Digital decimation filters are used in various digital signal processing systems using ADCs, including digital communication systems and sensor network systems. When the sampling rate of digital data is reduced, aliasing occurs. So, an anti-aliasing filter is necessary to suppress aliasing before down-sampling the data. Since the anti-aliasing filter has to have a sharp transition band between the passband and the stopband, the order of the filter is very high. However, as the order of the filter increases, the complexity and area of the filter increase, and more power is consumed. Therefore, in this paper, we propose two types of decimation filters, focusing on reducing the area of the hardware. In both cases, the complexity of the circuit is reduced by applying the required down-sampling rate in two times instead of at once. In addition, CIC decimation filters without a multiplier are used as the decimation filter of the first stage. The second stage is implemented using a CIC filter and a down sampler with an anti-aliasing filter, respectively. It is designed with Verilog-HDL and its function and implementation are validated using ModelSim and Quartus, respectively.
한국어 자동 발음열 생성 시스템을 위한 예외 발음 연구

This paper presents a systematic description of exceptional pronunciations for automatic Korean pronunciation generation. An automatic pronunciation generator in Korean is an essential part of a Korean speech recognition system and a TTS (Text-To-Speech) system. It is composed of a set of regular rules and an exceptional pronunciation dictionary. The exceptional pronunciation dictionary is created by extracting the words that have exceptional pronunciations, based on the characteristics of the words of exceptional pronunciation through phonological research and the systematic analysis of the entries of Korean dictionaries. Thus, the method contributes to improve performance of automatic pronunciation generator in Korean as well as the performance of speech recognition system and TTS system in Korean.
전략관계적 접근(Strategic Relational Approach)을 통한 대학 구조개혁 정책 변동 분석

The purpose of this study is to analyze the phenomenon in which the university policy, based reform system based on market, which is dominated by the state in the formation and change process of the university structural reform policy, is paradoxically maintained through a strategy - relational approach. This study examines the structural factors of the structural reform policies of the Korean university through a strategy-relational approach and to identify the mechanism of change process. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, it has an evolutionary nature in which reform is implemented as a historical legacy of previous policies. According to the characteristics and circumstances of each government, the degree of implementation of the reform was different from that of the state - led university structure reform policy, and it was adjusted to the direction of the times environment. Second, strategic choice was determined under the structural context of institutional reform policy and endogenous conditions of institution, resulting in a policy by period. The reform of the university structure in Korea is not based on the autonomous motivation and driving force of the university but rather by the government. Third, the main factors of the implementation of the reform should be conditional on the nature of the reform and the nature of the environment and the regime at the time. In other words, it can be understood that the reform can be promoted if the reform conditions are activated.

The purpose of this study was to develop a conceptual model and design principles for instructional design by utilizing Forum Theater and digital media as an alternative way. Especially this study focuses on the utilizing digital media to minimize difficulties when using FT in schools while still reflecting the school classroom context. This study adopted a design and development research method, and conducted model development research. The model was developed through literature review and expert consultation, and the developed model was later validated through checking for internal validation by expert review, As a result, conceptual model as well as nine principles and twenty three specific guidelines were developed. The models developed from this study can be used to minimize difficulties that may arise when FT is applied in classroom context, in order to support learners’ social and emotional learning as well as cognitive learning. Recommendations for future studies were suggested.

The paper conducted a survey on elderly individuals to examine the effects of two types of news coverage, namely ‘COVID-19 news’ and ‘preventive COVID-19 news’ (positive and negative coverage), on the preventive health behavior in response to COVID-19. Additionally, the study examined whether trust in the government played a mediating role in the relationship between exposure to preventive COVID-19 news and preventive health behavior. The results showed that both ‘COVID-19 news’ and ‘the preventive COVID-19 news(positive vs negative) positively influenced the preventive health behavior of the elderly. he study demonstrated the positive impact of both general COVID-19 news and preventive COVID-19 news on the preventive health behavior of elderly individuals. It also highlighted the mediating role of trust in the government, indicating that trust in government institutions strengthens the link between positive news coverage and the adoption of preventive health behaviors among the elderly.
사전-사후 PPAT 그림검사 변화로 본 초등학교 저학년 빈곤가정 아동의 단기 집단미술치료의 영향

