qi gong exercise was composed of total 24 times of 90 minutes per each time, twice a week, and 12 weeks and it was conducted by the oriental medicine professor who was an expert of Qi gong exercise. Results 1. Two group comparison revealed that the experimental group had significantly improved immune response(p<.021), HR(beats/min)(p<.001), ESV(ml/beat)(p=.038), ESI(ml/beat/m<sup>2</sup>)(p=.040), ECO (L/min)(p=.019), ECI(L/min/m<sup>2</sup>)(p=.023), ECRI(dyne*sec/cm)(p=.015), Left Kwan(div<sup>3</sup>)(p=.021), Right Kwan(div<sup>3</sup>)(p=.038), Mean HRV(cycle/min)(p<.001), SDNN(ms)(p=.043), RMSSD(ms)(p=.040), and TP(log ms2)(p=.039). 2. Two group comparison revealed that the experimental group had significantly decreased ECR (dyne*sec*cm<sup>-5</sup>) (p=.034), Left RAI(p=.044), Right RAI(p=.042), and pNN50(%)(p=.038). Conclusions These results from Qi gong exercise program can be used as basic data for development of health promotion program for Post Mastectomy Women.
사료 내 파프리카 함량에 따른 당년생 및 1년생 비단잉어 (Cyprinus carpio var. koi) 홍백 표피의 체색 변화

This study investigated the effect of dietary paprika on the skin coloration of red- and white-colored fancy carp Cyprinus carpio var. koi, in two age groups: 0-age (7.4±0.1 g/fish) and 1-age (164±2.9 g/fish). Three isonitrogenous diets were formulated to contain 0, 5, and 10% paprika (Con, P5 and P10, respectively). Three replicate groups of 0-age fish and two replicate groups of 1-age fish were fed one of the experimental diets for 9 weeks. Survival, weight gain, and feed efficiency were not significantly affected by the dietary paprika level (P>0.05) at both fish sizes. The dietary paprika level influenced the redness (a*), lightness (L*), and yellowness (b*) of fish skin. The L* value of the skin of the fish fed the P5 and P10 diets tended to decrease with feeding period. The skin a* value of 0-age fish (small) fed the diets containing paprika increased significantly with feeding period and was higher than that of fish fed the control diet after 3 weeks (P<0.05). However, the a* value of 1-age fish (large) fed the diets containing paprika tended to increase slightly with feeding period. At the end of the experiment, the skin total carotenoid level was increased significantly in fish of both sizes fed the P5 and P10 diets compared to fish fed the control diet. Therefore, 5% paprika powder in the diet increases the skin redness of red- and white-colored fancy carp, especially in small fish.

Porcine small intestinal submucosa(SIS) derived from the submucosal layer of porcine intestine, both generate a minimal inflammatory response following implantation and have been approved by the FDA for many types of biomedical applications. Poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid)(PLGA) is a biodegradable synthetic polymer with acceptable mechanical strength and well-controlled degradation rate. Also, it can be easily fabricated into many shapes. In this study, we fabricated natural/synthetic biomaterial hybrid films using 0, 10, 20, 40 and 80 wt% of SIS. Schwann cells(SCs) and olfactory ensheathing cells(OECs) were seeded on SIS/PLGA film and confirmed the effects of adhesion and proliferation on SCs and OECs according to content of SIS. We confirmed that specific 10~20 wt% SIS in SIS/PLGA films was superior to adhesion and proliferation of SCs and OECs and content of SIS such as 40 wt% and 80 wt% could not help cell growth and proliferation.

