          격조사의 정보와 기계 번역 : 한-영 번역을 중심으로

          Kim, Won Kyoung. 2011. The Case Information Processing and Korean-English Machine Translation. Korean Semantics, 36. This paper investigates the Case Information Processing in Korean and puts this knowledge to practical use of Korean-English Machine Translation. With regard to the Language Universal Categories of Case, Case Information Processing System consists of a Morphological Case Information Processing and a Semantic Case Information Processing. And the System applies to korean inflectional form: 'i/ka(subject case marker)', eul/leul(object case marker)', eui(genitive case marker)' and so on. The results of the Morphological and Semantic Case Information Processing constitute the chain of case analysis information and these results distinguish some noun phrase from the others. This methodology is valuable to Korean-English Machine Translation in process of Natural Language Analysis and Generation.

          골형성유도단백질의 첨가가 ${\Delta}^{12}-PGJ_2$가 유도하는 석회화에 미치는 영향

          Prostaglandin plays a significant role in the local control of bone metabolism associated with periodontal disease. ${\Delta}^{12}-PGJ_2$ is a natural $PGD_2$ metabolite that is formed in vivo in the presence of plasma. It is known for ${\Delta}^{12}-PGJ_2$ to stimulate calcification in osteoblastic cells. Bone morphogenetic protein(BMP) stimulated osteoblastic differentiation in various types of cells and greatly enhanced healing of bony defects. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of rhEMP-2 on ${\Delta}^{12}-PGJ_2$ induced osteoblastic differentiation and mineralization in vitro. A human osteosarcoma cells line Saos-2 were cultured. In the test groups, 10-7M of ${\Delta}^{12}-PGJ_2$ or mixture of 10-8M of ${\Delta}^{12}-PGJ_2$ and 100ng/ml of rhBMP-2 or 100ng/ml of rhEMP-2 were added to culture media. After 1 day, 2 days and 4 days of culture period, the cell number was measured. Alkaline phosphatase activity was measure at 3 days. Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR) was performed to determine the expression of mRNA of bone matrix protein at 8 hours, 1 day and 7 days. The ability to produce mineralized nodules in rat osteoblasts(MC3T3-E1) was evaluated at 21 days. The results were as follows : 1. rhEMP-2 or mixture of rhBMP-2 and ${\Delta}^{12}-PGJ_2$ inhibited cell proliferation of human osteosarcoma cells. 2. rhEMP-2 or mixture of rhBMP-2 and ${\Delta}^{12}-PGJ_2$ stimulated alkaline phosphatase activity significantly higher than ${\Delta}^{12}-PGJ_2$ alone. 3. rhBMP-2 or mixture of rhEMP-2 and ${\Delta}^{12}-PGJ_2$ stimulated mineralization compared to ${\Delta}^{12}-PGJ_2$ alone. 4. mRNA of alkaline phosphatase, BMP-2, cbfa 1, Type I collagen were detected in the group treated with ${\Delta}^{12}-PGJ_2$/rhBMP-2, rhBMP-2 alone, ${\Delta}^{12}-PGJ_2$ alone. These results show that mixture of ${\Delta}^{12}-PGJ_2$ and rhBMP-2 causes more bone formation than ${\Delta}^{12}-PGJ_2$ alone while the bone formation effects of mixture of ${\Delta}^{12}-PGJ_2$ and rhBMP-2 are less than those of rhBMP-2 alone. Further researches would be necessary to clarify the interactions of these agents.

