      • VRSA에 대한 항생물질을 생산하는 방선균의 분리

        본 연구가 VRSA에 대한 신규 항생물질 생산 균주를 얻기 위하여 실시하였다. 국내외에 채취한 토양시료에서 분리한 방선균 중, 임상분리 VRSA와 돌연변이 유발 VRSA에 대해 항균성을 나타내는 JY-24를 선별하였다. 선발 균주는 원통형의 포자 모양을 갖고 있으며, Bennett's 배지에 배양시 aerial mycelium color는 흰색을 나타냈으며, reverse side color는 대체로 노란색을 나타내었다. 항균물질 생산을 위한 탄소원으로는 fructose, mannose, 질소원으로는 yeast extract가 가장 우수하였으며 glucose의 첨가로 항균 물질 생산성이 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 최적 초기 pH는 pH 7로 나타났으며, 28 ℃, 37℃, 45 ℃의 온도에서 균이 성장하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 배양기간에 따라 항균물질 생산성을 조사한 결과, 임상분리 균주에 대해 5일 배양 시 가장 높았으나, 3일 배양과 7일 배양 시 동일한 생산성을 나타내 생산속도가 빠르며, 안정한 물질인 것이 파악되었다. 향후 균주동정 및 항균물질 정제에 관한 연구를 수행하고자 한다. An antibiotic substance producing strain JY-24, effective to the VRSA (Vancomycin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus), was isolated from soil. The spore chain of JY-24 was cylindrical, and its sulface was smooth. The aerial mass color of the strain was white, and its reverse side color was yellow. The strain did not produce soluble pigment. For the production antibiotics, fructose, mannose and yeast extract were favorable as carbon and nitrogen sources. Optimal initial pH for the production of the antibiotic was pH 7. Accumulation of the antibiotic in the culture broth reached at maximal level after 5 days cultivation in Bennett's medium.

        Silicoater technique을 이용한 veneered stainless steel crown 수복의 임상적 평가

        광법위한 치질파괴가 있는 상악유전치를 갖는 소아에서 silicoater technique에 의한 veneered stainless steel crown으로 수복 후 3∼12개월 동안 주기적 검사와 수복물의 평가 결과, 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 행동조절이 어려운 소아에서 chair time을 감소시킴으로써 행동조절에 도움을 주었다. 2. 유지력,내구성,심미성이 우수하였으므로 유전치부의 광법위한 치질손상시 유용한 수복방법이다. Restoration of severly carious, malformed or traumatically fractured primary incisors is one of the most difficult challenges in restorative dental care for preschloers. In restoring primary anterior teeth, four types of complete coverage crowns have been attempted over the years. Stainless steel crowns, open-faced stainless steel crowns, acid-etched crowns(strip crowns), and preformed polycarbonate crowns have been the choeces. While these restorations have beem accepatable for many patients, they all have very distinct limitations. The ideal full coronal restoration for a primary incisor requires durability, retention, and esthetics. This paper reported veneered stainless steel crown restoration of primary anterior teeth by silicoacter technique. Veneered stainless steel crown restoration by silicoater technique is considered to be a durable, retentive, and esthetic restoration.

      • Organoclay‐assisted interfacial polymerization for microfluidic production of monodisperse PEG‐microdroplets and in situ encapsulation of <i>E. coli</i>

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P><P>We developed a novel one‐pot synthetic strategy for preparing monodisperse polyethylene glycol diacrylate (PEGDA) microdroplets via organoclay‐assisted interfacial polymerization approach for <I>Escherichia coli</I> encapsulation. Based on the mechanism of spontaneous and rapid polymerization of PEGDA precursor solution with Mg‐organoclay, the prepared PEGDA microdroplets have uniform size and fine round shape, with size range of 74–118 µm. The size of microdroplets can be controlled through the changing continuous phase flow rate. Organoclay‐assisted polymerization method provides a unique environment to produce non‐toxic ways of fabricating microorganism encapsulated microdroplets and to prohibit microdroplets merge during the processes. Furthermore, we successfully carried out to entrap <I>E. coli</I> inside of the PEGDA microdroplets. <I>E. coli</I> expressing a green fluorescent protein shows a good viability inside the PEGDA microdroplets. The in situ microfluidic synthetic method provides a novel approach for the preparation of monodisperse PEGDA microdroplets via a one‐pot route. Biotechnol.         경제형 호텔의 서비스품질이 고객만족을 매개로 재방문의도에 미치는 영향 - 중국 Home Inn을 대상으로