본 연구는 방학기간 동안 초등학교 저학년 빈곤가정 아동들에게 집단미술치료를 제공하고 사전-사후 PPAT(Person Picking an Apple from a Tree: 나무에서 사과따는 사람:이하 PPAT) 그림검사를 통해 그 영향을 확인하고자 하였다. 집단미술치료는 방학기간동안 적절한 교육과 여가활동을 갖기 어려운 저소득층 아동을 위해 복지사업기관의 심리정서지원 사업의 일환으로 제공되었다. 이를 위해 전문 미술치료사들은 선행 연구들을 근거로 단기 집단미술치료를 기획하였으며, 향후 복지기관이 제공하는 방학 프로그램에 미술치료사가 제공하는 집단미술치료가 지속될 수 있는 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 집단미술치료에 총 158명의 아동이 참여하였고, 이중 사전-사후 PPAT 검사에 모두 참여한 아동 110명의 그림에서 분석에 적합하지 않은 그림 자료를 제외하고 총 102명 아동의 그림 자료를 FEATS (Formal Elements Art Therapy Scale: 형식척도)를 통해 분석했다. 집단미술치료는 방학기간의 특성상 학급 당 총 6회기로 한 회기 당 90분씩 2주 동안 집중적으로 제공되었다. 그 결과, 집단미술치료에 참여한 아동들의 PPAT 그림검사 사전-사후 반응에서, FEATS의 14가지 요소 중 사실성, 발달, 문제해결력, 3개 항목에서 통계적으로 유의한 변화를 확인하였다. 이는 집단미술치료가 참여 아동의 인지적 발달과 문제해결력에 긍정적 영향을 주었음을 확인하였다. The purpose of this study was to examine the implications of short-term group art therapy for the early elementary school students from low-income families using PPAT (Person Picking an Apple from a Tree) drawing test. It was specifically designed as a support program for children from low-income families, who had no proper access to educational enrichment opportunities and leisure activities during their summer break. The professional art therapists tried to lay out a basis of stable continuance of the group art therapy as a supporting program of the social welfare organization. Before and after the group art therapy, PPAT drawing test was administered. One hundred fifty-eight children were involved in the summer school, and 110 children participated in both pre- and pro-test of PPAT. After excluding eight children’s drawings due to their unsuitability for analysis, one hundred-two children’s drawings were analyzed by FEATS (Formal Elements Art Therapy Scale). Participants of the short-term intensive group art therapy showed three statistically significant changes out of 14 elements of FEATS in the pre- and post-test PPAT analysis: realism, development level, and problem-solving. The result of the study implied that the short-term intensive group art therapy is significantly effective to promote positive changes in children from low-income families in their cognitive development and problem solving ability.
디지털 기기에서의 그림검사를 위한 Application 개발 연구

