SHS법에 의한 산화물로부터 Al_2O_3-TiC 복합분말 제조

The experimental results for the synthesis of Al_2O_3-TiC composite powder by SHS are summerized as follows; 1) Adaptable mole ratio for the synthesis of Al_2O_3-TiC composite powder is TiO_2:Al:C=3.0:4.0:2.6∼3.0 mole ratio. 2) Combustion temperature is increased with increasing of aluminum mole ratio and compaction pressure. On the other hand, Propagation rate is increased with increasing of alumnium mole ratio and decrease of compaction pressure. Combustion temperature and propagation rate are not affected by the increase of carbon mole ratio. 3) The synthesized Al_2O_3-TiC composite powder have an oval shape, and the size of particle is increased with increasing of compaction pressure and is about 4∼10 microns. 4) The Al_2O_3-TiC composite powder is higher purity than reactions, because the impurity is evaporated by high temperature reaction.
