        원전기기의 상태 감시 및 진단 기술

        The interest in monitoring and diagnosing abnormal conditions in nuclear power plants has increased since the Fukushima accident. The Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute has been developing technology for the monitoring and diagnosis of the mechanical components of nuclear power plants. Technology for monitoring the structural integrity of the nuclear steam-supply system has been a focus since the 1990s. Researchers have also developed technology to monitor and control abnormal vibrations of piping and rotating machinery, along with technology to detect leaks using both visual and acoustic signals. Research on detecting leaks in buried pipe and monitoring pipe-wall thinning is also being conducted. The coming technologies of the fourth industrial revolution will have integrated safety systems to improve the reliability of monitoring/diagnosis technologies. 후쿠시마사고 이후, 경미한 고장이 대형사고로 확대되는 것을 예방하기 위한 원전기기 상태 감시 및 진단 기술에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있으며, 한국원자력연구원 기계‧구조안전연구부에서는 원전기기 상태 감시 및 진단 기술을 지속적으로 개발해오고 있다. 1990년대부터 원자로계통의 구조건전성을 감시 및 진단하는 원자로계통 구조건전성 감시기술에 대한 연구를 수행하였으며, 배관계 및 회전체의 고진동과 이상진동을 진단 및 제어하는 기술, 영상∙음향신호를 이용하여 배관을 포함한 설비의 누출을 감시하는 기술, 영상을 이용한 배관진동감시기술을 연구하고 있다. 또한 플랜트설비의 노후화에 따라서 사회적관심이 높아지고 있는 매설배관누설탐지기술과 배관감육감시기술을 중점적으로 연구하고 있다. 향후 안전성 강화를 위하여 4차산업혁명기술을 안전기술에 접목하여 기존 감시사각지대를 해소하고, 머신러닝기술을 활용하여 진단신뢰도를 향상시키기 위한 연구를 지속적으로 수행하고자 한다.

      • 추진시스템 모델 기반 무인항공기 상태감시 및 고장진단

        본 논문은 무인항공기 추진시스템 모델 기반 상태 감시 및 고장 진단 방법을 제안한다. 고장 진단 모델은 멀티 로터 형 무인항공기 추진시스템과 고장계통도를 통해 생성한다. 진단을 위해 수집되는 센서는 각 센서별 고유특성을 고려하여 고장을 판단할 수 있는 정량화 된 지수를 계산한다. 중앙통제시스템에서 각 센서별로 계산된 정량화 된 지수를 이용하여 가중 조합으로 추진시스템 종합 상태 지수를 정의하고 무인항공기 상태 감시를 실시간으로 진행한다. 무엇보다 이력정보를 활용한 Trend 이상 검출이 가능하여 무인항공기 고장을 사전에 예측할 수 있다. In this paper, the propulsion system model of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV) based state monitoring and fault diagnosis method is proposed. The fault diagnosis model is designed using the propulsion system and fault flow chart of multi rotor typed UAV. Sensor information related the fault diagnosis model is collected and the standardized index for each sensor of the propulsion system is computed by considering sensor characteristics. The total state index is defined by summation with weighted standardized state index for each sensor and realtime state monitoring is performed. Most of all, the fault of UAV is predicted by detecting of abnormal trend using historical data.

        산업용 터보기기 결함 진단을 위한 복합적 데이터베이스 구조의 퍼지 전문가 시스템

        This paper suggests a fuzzy expert system for fault diagnosis of rotating machinery, based on modulated databases. In the proposed system, alarm and trip levels are set based on ISO, considering operating condition, machinery type and maintenance history. Input signals for diagnosis, such as sub-and super-harmonic components of vibration and mean value, are normalized from 0 to 1 under the threshold level and otherwise equal to one so that chronic faults slightly below the threshold level can be monitored. The database for diagnosis consists of two modules: the well-known Sohre's chart module and if-then type rules. The Sohre's chart is utilized for the most common problems of high-speed turbomachinery, while the rule-based module, which was collected from many papers and reports, is for diagnosing peculiar faults according to the type of machinery. To infer the results from two modules, a fuzzy operation of Yager sum was adopted. Using a simulator constructed in laboratory, experimental verification was performed for the cases of unbalance and resonance which were intended. The experimental results show that the proposed fuzzy expert system has feasibility in practical diagnosis of rotating machinery.

