        The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between the development of laterality and bilateral motor abilities measured with respect to various rhythm movements in upper extremity of mentally retared children. The development of laterality was measured by a survey of dominace-hand. The bilateral motor abilities were assessed by means of a tentative rhythm beat test of hands. One hundred sixty eighty subjects with special education needs shose age ranged from 7 to 18 years old were used for an experimental group. Fity nine normal children whose age ranged from 3 to 6 years old were also chosen as a control group. The major findings were as follows : (1) The development of lateral dominace-hand in mentally retared children differed from that of normal subjects with an increase in chronological age ; the mean level of the normal children. Though normal children establish a dominance-hand by ths age of years old, meatally retarded children are likely to show 57 percent of normal development at the age of 7 through 9 years old and 65 percent of normal development at the age of 16 through 18 years old. (2) A greater delay in mentally retarded children was found through a rhythm test which was development to assess bilateral motor abilities in upper extremity. A closer relationship betwin chronological age and the development of bilateral motor abilities in mentally retared children was found. (3) In view of these findings, it was indicated that bilateral motor abilities of the retarded and non-retarded children were significantly correlated to the acqusition of dominance-hand.

        블루오션 전략을 적용한 요구공학 프로세스

        According to the change of customer needs, integration with other systems, and the advent of new technology, it is inevitable for the existing system requirements to be requested to redesign. However, there are actually no methodologies and processes to be able to reorganize the existing requirements or integrate a number of requirements different from each other. The traditional requirements processes do not work when solving such problems. Thus, since the existing approaches to develop requirements are not helpful, many traditional requirement engineering processes can not help falling in Red Ocean. In this paper, in order to solve such the problems, we propose a novel requirements engineering process applying Blue ocean strategy which is used to open a non-competition market not discovered yet. Blue Ocean approach is a novel effective method to elicit and build up new requirements from customers. In order to accomplish the strategy, this paper presents a framework and processes to discover new perspectives and analyze the corresponding requirements. In addition, some pieces of case study are presented to introduce how our approach is applied to practical system developments and the evaluation analysis for how valid it is.

        초임계기체에 의한 난휘발성물질의 추출평형의 추산

        임계상태를 벗어난 고압의 기체속에 난휘발성 물질의 용해도는 기체-고체, 또는 기체-액체의 상평형계산에서 추산할 수 있다. 이때 임계점을 벗어난 초임계기체와 난휘발성물질의 혼합물의 상태를 잘 표현할 수 있는 상태방정식이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 비교적 식이 간단하면서 정확도가 우수한 Peng-Robinson의 상태방정식과 Soave에 의하여 수정된 Redlich-Kwong의 상태방정식을 이용하여 난휘발성물질인 안식향산, 나프타렌, 페놀등의 고압기체(탄산가스, 에틸렌등)중 용해도를 계산하는 방법을 제안하였고 기존의 실험데이터와 잘 일치하는지를 검토하였으며, 상태방정식 중의 혼합물에 대한 상호작용계수의 최적치를 구하였고 또한 Enhancement Factor(E)의 온도 및 압력의 의존성을 조사하였다. Enhancement Factor는 압력이 낮을수록 온도에 강한 의존성을 나타내었으며 경험적으로 절대온도의 역수에 관계됨을 알 수 있었다. The solubility of less volatile substances in supercritical fluids can be predicted by thermodynamic relations of solid-gas and liquid-gas equilibrium. For the prediction, it is necessary to utilize the equation of state which can represent accurately the supercritical state of mixture composed of gas and less volatile matter. In present work, the solubility is calculated by using the equations given by Peng-Robinson and Soave that are relatively simple and accurate. It is shown that the observed data to be available in literature may be well correlated by using thermodynamic relationships and the equations of states mentioned above. We present also the values of interaction parameter included in the equations. The effect of enhancement factor (E) on temperature and pressure is discussed. It is empirically known that In E may be correlated to reciprocal of absolute temperature.