본 연구는 디지털기기에서 앱을 활용한 그림검사가 가능한지를 탐색해보고자 게임 중독군을 대상으로 ‘나무에서 사과 따는 사람 그리기(Person Picking an Apple from a Tree: 이하 PPAT)’ 그림 검사를 바탕으로 진단을 확인하여 미술치료에서의 그림검사 앱을 활용할 수 있는 근거를 마련할 수 있는지를 살펴보는데 목적이 있다. PPAT 그림검사는 사람이 사과를 어떤 식으로 따는지 문제해결력을 검증하는데 유용하고 이에 대한 신뢰도, 타당도가 높은 검사이다. 본 연구를 통해 살펴본 결과, 디지털 기기에서 앱을 활용한 PPAT 그림검사의 형식척도(Formal Elements Art Therapy Scale:이하 FEATS) 항목 14개 중 ‘문제해결력’ 항목에서 인터넷 과몰입군이 일반사용자군 보다 낮은 점수를 받았는데, 과몰입군의 경우 사과를 향해 손을 뻗지 않고 있거나, 사과가 떨어지는 그림, 합리적인지지 기반 없이 사과를 따는 방법으로 사과를 따른 모습을 표현했다. 본 연구에서 발견한 내용은 디지털 기기에서 앱을 사용한 PPAT 그림 검사가 본래의 목적인 ‘문제해결력’을 유의미하게 드러내었다는 점은 앞으로 디지털 기기를 활용하여 인터넷 과몰입 대상자들을 위한 심리치료적 개입뿐만 아니라 디지털 기기를 익숙하게 활용하는 사용자들에게는 PPAT 그림검사 앱을 활용할 수 있다는 점에서 연구의 의의가 있다. The purpose of this study was to explore whether PPAT drawing using an application can be developed on digital devices for game addicts. The PPAT drawing test is useful and reliable for verifying problem-solving skills in how people pick apples. As a result of this study, the over-immersion group scored lower than the average user group in the problem Solving category of the PPAT drawing test using the PPAT drawing applicaion on digital devices, and expressed by not reaching for apples, or by picking apples without reasonable support. The findings in this study suggest that the PPAT drawing test application on digital devices has significantly demonstrated its original purpose of problem resolution, as well as future psychotherapeutic interventions for Internet over-immersion subjects as well as users who are familiar with digital devices.
강의평가 결과 분석을 통한 교육의 질 제고 방안 탐색: A대학교 강의평가를 중심으로

The purpose of this study is to explore the way to improve education quality by analyzing course evaluation score. The results of course evaluation can give specific information for developing teaching program, selecting target group, and so on. Research questions are as follows : First, are there any differences in the evaluation scores between groups that divided by position, class size, lecture type? Second, what is the main component of evaluation item affecting recommendation for selecting lecture? Third, what is the main features that can be founded from differences between 10% high score group and 10% low score group? Based on the result, conclusions and suggestions are presented in terms of developing teaching program, institutional and political support, and other consideration. The last part of this study includes limitation and contribution.
sort of와 kind of의 품사분포도와 의미선호도 연구

The primary purpose of the current study is to compare the use of hedging devices sort of and kind of in American and British English, centering on their distribution across different parts of speech and their semantic preferences. For the data collection and analysis, two thousand examples of sort of and kind of were randomly extracted respectively from Corpus of Contemporary American English (COCA) and British National Corpus (BNC). Then, the data collected was analyzed to see if their frequency distribution across parts of speech vary according to the type of hedging device and the type of English. It was found that both kind of and sort of have a strong preference for nouns and verbs both in American and British English in general. However, as for a relative preference, sort of displays a preference for verbs and conjunctions whereas kind of for nouns and adjectives in American English. Meanwhile, in British English, kind of exhibits a strong relative preference for nouns whereas sort of for verbs and the rest of parts of speech. With regards to the semantic preference, it was revealed that sort of is often used with the verbs and adjectives of emotion, whereas no semantic preference was found with kind of.
저소득 빈곤가정 아동의 심리정서지원을 위한 여름학교 집단미술프로그램(Mind Art Program)의 효과

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of group art therapy on the self-esteem and social skill from low-income family in South Korea. For the purpose, the study 3,535 children were recruited nationwide by one of the largest social welfare institutes in Korea from low-income family. The total 2,125 were selected who completed pre and post test after participating 8 sessions of the group art activity program, Mind Art Program(MAP) for two weeks during the summer break in 2015. The Mind Art Program is the program which was designed by art therapists based on the preliminary study and provided for the social welfare institution employees and social workers with the training for the program. About sixty minutes of art therapy were undergone eight times for the group. The study examined the change of self-esteem and social skill before and after the group art activity(MAP). The results are as follows: First, the study found that the self-esteem of children from low-income family significantly increased after the group art activity(MAP). Second, the study revealed a change of social skill after the group art activity(MAP). This paper investigated the effects of group art activity(MAP) on self-esteem and social skill of children from low-income family. Thus, offering this outcome to a group art activity, Mind Art Program, for continuous research development in the field of arts education, creative arts therapies, and social work.
