This study is the machining of fuel supply pipe used in large vessels. The fuel supply pipe of large vessels have effects to reduce engine exhaust because of common rail system and show excellent fuel efficiency so it is in the limelight as a vessel engine of next generation. At present, the shape of fuel supply pipe of common rail used for huge two-stroke & low-speed vessels is like a peanut hole so the second machining is necessary after the first machining. There is high error rate for machining and the materials waste caused by machining error is serious. Also, in this time the request for increasing the length of fuel supply pipe is suggested in the world market, it's judged that current methods will show higher error rate for machining. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to improve the machining process used originally. For that, the system controlling the process was developed as well as surface roughness and straightness which are evaluation items of fuel supply pipe were measured so that improved process can be observed in real time.

This study developed Gear Automatic Design Program that users with the basic knowledge about mechanical engineering can easily model spur gears and helical gears. The Gear Automatic Design Program used Visual LISP which is an user program based on Auto CAD and made it model the gears with involute tooth by the exact mathematic definition. Also, to verify these, the reliability was secured by comparing it with a gear generated in commercial software. And we will develop nitrocarburising process and solve problems which had been caused of SCM440's dimensional changing.

Recently, research has been conducted to develop the ORC (organic Rankine cycle), to recover waste heat from facilities such as industrial plants ultimately to create mechanical or electrical energy. The ORC system consists of a heat exchange, a condenser, a pump and a boiler. In this paper, 84 flow analyses were conducted with 21 cases and three variables, i.e., a number of large wings, a number of small wings, and RPMs. R245fa was used as a refrigerant. The flow cavitation phenomenon was investigated through a flow analysis, and a flow stream analysis was conducted.

In this paper, we design internal space in plunger-type low pressure vacuum injection molding machine from numerical study. And we study characteristic of viscoelastic flow for searching injection molding condition. Then the flow analysis was performed using the CAE S/W. The result shows optimal value of nozzle and hole in injection chamber. And we investigated qualitatively relationship between injection pressure and injection mass flow with variable shear rate

In the present paper, we theoretically analyze the flow of magnetic fluids in a circular pipe with a vertical magnetic field and investigate the magnetic response by the external magnetic field. Theoretical study through the governing equation derived by Siliomis is carried out with numerical analysis by the Gauss Elimination Method. Using polar and magnetic effect parameters, theoretical equations and distributions for the velocity, apparent viscosity as the magnetic response are shown. Especially, in the region of strong magnetic field the specific property is appeared by finding a critical magnetic effect parameter for a polar effect parameter.

Recently, the variation of industry has been changed faster and faster than before. It is using Rapid Prototyping Method to cope with fast change. This technology used to make a prototype, master pattern of manufactured product by vacuum casting, and so on. But this method has errors by contraction as a necessity. this error has been caused because the shape of prototype is smaller than CAD data. So we must solve the problem about precision of product. Therefore in this study, we will reduce the errors like contraction of material by manufacturing of rapid prototype product. Through these courses, we will enhance a precision of product.

In this study, we analyzed about that after design form manufacture master pattern in Rapid Prototyping-RP through design program, processes to manufacture prototype using Vacuum Casting. In Rapid Prototyping-RP, there is an en-or by shrinkage of resin and, in Vacuum Casting, there is an error by shrinkage of silicon. To select condition which shrinkage become the minimum of each process, manufactured prototype after using Full Factorial Design of Design of Experiments, We could confirm shrinkage using reverse engineering and that result came into effect ANOVA 2-way. We applied errors of each process to master pattern, and then presented the method to improve flood control precision of prototype of Vacuum Casting.
