정자기장이 MC3T3-E1 세포의 골결절형성에 미치는 영향

정자기장이 MC3T3-E1 세포의 골생성능력에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보기 위하여 MC3T3-E1 세포를 4well세포배양접시에 SmCo5 영구자석을 이용하여 76.4mT의 정자기장을 가한 상태에서 5일, 7일, 11일, 15일 및 21일간 배양한 후 세포의 ALP 활성도를 측정하고 Alizarin red S 염색을 통하여 골결절양상을 관찰하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. ·정자기장을 가한 군중 7일군, 11일군 및 15일 군에서 MC3T3-E1 세포의 ALP활성도가 대조군에 비해 낮게 나타났으며(P<0.01) 그중 11일군에서 가장 억제효과가 많았다. ·Alizarin red S 염색을 통한 골결절 양상은 11군까지는 실험군과 대조군 모두에서 염색양상이 나타나지 않았고 15일 군에서 대조군은 소량의 골결절이 염색되었으며 실험군은 골결절 염색이 되지 않았으며 21일 군에서는 실험군과 대조군 모두에서 골결절이 염색되었으나 대조군에서 약간 더 염색된 양상을 나타내었다. To evaluate the effect of a static magnetic field on the bone producing potential of MC3T3-E1 cells, the alkaline phosphatase activity was measured after the cells having been cultured under 76.4mT static magnetic field using a SmCo5 magnets for 5days, 7days, 11days, 15days and 21 days for each cell culture group. Also, the amount of bone nodule stained with Alizarin red S was observed. The results were as follows . The alkaline phosphatase activity of the 7, 11, and 15 days group among the experimental groups was decreased as compared with the control groups, and the decrease of alkaline phosphatase activity in the 11 days group was the most evident among them. . Any stained bone nodules of both groups had not been observed until the 11th day. The stained bone nodules in the control groups were found on the 15th day, but not in the experimental groups. The stained bone nodules were observed in both groups on the 21st day, but the control groups have more bone nodules than the experimental groups.
Acupuncture effect on Chemotherapy-induced Vomiting and Nausea: A case series

Objectives: We carried out an observational study of the effects of Nei Guan (P6) and Gong Sun (SP4) acupuncture for the treatment of CINV, preparing for further randomized controlled trial study. This is a case series to explore the changes in the incidence of CINV by acupuncture. Methods: Patients reported a Rhodex index indicating the severity of nausea and vomiting and loss of appetite, before acupuncture, after acupuncture and 1-week follow-up examination. Twelve patients with CINV participated in this study. We included patients receiving chemotherapeutic agents that might induce moderate or severe nausea and vomiting. We conducted 5 treatment sessions with P6 and SP4 acupuncture over the course of 5 days. Results: The median Rhodex score were decreased in 5 patients over time, while we observed loss of appetite of 6 patients were improved over time. During the study, the mean of Rhodex of total patients revealed a decrease of Day 1, Day 7, Day 14; 0.74, 0.68, 0.38, respectively, while the mean of loss of appetite showed a decrease of Day 1, Day 7, Day 14; 5.25, 4.08, 4.00, respectively. Conclusions: The study gives a preliminary data that manual acupuncture of P6 and SP4 may reduce the severity of CINV and loss of appetite, and justifies further study.
可姙期 女性의 唾液中 Peroxidase, N-acetyl-β-D-glucosaminidase의 活性度 및 遊離 sialic acid 含量의 週期的 變動

In order to determine the possible effects of hormonal changes on the salivary components, the activities of peroxidase and N-acetyl-β-D-glucosaminidase, and the content of free sialic acid were measured in saliva during menstrual cycles of 11 healthy women. Elevations of salivary peroxidase and N-acetyl-β-D-glucosaminidase activities were found around the time of ovulation in 8 cycling woment : the highest enzymatic activities which were measured 15.38, 14.63 days before menstruation were 118.76±10.01 Unit/min/g of protein, 21.95±1.04 nmol/min/mg of protein in peroxidase and N-acetyl-β-D-glucosaminidase, respectively. These value of highest activity significantly increased, compared to those of menstrual period, 38.24% and 21.48% in peroxidase and N-acetyl-β-D-glucosaminidase, resectively. 교정력에 의한 치은열구 삼출액의 양 및 효소활성의 변동

The aim of this investigation was to study the effect of orthodontic force on the flow of gingiyal crevicular fluid and activities of arylsulfatase and brta-glucuronidase in crevicular fluid. The material consisted of 12 persons between the ages of 13 years and 22 years and all were categorized Class I, 4-4 extraction cases Crevicular fluids were sampled from distal crevis of each canine before treatment (phase 1), after bracketing (phase 2), after application of force(phase 3) and after run out of orthodontic force(phase 4). Crevicular fluid flow did not show any significant changes during the period of treatment. The activities of arylsulfatase increased significantly after setting of orthodontic appliance without application of force, but did not show any significant diference after application of force. The activities of beta-glucuronidase increased significantly after application of orthodontic force and decreased with force deminished. These indiated that beta-glucuronidase was good indicator of bone remodelling resulted from initial orthodontic force.
