        종격동 cystic hygroma 1례 보고

        Cystic hygroma is benign overgrowth of the lymphatic vessels and is usually located in the neck, but rare in the mediastinum. This vascular tumor may appear in any portion of mediastinum, but seems to be most common anteriorly. This is a report of one case of congenital mediastinal cystic hygroma in a 25 years old man, especially in the thymic location which was surgically removed successfully with good postoperative result and confirmed histopathologically.

        증식성 위 용종증에서 발생한 동시성 다발 조기 위암

        The authors experienced a case of diffuse gastric polyposis with focal malignant transformation. A 61-year-old male visited this hospital because of epigastric pain. The gastrofibroscopic examination showed numerous polyps in entero-gastric mucosa mainly in the antrum and confirmed malignant change from one of the largest polyps in the antrum in the preious gastrofibroscopic examination dane six years ago. There was no family history of gastrointestinal polyps and the colon of this patient was intact. The total numbers of polyps was numerous, about 300, or more in the gastrectomized specimen. The size of polyps are variable, from less than 1mm to over 10mm, the largest one being 1,2cm * 0.5cm, but most of them were less than 0.3cm. The polyps were seattered in the fundus, cardia, body and antral portion of the stomach, but located mainly in the antrum, about 80% or more. All of the polyps were sessile. Microscopically, focal dysplastic changes and rnalignant changes were found in the superficial layer of the mucosa, which were located in the antrum. The remsining mucosa showed chronic atrophic gastritis associated with intestinal metaplasia, The hyperplastic gastric polyps comprised of appoximatcly 75% of all gastric epitheiial polyps. A coincident gastric carcinoma was repotted in 1.7%-2% patients with hyperplsatic polyps, Carcinoma lesions could be classified as type IIa early gastric cancer. At operation, there were no enlarged regional lymph nodes, and the other intraaMominal organs were intact grossly. There were no metastatic tumors in 35 dissected regional lymph nodes. The D2, total gastrectamy, Roux-En-Y, was performed, and the patient recovered uneventually (Korean J Gastroenterol 1997; 29:274 - 278)

        API X70 및 X80급 라인파이프강의 준정적 및 동적 비틀림 변형 거동

        This study aimed at investigating quasi-static and dynamic torsional deformation behavior of three API X70 and X80 linepipe steels. Quasi-static and dynamic torsional tests were conducted on these steels. having different grain sizes and volume fractions of acicular ferrite and polygonal ferrite, using a torsional Kolsky bar. The test data were then compared via microstructures and adiabatic shear band formation. The dynamic torsional test results indicated that the steels rolled in the single phase region had higher maximum shear stress than the steel rolled in the two phase region, because the microstructures of the steel rolled in the single phase region were composed mainly of acicular ferrites. In the X80 steel rolled in the single phase region. the increased dynamic torsional properties could he explained by a decrease in the overall effective grain size due to the presence of acicular ferrite having smaller effective grain size. The possibility of adiabatic shear hand formation was analyzed from the energy required for void initiation and variation in effective grain size.

        가상현실을 이용한 도시설계 교육효과 연구 - 학습동기 향상을 중심으로 -

        This study explores the effect of urban design education applying virtual reality technology on students’ learning motivation. The empirical study was conducted on 28 students majoring in urban design at a university. The first experimental group of 14 students was taught with a virtual reality application, and the second comparison group of 14 students was taught with a classic education method with drawing and modeling. The results are summarized as follows. First, there was a significant difference in students’ learning motivation between the two groups. Based on the ARCS model, the experimental group showed higher scores in all items including the total score compared to the comparison group, and in particular, the attention and satisfaction factors showed statistically significant differences between the two groups. The students in the experimental group felt great interest in the application of virtual reality in the design processes and were satisfied with sharing on-time opinions with team members. Second, the two groups of students showed differences in what they considered important factors in the district unit plan. The students in the control group chose open space, building facade, and color as crucial factors, but the students in the experimental group prioritized open space along with three-dimensional aspects such road width and building height. Based on these findings, this study suggests that the application of virtual reality in urban design education can be an alternative method in promoting students’ learning motivation.

