천골 및 골반골에 발생한 거대세포종에 대한 동맥 색전술 치료의 효용성 분석

목적: 천골 및 골반골에 발생한 거대세포종에 대한 동맥 색전술의 효용성을 규명하고자 하였다. 대상 및 방법: 1996년 12월부터 2008년 5월까지 연속적 동맥 색전술을 시행한 9예를 대상으로 그 임상 결과 및 동맥 색전술에 대한 거대세포종의 치료 반응성을 후향적으로 분석하였다. 결과: 9예 중 6예에서 거대세포종이 진행되어 연속적 동맥 색전술은 천골 및 골반골 거대세포종 치료에 있어서 효과적인 치료 방법은 아닌 것으로 나타났다. 5예의 경우에서는 수술, 방사선 치료 등의 추가적인 치료를 시행 했음에도 불구하고 거대세포종이 진행되었다. 9예 중 3예에서 거대세포종의 호전 및 완치 소견을 보여, 카이제곱 검정을 통해 이와 관련된 인자들에 대해 분석하였다. 첫 혈관조영술 시행 시 거대세포 종양의 영양 혈관수가 6개 미만인 경우(p=0.048), 측부 순환의 개수가 3개 미만인 경우(p=0.048) 만이 동맥 색전술에 대한 치료 반응성과 연관이 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 첫 동맥 색전술 시행 후 잔존 종양 염색 유무와 반복 시행 횟수는 연관이 없었다. 결론: 천골 및 골반골 거대세포종의 치료에 있어서 연속적 동맥 색전술은 일반적으로 사용될 수 있는 효과적인 치료 방법은 아니나, 첫 혈관 조영술 시행 시 종양의 혈관 분포가 적은 경우에 한해서 시행한 다면 좋은 치료 결과를 기대할 수 있다. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to determine the usefulness of arterial embolization on sacral and pelvic giant cell tumor (GCT). Materials and Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the medical records of 9 patients who had undergone serial arterial embolization between December 1996 and May 2008. We analyzed the clinical outcomes and therapeutic responsiveness of arterial embolization on sacral and pelvic GCT. Results: Six of 9 cases showed progression of disease (PD) status, even if 5 cases showed PD status despite of additional treatments including surgery and radiation, implying that serial arterial embolization on sacral and pelvic GCT is not effective. Three of 9 cases showed stable disease (SD) or continuous disease free (CDF) status and we analyzed associated factors with these good responses for embolization by ${\chi}^2$ test. The number of feeding vessels under six (p=0.048) and the number of collateral arterial supply under three (p=0.048) in the first angiogram showed significant relationships with good response for embolization, while remaining tumor staining by contrast after the first embolization and repeated embolization times were not significant. Conclusion: Although serial arterial embolization is not an effective modality on sacral and pelvic giant cell tumors, it may be a pilot modality under narrow indication of tumors with poor vascularity at first angiogram.

This paper presents the determination method of the hybrid energy storage capacity for compensating the output of wind power when disconnecting from the grid. In the wind power output compensation, a lot of charging and discharging time with lithium-ion battery will be deteriorated the life time. And also, this fluctuation will cause some problems of the power quality and power system stability. To solve these kind of problems, many researchers in the world have been studied with BESS(Battery Energy Storage System) in the wind farm. But, BESS has the limitation of its output during very short term period, this means that it is difficult to compensat the very short term output of wind farm. Using the EDLC (Electric Double Layer Capacitor), it is possible to solve the problem. Installing the battery system in the wind farm, it will be possible to decrease the total capacity of BESS consisting of HESS (Hybrid Energy Storage System). This paper shows simulation results when not only BESS is connected to wind farm but also to HESS. To verify the proposed system, results of computer simulation using PSCAD/EMTDC program with actual output data of wind farms of Jeju Island will be presented.

강원도 정선 지역에서 테일러스가 발달하는 사면의 습윤지수를 산정하여 강우시 한시적으로 형성되는 수계와 테일러스의 관계를 고찰하였고, 습윤지수 도면을 통하여 테일러스 분포 특성을 파악하였다. 또한 테일러스 사면을 안정형 테일러스와 불안정한 테일러스 형태로 구분하여, 역의 크기, 분포, 퇴적 방향 등의 야외 노출 상태를 기재하였다. 테일러스 사면에 대한 낙석시뮬레이션을 통하여 테일러스 사면에서의 낙석방호시설의 적정 설치 능력 및 위치에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. We performed a hydraulic analysis based on the wetness index of talus slopes in Jungsun, Gangwon province. We estimated the relation between the degree of development of the temporary water system, and talus topography and distribution. We also assessed the distribution of talus based on a map of the wetness index. We divided areas of tallus into stable and unstable types, and estimated the size, distribution and shape-preferred orientation of clasts. We performed numerical simulations of rockfall events to assess the optimum location of rockfall barriers upon talus slopes.

Purpose: Determineing the sample size based on a statistical theory is regarded as a quantitative, effective, and rational method, but applying it in practice is difficult. Therefore, we treat a rule for determining the sample size by considering its practical applicability to real datasets. Methods: We examined sampling-based and parameter estimation-based statistical approaches. For the sampling-based approach, we dealt with the statistical theories and derivation processes and examined their interrelationships. For the parameter estimation-based approach, we treated the principle of sample size by considering the precision of the mean and interval estimation. Results: We treated the statistical theories and derivations of the various approaches and dealt with their interrelationships for methods to determine the sample size. Conclusion: From the various reliability test perspectives at the product development stage, the sampling-based approach can be applied to durability, environmental, and lifetime testing, while the parameter estimation-based approach can be used for the performance testing.

In injection molding, location of gates have great influence on the quality of plastic parts. The study is about how shape accuracy can be influenced by Many factors such as, section shape, resin and mold temperature, filling time, etc which affect the quality of injection part during injection molding process. We performed Forming Analysis by differing the location of gate and kinds of runner and we are going to bring out the best forming condition based on the examined result. This paper presents the application of neural network in suggesting the optimized molding conditions for improving the quality of molded parts based on data of FE Analysis carried out through CAE software, Moldflow.
