        In the 21st century knowledge-and-information-oriented age, individual diversity is emphasized, and information acquisition and consumption levels are heightened. This trend of the times refuses to accept the mass production system centering around the competition in price. In consequence, inevitably does come the age of value created in which quality goods are produced by the multikind and small quantitiy production system. Design along with information and communication as 21st century knowledge-based business is gaining ground as a main factor national competitiveness is dependent upon in this age. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to analyze the process and realities of the establishment of a firm specialized in venture design, both one of knowledge-based business and one factor which decides whether in the knowledge-and-information-oriented age, the millennium, our country will gain ground as one of the leading countries in the world or it will set in the west just like the twilight of the 20th century, and try to pave the way to promote the establishment of design venture required by this age. In a knowledge-based economic society, working methods are more important than working hours, and technical knowledge is more important than general knowledge. Desire for self-achievement is to be stronger than unilateral sense of loyalty to an organization. For the country in which there are many men of great originality who can enhance value added through incessant self-improvement, self-development and self -reformation can secure competitiveness among nations in the upcoming century.

        되메움재 특성을 고려한 전력구 열환경 변화 예측 수치해석모델 개발

        최근 전력구 지중 송전선의 허용 전류용량에 대한 정부규제로 인해 전력구 공사에 현장 되메움재의 열적 거동에 대한 연구가 중요해졌다. 점차 증대되는 고용량 전력공급에 대한 수요와 더불어, 허용 전류용량을 산정하기 위해, 전력 케이블 주변 온도 증가를 유발하는 요인을 예측하고 분석하는 것이 시급하다. 전력구 내부의 과도한 열확산으로 인한 지중 송전선로 주변의 온도 증가는 지중 송전선 자체의 열저항을 증가시켜 절연 파괴 및 열 폭주 현상을 야기한다. 따라서 전력구 설계 및 시공시, 되메움재에 따른 전력구 현장 열거동 메커니즘을 규명하는 것이 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 현장 시험시공을 기반으로, 전력구내부와 주변지반의 온도 변화 및 열저항을 산정하기 위한 수치해석 모델을 개발하였다. 전력구 열거동 파악을 위한 수치해석은 현장시험 시공시 획득한 4개의 다른 종류의 되메움재의 열적 그리고 물리적 물성치를 기반으로 수행되었다. 또한, 실내 시험을 통해 산정한 각 되메움재의 열저항을 수치해석 모델에 입력변수로 적용했다. 전력구 내부에 일정한 열량이 공급될 때, 되메움재의 단위중량, 함수비, 열적 특성 등 여러 변수를 고려한 열거동 메카니즘을 모사할 수 있도록 열거동 수치해석 모델을 구성하고 1년 동안의 수행된 현장계측값과 비교를 통하여 개발된 수치해석 모델을 검증하였다. The thermal analysis of an underground power conduit for electrical cables is essential to determine their current capacity with an increasing number of demands for high-voltage underground cables. The temperature rises around a buried cable, caused by excessive heat dissipation, may increase considerably the thermal resistance of the cables, leading to the danger of "thermal runaway" or damaging to insulators. It is a key design factor to develop the mechanism on thermal behavior of backfilling materials for underground power conduits. With a full-scale field test, a numerical model was developed to estimate the temperature change as well as the thermal resistance existing between an underground power conduit and backfill materials. In comparison with the field test, the numerical model for analyzing thermal behavior depending on density, moisture content and soil constituents is verified by the one-year-long field measurement.

        경제⋅사회지표의 다변량 통계 분석을 활용한 국가 간 산업재해 사고사망 상대수준 비교

        The comparative evaluation of occupational accident fatality rates (OAFRs) of different countries is complicated owing to the differences in their level of socio-economic development. However, such evaluation is necessary to assess the national occupational safety and health system of a country. This study proposes a statistical method to compare the OAFRs of countries taking into consideration the difference in their level of socio-economic development. We first collected data on the socio-economic indicators and OAFRs of 11 countries over a 30-year period. Next, based on literature survey and statistical correlation analysis, we selected the significant independent variables and built multiple linear regression models to predict OAFR. We also determined the groups of countries having heterogeneous relationships between the independent variables and OAFRs, which are represented by the regression models. The proposed method is demonstrated by comparing the OAFR of Korea with the OAFRs of 10 other developed countries.