        한국기업에서의 지식플랫폼 활용에 영향을 미치는 요인과 성과에 대한 연구

        In the current ever-changing environment, firms are struggling to keep their position in the market or to grow in their revenues and profits. Several theories explain why some firms outperform competitors and why others fail to compete in the market. Resource-based view suggests that a firm`s competitive advantage is determined by its ability to obtain and defend resources and capabilities. Among the resources, knowledge is the key resource to obtain and transform other resources. However, knowledge in organizations exists in a variety of forms and resides in various places so that it is hard to utilize the existing knowledge without its integration mechanism. The integration mechanisms enable firms to take unique advantages for governing economic activities and make them different from the others. This study proposes a theoretical model to explore the role of knowledge integration mechanism on team performance and the antecedents to the exploitation of knowledge integration mechanism. To this end, this study takes SK Management System (SKMS) as an archetype of knowledge integration mechanism implemented in SK Group which is one of the biggest business groups in Korea. Focusing on SKMS as a knowledge platform, this study tries to answer the following questions. First, does the exploitation of SKMS positively affect employee commitment and team performance? Second, what are the factors that influence the exploitation of the knowledge integration platform, SKMS? Previous studies on knowledge platform focused on the justification of knowledge platform or the conceptualization of it without empirically investigating the role of the platform. This study proposes and empirically examines a structural model consisting of the antecedents to the exploitation of knowledge platform and the consequence of the exploitation. This study draws on the Adaptive Structuration Theory, the Theory of Technology Assimilation, and knowledge based view of the firm to identify the antecedent factors to the exploitation of a knowledge integration platform, SKMS, and the consequences of the utilization of the knowledge platform. Here, knowledge based view of the firm emphasizes that firms, as the institution for knowledge integration and use, need a solid knowledge integration mechanism, while the Adaptive Structuration Theory, and the Theory of Technology Assimilation explain how the knowledge integration mechanism is accepted and utilized. The proposed research model consists of five antecedents of SKMS exploitation (knowledge embeddedness, task characteristics, organizational environment, team`s internal structure, and management championship), and two consequences of SKMS exploitation (employee commitment and team performance). In this model, SKMS plays a significant role as a knowledge integration mechanism or as a knowledge platform. The survey method was used to empirically test the research model. Based on the team list of SK Group, 400 survey questionnaires were distributed and 231 responses were collected. The results of analysis with PLS method indicate that all the hypotheses except one are statistically significant at p<.05. That is, management championship positively affects knowledge embeddedness and team`s internal structure which in turn influence the exploitation of SKMS. Task characteristics also appear to affect SKMS exploitation which subsequently influences team performance and employee commitment. Organization environment, however, was not significantly associated with SKMS exploitation. This study is expected to contribute to the literature in several ways. First, this study, departing from the previous studies that mostly focused on theoretical justification of knowledge integration platform, identifies the scales to actually measure knowledge integration platform and empirically tests the validity of the proposed research model.         고압 가스 분무법을 이용한 Fe-Hf-B-Nb-P-C 연자성 분말 제조 및 특성 평가

        In this study, ultra-fine soft-magnetic micro-powders are prepared by high-pressure gas atomization of an Fe-based alloy, Fe-Hf-B-Nb-P-C. Spherical powders are successfully obtained by disintegration of the alloy melts under high-pressure He or $N_2$ gas. The mean particle diameter of the obtained powders is $25.7{\mu}m$ and $42.1{\mu}m$ for He and $N_2$ gas, respectively. Their crystallographic structure is confirmed to be amorphous throughout the interior when the particle diameter is less than $45{\mu}m$. The prepared powders show excellent soft magnetic properties with a saturation magnetization of 164.5 emu/g and a coercivity of 9.0 Oe. Finally, a toroidal core is fabricated for measuring the magnetic permeability, and a ${\mu}_r$ of up to 78.5 is obtained. It is strongly believed that soft magnetic powders prepared by gas atomization will be beneficial in the fabrication of high-performance devices, including inductors and motors.