본 연구는 재난상황에서 물리적 피해뿐만 아니라 정신적인 피해를 겪게 되는 재난 피해자의 정신건강을 증진할 수 있는 방안을 모색하는 것을 목적으로 진행되었다. 즉, 재난관리에서 최근 대두되는공동체 탄력성이 재난피해자가 겪을 수 있는 주요한 정서적 피해인 외상 후 스트레스장애(PTSD)의완화에 영향을 주는 지를 검증하여 재난피해자의 정서적 피해 경감에 기여하고자 한다. 이를 위해국립재난안전연구원에서 실시한 ‘재난피해자 삶의 변화 3차 추적조사(3차년도)’ 자료를 활용하여2012년부터 2017년까지 발생한 자연재난과 사회재난 피해자 2,311명을 최종 분석하였다. 연구의 분석을 위해 SPSS 22.0 프로그램을 사용하였으며 재난피해자의 인구사회학적 특성과 주요변수의 수준을 파악하기 위해 빈도분석 및 기술통계분석을 실시하였다. 또한, 주요 변수들 간의 다중공선성 확인을 위해 피어슨의 상관관계를 실시하였고, 종속변수에 주요한 영향을 줄 수 있는 변수를 통제하여공동체 탄력성이 재난피해자의 PTSD에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위한 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 이를 통해 공동체 탄력성이라는 지역사회차원의 재난관리방안을 제안하고자 한다. The purpose of this study was to find out ways to improve mental health of disaster victims who suffer physical as well as mental damage from disasters. In other words, this study aimed to contribute to reducing emotional damages to disaster victims by verifying whether community resilience, as an emerging topic in disaster management, could mitigate PTSD symptoms of disaster victims. For this purpose, the data of the 3rd Disaster Victims Panel survey conducted by the National Disaster Management Research Institute in Korea were analyzed for 2,311 victims of natural and social disasters occurred in Korea from 2012 to 2017. Frequency and descriptive statistics analysis were conducted to identify the demographic characteristics of the victims as well as the major variables. In addition, a multiple regression analysis was conducted to identify the effect of community resilience on PTSD symptoms of disaster victims, with controlling the variables that could have an impact on the dependent variables. Based on the findings, the study proposed a disaster management plan at the community level using community resilience.
사육 수온에 따른 쏘가리(Siniperca scherzeri) 치어의 성장 및 체조성 변화

This study was conducted to investigate the effects of different water temperatures on growth, survival, biochemical composition, and blood physiological parameters of juvenile mandarin fish, Siniperca scherzeri. Feed-trained juvenile fish were subjected to four water temperatures (20, 23, 26 and 29℃) with two replicate groups. The fish were fed to apparent satiation twice daily using a formulated diet containing 55% crude protein and 6% crude lipid. After the 8-week feeding trial, survival was >96% in all groups. Weight gain and feed efficiency of fish reared at 26 and 29℃ were higher than those reared at 20℃. The protein efficiency ratio, daily feed intake, and whole body proximate composition were not affected by water temperature. These results indicate that a suitable water temperature range for optimal growth and feed efficiency of juvenile mandarin fish is 26-29℃ under these experimental conditions.

This study was to examine the effect of vitality in elderly participants of leisure sport on social support and social intelligence. The results were as follows: First, compared with elderly men, elderly women participated in leisure sport showed high scores on vitality and social supp ort. And compared with 70s, 60s participants in leisure sport showed high scores on vitality and social support. Also, regular participants in leisure sport showed high scores on vitality, social support and social intelligence. Second, vitality of elderly participants in leisure sport influenced positively on social support. Third, vitality of elderly participants in leisure sport influenced positively on social intelligence. These results were discussed based on previous literature and theory.

A methodology to design speed controller for autonomous vehicle is presented in this paper. Most of the vehicle parameters of the autonomous vehicle are unknown. Therefore, the speed controller of the autonomous vehicle should determine the throttle and brake inputs without vehicle parameters to follow the desired speed command. To achieve the control objective, the vehicle model has been simplified and few parameters of the simplified vehicle model have been regulated using an adaptation algorithm. Simulation study has been conducted to evaluate the performance of the proposed controller. Although the vehicle parameters are unknown, the control results show that quite good tracking performance. The results also indicate that the speed controller considerably reduce the effects of model uncertainty using the adaptation algorithm.