          하수처리장 적용을 위한Semi-카플란 수차가 장착된 마이크로수력발전 시스템

          소수력발전은 하수처리장 에너지 자립을 위한 효과적인 대안이다. 본 연구는 유량변동이 크고 유효낙차가 낮은 중소형하수처리장(기흥레스피아) 적용을 위해 피치조절형 세미카플란(semi-kaplan) 마이크로수력발전의 적용 타당성을 평가하였다. 가변피치 semi-kaplan 수차는 유량조절을 위한 가이드베인은 생략하고 피치조절형 런너를 장착하여 기계적 결함은 줄이면서 유량변동이 큰 처리장에 특화된 기술이다. 마이크로수력발전 시스템은 설계조건(유량 0.35 m3/s, 유효낙차 4.7 m)에서 90.2%의 수차효율 달성이 가능하였고 발전용량은 13.4 kW로 산정되었다. 설비가동률 74%로 가동 시 연간 약 86.8 MWh 에너지 생산을 통해 2.1%의 에너지 자립이 가능하고 이는 연간 49톤의 CO₂ 감축효과와 맞먹는다. 경제성 평가결과 초기 건설공사비가 200,000,000원 이하인 경우에는 내부수익률은 6.1%, 순현가는 15,539,000원, 편익-비용률은 1.08, 투자회수년은 15.5년으로 경제성이 충분한 것으로 나타났다. Small scale hydropower is one of most attractive and cost-effective energy technologies for installation within sewage treatment plants. This study was conducted to evaluate the potential of a semi-kaplan micro-hydropower (MHP) system for application to sewage treatment plants with high flow fluctuations and a low head. The semi-kaplan MHP is equipped with an adjustable runner blade, and is without a guide vane, so as to reduce the incidence of mechanical problems. A MHP rating 13.4 kWp with a semi-kaplan turbine has been considered for Kiheung Respia sewage treatment plant, and this installation is estimated to generate 86.8 MWh of electricity annually, which is enough to supply electricity to over 25 households, and equivalent to an annual reduction of 49 ton CO₂. The semi-kaplan turbine showed a 90.2% energy conversion efficiency at the design flow rate of 0.35 m3/s and net head of 4.7 m, and was adaptable to a wide range of flow fluctuations. Through the MHP operation, approximately 2.1% of total electricity demand of Kiheung Respia sewage treatment plant will be achievable. Based on financial analysis, an exploiting MHP is considered economically acceptable with an internal rate of return of 6.1%, net present value of 15,539,000 Korean Won, benefit- cost ratio of 1.08, and payback year of 15.5, respectively, if initial investment cost is 200,000,000 Korean Won.

          주어의 개념에 대하여

          Language & Information Society 25. Traditionally, Subject and Predicate are two main constituents of the sentence. It has been understood that Predicate says something about Subject. With regard to the concept of Subject, various definitions have existed for a very long time. In Traditional Grammar, Subject is the most prominent overt argument of Predicate. In this way, Subject and Predicate are called ‘onoma’ and ‘rhema’ respectively. In any languages that have case systems, Subject is marked by a specific Case, frequently the Nominative. This paper investigates the concept of Subject, and categorizes the concept by three dimensions as follows: 1. the definition of Subject, 2. the identification of Subject, 3. the verification of Subject. Add to this, this paper deals with the Spec-Head Agreement, L-Language/M-Language, recovering the omitted Subject Case.

          모바일 게임의 사용자 경험의 요소로서 시지각적 속성과 인지적 속성의 상관관계 실증분석

          모바일 게임은 화면을 통해 사용자에게 즐거움을 전달하는 것이기에 플레이하는 동안 가장 큰 역할을 하는 것이 시각적인 부분이다. 또한, 모바일 게임은 간접적인 경험을 통해 사용자에게 즐거움을 준다. 이를 좋은 경험으로 극대화하기 위해 모바일 게임 이용에 대해 알아보았고, 시지각적 속성과 인지적 속성의 중요도와 상관관계에 대해 분석해보았다. 그 결과, 모바일 게임을 주로 이용하는 장소는 집이지만, 다른 장소에서도 많은 이용이 이루어지고 있었다. 또 스마트 폰의 OS를 선택하는데 모바일 게임이 중요한 요인이라고 생각하는 사용자들이 20%나 되었다. 모바일 게임을 선택하는 요인으로는 선호하는 장르, 게임 순위, 지인의 소개 등 본인 또는 타인의 경험이 크게 작용한다고 볼 수 있었다. 모바일 게임의 시지각적 속성은 대부분 높은 점수를 받으며 중요하다는 결과가 나왔다. 시지각적 속성 간의 상관관계를 보면 대부분 밀접한 관계가 있음을 알 수 있기에 각각의 시지각적 속성이 독립적인 것이 아니라 상호 보완적으로 작용한다고 볼 수 있었다. 모바일 게임의 인지적 속성에 대한 중요도는 컨트롤의 편리함이 가장 중요한 것으로 나타났다. 인지적 속성 간의 상관관계를 보면 서로 스토리와 콘텐츠의 다양함, 컨트롤과 적정 난이도, 콘텐츠의 다양함과 게임 플레이 시간 사이에 관계가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 또 인지적 속성 중 스토리, 콘텐츠의 다양함과 시지각적 속성 간의 관계가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 각각의 시지각적 속성도 중요하지만 서로 간의 조형성에 대한 조화도 중요하므로 이를 잘 조절하여 모바일 게임을 제작한다면 사용자들에게 더 좋은 경험을 극대화하여 제공할 수 있을 것이라 본다. It is a visual part that plays the most significant role in playing the mobile game, because it provides the fun to users through the screen. Also, mobile games give users joy through indirect experience. In order to maximize this good experience to the users, the use of mobile games was examined and the relationship between the importance of the visual attributes and cognitive attributes was analyzed. It shows that the place to mostly use mobile games is home, but there are many uses in other places. And 20 percent of users consider mobile games to be an important factor in choosing the OS of the mobile phones. The experiences of the users or others such as a favorite genre, game rankings, and introduction of acquaintances make significant roles in the choice of a mobile game. Also, most of the visual attributes for mobile games are highly rated and it means they are important factors. The correlation between the visual attributes shows that most visual attributes have distinct relationship to others. Therefore, it can be seen that each design attribute acts interactively rather than independently. The importance of the cognitive attributes shows that there are relationships between stories and the diversity of contents, between the diversity of controls and appropriate difficulty levels, and between the diversity of contents and the game playing time. Additionally, it shows that there is a relationship between the visual attributes and the diversity of story and contents among the cognitive attributes. As a result, each design attribute is important, and it is also important to make them something with harmonized and well-regulated formativeness. So, if a mobile game is produced considering the important factors, it will be able to provide the user with better experience to the maximum.

