The status of artificial insemination was surveyed by investigating 20796 heads of adult dairy cattle out of 30464 heads at 1649 dairy farms located Seoul and Gyung-Gi and Chung-Cheong province area, and the results are as follows: 1. There were 286 small farms feeding less than 5 heads occupying 17.3% of total farm number, and 1083 medium sized dairy farms feeding between $6{\sim}20$ heads occupying 65.64% and also 280 large dairy farms feeding more than 21 heads occupying 17.06% of total. 2. Population of cow aging from 2 to 6 years were 87.26% and among 20907 heads of dairy cattles which had calved previously 13196 heads had histories of one to four calving 90.40%. 3. The successful conception rate with first A. I. occupied only 53.43% and 92.4% after third A. I. service. The average A. I. frequency for successful conception per/head was 1.8 times. 4. The breeding status was pregnancy 61.72%, uncertain pregnancy 19.39%, and as physiological vacancy 12.48% and reproductive disorders 10.62%. 5. Among 1264 heads of reproductive disorders 856 heads were clue to ovarian diseases and occupied 68.98% of total disorders and uterus diseases 10.64% and repeat breeders occupied 17.64%.

Measurement of serious leisure is an important issue to researchers in the area of leisure studies. Researchers in disciplines other than sport have attempted to make a case for single-item measures of cognitive and affective dimensions in instances when simplicity, brevity, or global measurement are paramountly important. It was determined that multiple-item scale had the advantage of breadth of measurement and scale, and that single-item scale had advantages of simplicity and brevity or ease of use. The study also examined one of the greatest criticisms of single-item measures and one of the greatest advantages of the multiple-item scale: reliability and concurrent validity. The purpose of this study was to provide leisure studies researcher with a simple and convenient tool for collecting information on serious leisure. This study developed and tested a single-item measures of Gould, Moore, McGuire & Stebbins`s(2009) serious leisure inventory and measure(SLIM), which was originally composed of 72 items to measure 18 different aspects in the SLIM. The results of data analyses suggested that the single item measure fairly represented 18 sub-dimensions of the SLIM. And then, future suggestions and implications for were presented.
왜곡 보정과 지역 이진화를 이용한 RBFNNs 기반 차량 번호판 인식 시스템

In this paper, we propose vehicle license plate recognition system based on Radial Basis Function Neural Networks (RBFNNs) with the use of local binarization functions and canny edge algorithm. In order to detect the area of license plate and also recognize license plate numbers, binary images are generated by using local binarization methods, which consider local brightness, and canny edge detection. The generated binary images provide information related to the size and the position of license plate. Additionally, image warping is used to compensate the distortion of images obtained from the side. After extracting license plate numbers, the dimensionality of number images is reduced through Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and is used as input variables to RBFNNs. Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm is used to optimize a number of essential parameters needed to improve the accuracy of RBFNNs. Those optimized parameters include the number of clusters and the fuzzification coefficient used in the FCM algorithm, and the orders of polynomial of networks. Image data sets are obtained by changing the distance between stationary vehicle and camera and then used to evaluate the performance of the proposed system.

As a result of the third report (Korean J. Ani. Sci., 18(5) : 397∼402, 1976), this experiment was carried out to improve diluent for the preservation of liquid boar semen. This experiment was systematically Conducted ,to find more effective levels of EDTA (2Na, 3Na, 4Na, 4Na.). Only sperm-rich part of the semen collected from I Large-white boar was used. Semen was diltued at the ratio of 1 : 3 and preserved at 8∼15℃ The results were as follows. 1. The following diluent is recommended. dextrose (glucose) … 3.15% potassium sodium tartrate … 0.918% citric acid … 0.025% E.D.T.A (4Na) … 0.15% egg yolk … 3%. +penicillin 1000IU/㎖, streptomycin 1㎎/㎖, Sperm motility of the new diluter for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 days was 73%, 71%, 68%, 66%, 65%, and 63%, respectively. 2. The optimum level of EDTA (2Na) was 0.1% was 0.1% in the presence of 0.25% of sodiumbicarbonate. 3. The optimum Concentration of EDTA (3Na) was 0.2%. 4. It was concluded that the best concentration of EDTA (4Na) was 0.15% added with citric acid 0.025g to diluted 100㎖.