        Tissue engineering of heart valves by recellularization of glutaraldehyde-fixed porcine valves using bone marrow-derived cells

        To increase the biocompatibility and durability of glutaraldehyde (GA)-fixed valves, a biological coating with viable endothelial cells (ECs) has been proposed. However, stable EC layers have not been formed successfully on GA-fixed valves due to their inability to repopulate. In this study, to improve cellular adhesion and proliferation, the GA-fixed prostheses were detoxified by treatment with citric acid to remove free aldehyde groups. Canine bone marrow mononuclear cells (MNCs) were differen - tiated into EC-like cells and myofibroblast-like cells in vitro. Detoxified prostheses were seeded and recellularized with differentiated bone marrowderived cells (BMCs) for seven days. Untreated GA-fixed prostheses were used as controls. Cell attachment, proliferation, metabolic activity, and viability were investigated and cell-seeded leaflets were histologically analyzed. On detoxified GA-fixed prostheses, BMC seeding resulted in uninhibited cell proliferation after seven days. In contrast, on untreated GA-fixed prostheses, cell attachment was poor and no viable cells were observed. Positive staining for smooth muscle α-actin, CD31, and proliferating cell nuclear antigen was observed on the luminal side of the detoxified valve leaflets, indicating differentiation and proliferation of the seeded BMCs. These results demonstrate that the treatment of GA-fixed valves with citric acid established a surface more suitable for cellular attachment and proliferation. Engineering heart valves by seeding detoxified GA-fixed biological valve prostheses with BMCs may increase biocompatibility and durability of the prostheses. This method could be utilized as a new approach for the restoration of heart valve structure and function in the treatment of end-stage heart valve disease.

        Parameter characteristics of rail inspection measurement system of HSR-350x

        The Korean Train Express (KTX) has opened to commercial traffic since 2004 at a maximum speed of 300 km/h. As the train goes faster, it is necessary to inspect and maintain the rail regularly to secure the safety and reliability of the high-speed railway. The track irregularities can affect the running behavior of the train, the riding comfort of passengers, and the safety of the running train. To prevent undesired effects of rail irregularities, it is necessary to inspect the status of the rail regularly. Fast and accurate measurement result is the key role of the rail measurement system. The authors contrived the high-speed rail measurement system with a maximum measurement speed of 320 km/h and installed it into HSR-350x. The Korea High-speed Railway (HSR-350x) was developed and is being tested. The track irregularity inspection module for HSR-350x was designed and constructed over 300 km/h. A real test run on the high-speed rail was then performed. In this paper, we introduce the track irregularity inspection system and the measurement system of HSR-350x. A test run to verify the reliability of the system is performed and the result shows good performance of the track inspection measuring system.

        경년열화가 증용량 저이도 송전선의 기계적특성에 미치는 영향 (II)

        Today, restricted energy sources, environmental considerations and the high cost of transporting fuel have limited the number and location of available power plant sites. The pressures resulting from these conditions have tended to require the construction of long, high-capacity, high-voltage power lines. it's used to adapt to STACIR/AW(Super Thermal-resistant Aluminum alloy Conductors, aluminum-clad Invar-Reinforced) conductor for coping with these situations. STACIR/AW conductor was formed by the combination of INVAR/AW as the core for low sag and super thermal-resistant aluminum alloy conductor for current capacity increase. increase of temperature by current capacity and long span lines make the susceptible to the deterioration of thermo-mechanical properties(conductivity, tensile strength, E-modulus and twist property et al). In the present work, changes of thermo-mechanical properties with aging have been studied in STACIR/AW $410 mm^2$ conductor with forms of single wire and strand wire.

        Fatigue properties of INVAR/AW wires have been investigated under the heat exposure in order to ensure stable operation and to estimate life span of their power line. In the case of heat exposure for 10000 hr, fatigue life and limit increased. For further heat exposure, fatigue limit decreased due to the decrease in yield strength. The variation fatigue of strand wire was strongly dependent on its amplitude. Also, cracks in wires of 7 strands were caused by stress concentration at the outer surface and fretting between each wire during vibration.