      • 원전 온라인 모니터링 시스템 개발 경험으로부터의 교훈

        On-line monitoring system is utilized for improving the plant operation reliability in the plant fleet such as fossil power plants, aircraft industry and nuclear power plants. A development project of online monitoring system has been recently carried out for updating component and system’s reliability in domestic nuclear power plant. In this paper, the development status of a centralized online monitoring system, its named CMD(Centralized Monitoring and Diagnosis) center, was introduced shortly. Lesson learned from development and application process also was shown. We would like to communicate with researchers and engineers concerning to online monitoring studies through the lessons learned from our development and application study. The stakeholder in online monitoring research would go forward to the advanced engineering goal when all parts may communicate with each others based on the appropriate role of industrial-educational relationship, the mutual comprehension of application barrier and the co-ownership for technical basis. Through all members such as researchers, application engineers and operator for online monitoring system have to get mutual comprehension and active communication, the developed and applied techniques of online monitoring would be improved and advanced to the high level with reliability of components and systems in nuclear power plants.

      • 액체로켓엔진 건전도 감시/관리 (Health Monitoring/Management) 기법의 최신 동향

        액체로켓엔진의 건전성 모니터링 및 관리기법에 관련된 주로 최근 10여년 간의 문헌을 조사하여 그 내용을 정리하였다. 액체로켓엔진의 여러 구성품 중 특히 터보펌프가 액체로켓엔진시스템의 건전성에 특히 중요하며, 주로 가속도 센서와 변위 센서를 이용한 진동 데이터로 터보펌프의 건전성이 평가되었다. 액체로켓엔진 건전성 관련기법의 전체적인 경향은 가스터빈엔진으로부터 유래된 통합 시스템 건전성 관리의 방향으로 나아가는 것으로 판단되며, 그 중의 핵심기술은 결함 인지 및 진단 알고리즘이다. 그리고, 이 결함 인지 및 진단 알고리즘은 단독 개념이 아니라 통합 시스템 건전성 개념 아래에서 개발되고 정립되어야 한다. In this paper, literature survey results are presented for the liquid rocket engine health monitoring/management methods. Among various liquid rocket engine subsystems, turbopump unit is important for the engine health. Usually vibration data form accelerometer and proximeters are used for turbopump health monitoring. Overall trends of the liquid rocket engine health related methods seem to be towards integrated system health management of which concept from gas turbine engine. The core technology of such system health management is the fault detection & diagnosis methods that should be developed and completed in the framework of the integrated system health management.

      • 지적센싱시스템을 이용한 기계가공프로세스의 감시에 관한 연구

        This paper presents methodology of machining process monitoring using intelligent sensing system. Unmanned machining is an elusive goal that cannot be met without significant advances in machine monitoring and diagnostics. For achieving intelligent manufacturing system, lots of technology fields, ie. sensor, signal processing, monitoring, diagnosis, adaptive control, must be developed. Some useful extracted features from sensor signals are used to recognize abnormal state of process or to give input feature of an neural network to classify and detect process defects. Multui-sensor and sensor-fusion technology creates reliable monitoring results for a wide range of materials and machining conditions. Development of intelligent sensing system promises a new era of intelligent manufacturing system.

        분기기의 상태 진단 및 감시를 위한 전기선로전환기의 전환전류 및 전환시간 분석

        The operation of turnouts is based on the switching power supplied by the electric point machine: proper switching power and switching time must be maintained for safe switching. When switchover of a turnout is completed, the adhesion and locking operation of the turnout is realized for safe train operation, and this is constantly monitored through an adhesion detector or locking device. However, aging of turnouts, roadbed condition with turnout installation, and the entry of foreign substances between the base rail and the tongue rail of turnouts can cause abnormal operation of the electrical point machine, which ultimately affects the switching current and switching time. This paper reviewed a method of diagnosing and monitoring the condition of turnouts by utilizing the switching current and switching time of the electrical point machine. The related review results were used as an example of an NS-AM electric point machine installed on a conventional operating line.

        The safety and trustworthiness of emergency diesel generator is extremely important in urgent situations. and the lack in any of these characteristics may result in a large accident. In case of Wol-sung nuclear power plant. only simple warning system could observe the status and function of engines. Therefore. systematic. comprehensive supervision and diagnosis system is needed in order to provide appropriate direction to respective person in duty when engine malfunctions.

        머시닝센터 주축 고장예측에 관한 연구

        Main Spindle System has effect on performance of machine tools and working quality as well as is required of high reliability. Especially, it takes great importance in producing automobiles which includes a large number of working processes. However, main spindle unit in Machine tools are often cases where damage occurs do not meet the design life due to driving in harsh environments. This is when excessive maintenance and repair of machine tools or for damage stability has resulted in huge economic losses. Therefore, this studying propose a method of accelerated life test for diagnosing and prognosis the state of life assessment main spindle system. Time status monitoring of diagnostic data - through the analysis of the frequency band signals were carried out inside the main spindle bearing condition monitoring and fault diagnosis.