          1. 무기인은 전반적으로 5령 4일째 공히 감소하고 5령 4일째 증가 하였다가 다시 감소하고 연엽구에 가장 많았고 편엽 중엽 혼엽구에서는 별로 큰 차가 없음을 알 수 있었다. 2. 유기인은 5령 1일째부터 5일째까지 계속 증가를 나타냈으나 경엽구 5령 3일째에 증가하고 그 후는 감소하여 5일째에 약간 증가함을 나타내고 중엽구와 혼엽구는 계속 증가함을 알 수 있었다. 3. 총 인을 공히 5령 3일째까지 큰 변동이 없었으나 연엽구와 혼엽구에서는 5령 4일째 가장 많았고 5일째까지 변동이 없었으나 경엽구는 5령 3일 이후 5일에 이르기까지 감소하고 중엽구는 5령 4일째 증가하고 그 후는 감소함 알 수 있었다. 4 병잠에서는 무기인 유기인 총인 다같이 5령 초기부터 감소함을 알 수 있었다. As a result of comparaing contained Phosphorus in silkworm blood with growth of silkworm bod, the following facts have been found according to the respective feeds in the 5th stage of rearing silkworm. 1) Contained Inorganic Phosphorus has more increased in the soft leaves part on the 4th day after 5th stage but no change has been seem in the other parts. 2) Contained organgic phosphorus and total phosphorus has more increased in soft leaves part on the 4th or 5th day after 5th stage and they have more increased according to the growing stage. 3) Contained inorganic phosphorus, organic phosphorus and total phosphorus have decreased in the disease silkworm part according to the growing stage. 4) The increase of contained phosphorus in the silkworm blood has had a close relation with increase of weight of silkworm body.

          한국어 접속사의 설정 기준

          The purpose of this paper is to assert the validity of the Korean conjunction and to examine the characteristics of its category. The system of parts of speech is composed of nine lists in Korean. Among them, the conjunction is a part of speech which is not recognized in Korean, because these vocabularies in Korean language have different characteristics from those of the European Languages. For these reasons, these words have been classified as conjunction adverb in adverbs. However, these words and adverbs behave significantly differently in Korean, therefore have an advantage in establishing a conjunction in Korean. In this discussion, we will distinguish conjunctions and adverbs based on criteria such as function, meaning, response, distribution, combination of research, and possibility of success. The Korean conjunction must be set as a separate part of speech that performs the function of connection, hence the connection word must also be recognized in the Korean sentence component. This explanation can well explain the nature of the words and minimize contradictions in the grammar system.

          생성문법의 정상과학적 측면에 대하여

          This paper researches the status of Generative Grammar, especially in terms of Linguistic Science. For this, this study examines the concept of ‘Normal Science’, and applies this concept to analyze statements of Generative Grammar. Normal science is a concept originated by Thomas Kuhn and elaborated in “The Structure of Scientific Revolutions.”. Factors of Linguistic Science based on the concept of ‘Normal Science’ are summarized as follows: grasping the essence of the object of study, appropriateness of puzzlepuzzle solver, widening the range of puzzle solving, correspondence between theory and practice, and falsification. According to these features, Generative Grammar is not a Normal Science, it is caused by these reasons: In Generative Grammar, object of study is not a linguistic corpus but mind/brain of human, and this grammar has a feature of Deductive Science and Inductive Science at the same time, and it is operated base on the ‘axiomtheorem’ system.