        논문 : 평창지역 천연 활엽수림의 작업방법별 시업전후 임분구조 변화

        본 연구는 강원도 평창군 가리왕산 일대의 천연 활엽수림을 대상으로 작업방법별 시업 전과 시업 후의 임분구조의 변화를 평가함으로써 산림생태계 경영에 필요한 정보를 제공하고자 수행하였다. 이를 위해 30 m×30 m(0.09ha) 크기의 고정표본점을 각 작업방법별로 3반복으로 설치하고 시업 전과 시업 후의 정밀 임분조사를 실시하였다. 이와 같이 조사된 자료에 근거하여 집락도, 흉고직경 변이지수, 수고 변이지수, 그리고 혼효지수의 4가지 임분구조 지수를 추정한 후, 3가지 작업방법에 대한 시업 전과 시업 후의 임분구조 변화를 평가하였다. 본 연구에서는 각 작 업방법별 그리고 시업 전후의 임분구조 변화에 대한 통계검정을 위해 Duncan의 다중검정과 t-검정을 실시하였다. 임분구조 지수를 분석한 결과 작업방법에 관계없이 시업을 통해 임분구조가 개선된 것으로 평가되었다. 또한 시업 전과 시업 후의 임분구조 지수는 통계적인 차이를 보여 각 작업방법별 임분의 공간 구조는 시업을 통해 개선된 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 각 작업방법별 목표 임분형으로 유도하기 위해서는 주기적인 모니터링과 추가적인 시업이 필요하다. The objective of this study was to estimate the changes of stand structure before and after applying the three different silvicultural treatments such as selection cutting system, two-storied system, and shelterwood system. This study has been conducted in the natural deciduous forests in Pyungchang of Gangwon Province, Korea. Three permanent sampling plots of 0.09 ha were established in the forests and the three silvicultural treatments were applied in 2008. For this study, some tree variables were measured in each stand before and after the silvicultural treatments were applied. With these data, stand attributes were estimated in each stand before and after the silvicultural treatments. In this study, four stand structure indices were used to analyze the differences among structures of stands managed by three different silvicultural treatments. Contagion index, DBH-difference index, height-difference index, and mingling index were estimated and compared to analyze the differences of stand structures among the stands before and after silvicultural treatments. Duncan`s multiple range test and t-test were then employed to statistically analyze the difference of stand structure among the stands. The results revealed that all of the stand structure indices seem to be increased after applying the silvicultural treatments. There are significant differences in the stand structure indices between before and after silvicultural treatments for each stand. According to the evaluation of stand structure indices, it was confirmed that spatial structure of the stands was improved by applying the silvicultural treatments. For attaining the specific goal of each stand types acquired by different silvicultural treatments, the frequencies and amounts of additional practices should be decided based on the changes of stand structure as time passed.

        초음파 화학법에 의한 CdSe 나노 입자의 합성

        Cadmium selenide (CdSe) nanoparticles with the diameter of about 3.4nm have been synthesized from the mixed aqueous solution of distilled water and diethanolamine at room temperature. The cadmium chloride ($CdCl_2$), sodium selenosulfate ($Na_2SeSO_3$) were used as the cadmium and selenium source, respectively. The properties of CdSe nanoparticles were characterized by using transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and UV-Vis measurements. CdSe nanoparticles were analyzed to be cubic phase with the absorption excition peaks between 540 and 600 nm. CdSe nanoparticles also showed red-shifted excition peaks with increasing the sonication time. This paper mainly presents the sonication effects on the formation of CdSe nanoparticles prepared from the mixed aqueous solution of distilled water and diethanolamine.

        알루미늄 분말야금부품의 기술동향

        알루미늄 분말야금부품은 철계 분말부품에 비해 가볍고 알루미늄 주조부품에 비해 우수한 기계적 물성을 갖는다. 단, 상대적으로 비싼 가격이 이 부품의 응용을 제약하는 장벽이었으나 최근의 환경과 에너지 문제에 대한 세계적인 관심은 이를 극복할 수 있는 계기를 제공하고 있다. 선진국은 이미 일본을 중심으로 1990년대부터 알루미늄 분말부품에 대한 기술개발을 진행하였고 현재는 다양한 상용 부품을 판매하고 있으며 조만간 그 판매량이 크게 증가할 것으로 예상된다. 이에 이 글에서는 국내 관련 연구자들의 이해를 돕고자 알루미늄 분말야금부품의 국내외 기술개발 동향, 특허 동향, 원재료 동향 등을 분석하여 소개한다.
