The Korean Russians(Goryein) of Yunhaju(Maritime Province of Russia) began after the death of Stalin. From the beginning of the 1990s until after the collapse of the former Soviet Union, they continued their existence after their remigration to ‘the base of their ancestors’, Yunhaju. The cultural identity or homogeneity of the Korean race continues on the basis of their existence because the language and lifestyle customs of native Koreans were accompanied by mass immigration and settlement. However, due to their history of ‘deportation to Central Asia followed by the remigration to Russia’, when comparing the folk culture that is being transmitted by Russian Koreans of Central Asia or Koreans of Russia Sakhalin, disconnection and modification is relatively broad. Through the results obtained by the field survey in terms of transmission, modification, disconnection and restoration, the summarized information is as follows. Ancient forms of Korean folk culture that is being precisely transmitted include fasting, prohibited behavior of mothers, ritual days etc. Ancient forms of modified Korean folk culture that is being transmitted include Lunar New Year`s Day, Dano, memorial services for ancestors, special dishes and food preservation, chil sung(七星) and sung ju(成主, 成造). Looking directly at reality, now we should not only pay attention to the fact that Korean Russians are living far away, or the fact that they are treasuring their painful past. However, in an objective point of view, government-led support and interest are required for substantial understanding and systematic preservation of folk culture as well as its succession.

지역설화의 애니메이션화 성과와 문제점

2000년대 중반부터 지역설화를 문자 텍스트로 서비스하는 단순한 차원에서 벗어나, 수용자의 지역설화에 대한 접근과 이해를 높이기 위해 애니메이션으로 제작, 서비스하고 있는 지방자치단체가 늘고 있다. 2012년 9월을 기준으로, 전체 12개 시·군에서 60여 편의 애니메이션을 2D 또는 3D로 제작하여 서비스하고 있는데, 완성도나 차별성 측면에서 차이가 있기는 하지만, 그 자체가 지방자치단체의 지역설화에 대한 관심과 선양 의지의 결과라고 할 수 있다. 그러나 현실에서는 지역설화의 애니메이션화가 순기능적인 차원에서만 이루어지지는 않는다. 어느 지방자치단체는 농특산품의 홍보와 판매를 위해 지역설화의 원형성을 파괴하여 그 속에 내재되어 있는 역사·문화적 개성을 날조하고 있다. 또 어느 지방자치단체는 광역자치단체의 그것을 모델로 유사한 애니메이션을 무비판적으로 제작하여 문제점마저 답습하고 있다. 지방자치단체에서 제작, 서비스하고 있는 지역설화의 애니메이션화 성과와 문제점을 현 단계에서 반드시 중간 점검할 필요가 있다. 지금까지 지역설화의 애니메이션화 성과를 확인하고, 동시에 문제점을 점검하여 대안을 제시할 때라야 보다 올바른 활성화를 기대할 수 있기 때문이다. 지역설화의 애니메이션화를 통해 더욱 다양한 계층에게 지역의 역사와 문화 그리고 인물을 소개하고, 이로써 지역의 고유한 이미지를 구축하고자 한다면, 지방자치단체간 유사한 형태의 제작이라든가, 문제점마저 답습하는 형태의 제작은 지양해야 한다. 제작 기술의 숙련화, 정밀화와 함께 애니메이션 스토리텔링의 숙련화, 정밀화를 기하기 위해서, 지방자치단체는 관계 전문기관과 공조 체제를 유지하며 장?단기 기획을 수립해야 한다. 새로운 미디어 환경과 콘텐츠의 범람 속에서도, 지역설화의 애니메이션화를 통해 지방자치단체의 문화경쟁력을 확보할 수 있을 것이다. 벽사치병의 전통과 문화콘텐츠 가능성

본 연구는 ‘하급문화’ 또는 ‘천민문화’로 치부되었던 한국무속의 한 맥락으로서 ‘벽사치병(邪治病)’의 역사문화적 전통을 통시적으로 추적하고, 이를 통해 새로이 밝혀낸 문화원형을 문화산업과 접목시킴으로써 벽사치병의 문화콘텐츠 가능성을 진단하는 작업이다. 여기서 벽사치병이란 병의 원인을 사물(邪物)로 간주하고, 그것을 주술로써 퇴치하여 치병의 효과를 거두는 행위와 물질 전반을 일컫는다. 관련한 자료를 통해 벽사치병의 전통을 삼국시대로 소급할 수 있으며, 오늘날에는 충청도 일원의 병굿에서 벽사치병의 흔적을 발견할 수 있다. 삼국시대에는 유학파 밀교승(密敎僧)들이, 고려시대부터 20세기 초반에는 맹승(盲僧)들이 벽사치병의 주체로서 활약했으며, 오늘날에는 법사들이 주체로서 활약하고 있다. 벽사치병의 전통[전승]은 문화산업의 측면에서 ‘독창성’과 ‘희소성’의 전략으로 세계시장의 진입이 용이하다. One Sourse-Multi Use의 ‘다양성’이 내재되어 있기 때문에 문화산업의 제 분야에서 응용이 가능하며, 각계 계층의 소비자 확보가 가능하다. 기본적으로는 시나리오, 캐릭터, 모바일 기반 등의 문화산업 분야에서 적극적인 활용을 기대할 수 있다. 이를 전제로, 벽사치병의 행위전승과 관련해서 신라하대부터 중세 이후까지 활동했던 맹승의 주술적 행적을 통한 문화콘텐츠의 가능성을 엿볼 수 있다. 한국적인 소재로서 맹승의 행적을 중심으로 한 행위전승에는 ‘독창성’과 ‘희소성’이 내재되어 있을 뿐만 아니라, 지난 우리의 역사와 문화에 대한 호기심을 유발할 수 있는 ‘진지성’이 내재되어 있다. 한편 물질전승과 관련해서는 몬스터 이미지의 원천 자료로서 『옥추보경(玉樞寶經)』이 전승되고 있다는 사실에 주목할 필요가 있다. 이 자료는 벽사(邪) 제1경으로 손꼽히는 무경(巫經)으로서 경문과 함께 변상도(變相圖)가 수록되어 있다. 변상도는 잡귀나 잡신을 몰아내는 신격으로서 신장(神將)과 그 성소(聖所)가 잘 형상화되어 있다. 따라서 현대적인 감각의 몬스터 캐릭터로 충분히 살려낼 수 있다. 또한 벽사치병과 관련한 문헌상의 부적 및 현재 전승되고 있는 부적의 문양을 원형의 이미지로 받아들일 필요가 있다. 특히 병의 증상이나 병인의 성향에 부합하는 다양한 문양의 설경(說經)이 전승되고 있기 때문에 환자의 증상에 따른 ‘맞춤형 부적’의 제작이 가능하다. 산학협동의 피드백(feed-back)이 적절하게 이루어진다면, 벽사치병의 전통[전승]을 토대로 한국적인 문화상품을 충분히 개발할 수 있을 것으로 믿는다.