        Purpose: This research is the impact of service quality of Economy Hotels on customer satisfaction and Re-visit Intention in China. It reviews the empirical theories about Economy Hotels at home and abroad, based on SERVPERF, combines with the actual situation of China's Economy Hotels, and then constructs based on the research results at home and abroad. In the subfactor of service quality, "recovery" is added, and the relationship model between the service quality of Economy Hotel, customer satisfaction and Re-visit Intention is designed, in which the mediated effect of "customer satisfaction" between the service quality’s subfactor and Re-visit Intentio is explored. Methods: 334 questionnaires were distributed to the check-in guests of three Home Inns in China's first-tier cities (ShangHai,BeiJing,ShenZhen), of which 300 were valid for data analysis. Result: The data analysis results show that the Economy Hotels’ subfactor of service quality have a positive impact on customer satisfaction and Re-visit Intention, and customer satisfaction also plays an mediated effect. (partial mediation: tangible, reliability, recovery; full mediation: responsiveness, assurance, empathy) Conclusion: The research puts forward the enlightenment points for the development of Economic Hotels through the differences in the development emphasis and service quality between Economic hotels and other types of hotels, so as to improve the satisfaction and market competitiveness of China's Economic hotels through the research results.

        간암 수술 환자의 감염에 있어 Cefotetan의 임상적 치험

        Cefotetan is a newly developed third generation cephalosporin which is widely used to the surgical patients and reveal resistance to B-lactamase, but reports of side effects such as hypoprothrombinemia or immune hemolytic anemia exist. Total 390 patients were selected who underwent surgery due to hepatic malignancy. Among them 40 patients were proved to have infection of specific species microbiologically. 191 patients were treated with cefotetan, the rest of 199 patients were not treated with cefortetan. 1. The duration of fever is 5.4 day in average in cefotetan group, 5.9 day in non-cefotetan group. 2. Number of fever is l. 4 in average in cefotetan group, 1. 5 in non-cefotetan group. 3. 58 patients (30.4%) developed clinical infection in cefotetan group, 75 patients (35. 7%) in non-cefotetan group. 4. Clinical effects of treatment were divided as exellent, good, poor. The numbers of patients in series are 19(32. 7%), 32(55. 2%), 7(12. 1%) in cefotetan group, 21(29. 6%), 36(50. 7%), 14(19. 7%) in non-cefotetan group. 5. Microbiological effects of treatment were divided as negative conversion, decrease, miscellaneous. Th.e number of patients in series are 6(33.3%), 8(44.5%), 4(22.2%) in cefotetan group, 5(22.7%), 10(45.5%), 7(31.8%) in non-cefotetan group. 6. Number of clinical bleeding is 14(7.3%) in cefotetan group, 17(8.5%) in non- cefotetan group. 7. Laboratory tests of bleeding tendency were no so different between two groups. In conclusion, antibiotic treatment with cefotetan is effective antimicrobial therapy to the surgical patients with hepatic malignacy and there would be less side effects as reported in our study.

        We present the case of a 9-year-old boy with a non-germinomatous germ cell tumor (NGGCT) in the pineal gland that exhibited a fulminant course following chemo- and radiotherapy. After the detection of the tiny cerebellar enhancing nodule at the end of chemo- and radiotherapy, tumor seeding progressed rapidly into the entire cisternal space. We herein report a rare case of NGGCT with fulminant clinical course of concomitant cerebellar seeding, with review of literature.

        A novel buffer management scheme based on particle swarm optimization for SSD

        <P>As flash memory becomes popular, flash memory-based solid-state drive (SSD) has been the major storage device. SSD has numerous merits such as high I/O speed, low energy consumption, strong shock resistance and small form factor. Meanwhile, some shortcomings still exist including erase-before-write and different cost for read, write and erase operation. Aiming at efficient buffer management of SSD, this paper proposes a novel approach based on particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm. The PSO algorithm is used to estimate the Predict Hot Fitness value of each logical page in the buffer to correctly identify them either as hot or cold by properly reflecting the spatial and temporal locality. The pages predicted as hot are kept in the buffer to maximize the hit ratio and utilization of the SSD buffer. Simulation with real workload shows that the proposed scheme significantly outperforms the representative SSD buffer management schemes in terms of hit ratio and throughput.</P>

      • Topology optimization of electromagnetic systems considering magnetization direction

        The topology optimization of electromagnetic (EM) systems considering the effect of the magnetization direction in the magnet is investigated using the finite element method. The density method is used for topology optimization and continuum design sensitivity analysis is used for the sensitivity of EM systems. Also ANSYS is used for analysis. The force of a magnet is divided into two components of x and y direction in the rectangular coordinates. And the topology optimization of a c-core and a brushless dc motor are obtained.