        국산밀 품질 향상을 위한 지역별 재배 현황 및 원맥 특성 평가 2 : 농가 수집 원맥 특성 평가

        국산밀을 재배하는 전국 175농가를 대상으로 2년 동안 농업형질과 원맥 특성을 조사 한 결과, 간장, 수장, 경수와이형주율은 년차간 차이를 나타내었다. 시비량이 많았던 남부지역에서 재배된 밀의 간장이 중북부 지역 보다 길었으며, 추비시기는 간장에 영향이 없었지만, 3월 중순 이후에늦게 추비를 준 농가의 수장은 다른 농가에 비하여 길었으나 경수는 감소하였다. 추비 횟수는 농업형질에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 농업형질과 마찬가지로 원맥특성도 연차간 변이가 있었으며, 남부지역에서 재배된 밀은중북부지역에서 재배된 밀에 비하여 천립중이 높았으며, 리터중은 낮았으며, 전라북도는 다른 지역에 비하여 낮은 회분 함량과 높은 단백질 함량을 나타냈으며, 전라남도는 다른 지역에 비하여 높은 회분 함량을 나타내었다. 추비시기가 리터중에는 영향을 주었지만 천립중과 회분 및 단백질함량에는 영향을 주지 않았으며, 추비 횟수도 원맥 특성에영향이 없는 것으로 나타났다. 시비량에 따라 간장이 증가하고, 천립중과 단백질 함량이 증가하였으며, 수장과 회분함량은 시비량과 부의 상관을 나타내었다. 단백질 함량은천립중과 정의 상관을 나타내었지만 회분 함량은 천립중 및리터중과 부의 상관을 나타내었다. 간장이 증가할수록 천립중은 증가하고 리터중은 감소하였으며, 수장은 천립중과 부의 상관을 나타내었다. 시비량이 간장 및 원맥 특성에 영향을 미치기 때문에 품종별 용도에 맞는 밀 품종을 재배하기위해서는 적정 시비기술에 대한 농가 지도가 필요하다. 또한, 국산 밀의 생산성 증진과 품질 향상 및 균일성 확보를위해서는 용도별 가공적성에 적합한 품종에 대한 집단 재배단지를 조성하고 철저한 생산 관리와 체계적인 수확 후 관리 구축에 대한 종합적인 고려가 있어야 할 것이다. Agronomic characteristics and grain properties of Korean wheat of 175 farmers in nationwide for two years, 2010/2011 and 2011/2012, were evaluated to support basic data for improving grain quality of Korean wheat and enhancing Korean wheat consumption. Agronomic characteristics, including culm length, spike length, number of spike/m 2 and rate of off-type plant, and grain properties, including 1000 kernel weight, test weight, moisture, ash and protein content, were influenced by year and location. Number of spike/m 2 , test weight, moisture, ash and protein content of wheat cultivated in 2011 were higher than those of 2012 and culm length, spike length, rate of off-type plant and 1000 kernel weight of 2012 were higher than those of 2011. Wheat cultivated in southern part of Korea showed higher culm length and 1000 kernel weight and lower test weight than those of northern part of Korea. Spike length, number of spike/m 2 and test weight were reduced by additional fertilization after mid of March, although there was no significant difference between date of additional fertilization and grain properties. Cultivated wheats in Jeollabuk-do showed lower ash content and higher protein content than those of other provinces and cultivated wheats in Jeollanam-do exhibited higher ash content than that of other provinces. As amount of fertilization increased, culm length, 1000 kernel weight and protein content increased and spike length and ash content were decreased, although date of additional fertilization did not effect on agronomic characteristics and grain properties. Amount of fertilization was positively correlated with 1000 kernel weight and protein content (r = 0.159, P < 0.05 and r = 0.212, P < 0.01, respectively) and was negatively correlated with ash content (r = -0.185, P < 0.05). Thousand kernel weight was negatively correlated with ash content (r = -0.226, P < 0.01) and positively correlated with protein content (r = 0.207, P < 0.01). Ash content increased as test weight and culm length decreased and 1000 kernel weight was influenced by culm and spike length (r = 0.397, P < 0.001 and r = -0.205, P < 0.01, respectively).

        According to the traditional school grammar so far, the degree adverbs as a subcategory of adverbs had been taught that is can modify stative verbs, modifying words or some other adverbs. However, we can easily find some cases that degree adverbs are placed before the action verbs and even the noun. These ones had been treated as exceptional ones in the traditional prescriptive grammar, or coincidental cases happened by the free word order tendency of Korean language. Recently irregular functions in some categories of syntax had been researched out to answer the reason why. The writer knows that some suggestions in this paper can not get to solve problems of the irregularity in some of adverbs fully. These are to light the dark shade of that in a sense. Some result of the analyses are as follows: The degree adverbs play a role as level sign for a semantic feature of the word in a sentence. It is based on the semantic feature of [degreeness].         In this study, conventional heat and mass transfer correlations are examined for the applicability to the prediction of fine particle deposition rate onto rough surfaces. Several well-accepted correlations are compared with particle deposition data. The results show that no correlation is satisfactory. The reason may be attributed to the uncertainty of Schmidt number exponents in the correlations. The Schmidt number ranges in the correlations are not wide enough to cover particle transport. The Schmidt numbers related to the particle transport are on the order of ??. With the proper determination of Schmidt number exponents, heat and mass transfer correlations may be used to predict the fine particle transport.
