Abstract: In organ transplant patients, the opportunity of fungi infections such as invasive aspergillosis increase by use of immunosuppresant drugs and voriconazole is recommended as primary treatment drug. When voriconazole is administered with cyclosporine(CsA) or tacrolimus(FK506), caution about increment of blood CsA or FK506 concentrations that caused by the change of CYP3A4 activity is required but few domestic cases of interaction were reported yet, The purpose of this study was to assess the effect of voriconazole on the blood CsA or FK506 concentrations in transplant recipients and the factors of recipients that have an effect on the results. 25 transplant recipients who were administered voriconazole with CsA or FK506 from January 1 of 2006 to August 17 of 2008 in Asan Medical Center were objects (12 patients on CsA coadministration arm - 9 males, 3 females; 41~62years;2 liver, 2 kidney, 3 bone marrow, 5 heart transplant recipients, and 13 on FK506 coadministration arm - 7 males, 6 females;26~65years; 10 liver, 2 kidney, 1 heart transplant recipients). Blood CsA or FK506 concentrations before and after coadministration of voriconazole, and maximum concentration in one month from the first day of coadministration were monitored retrospectively. In most cases CsA or FK506 were administered as recommended doses regardless of coadministration of voriconazole, and blood concentration increased from 239.42±126. 77ng/ml to maximum 411.92±225. 76ng/ml in CsA coadministration arm(p=0.003), and from 7.72±2.79ng/ml to maximum 19.16±9.35ng/ml in FK506 coadministration arm(p=0.003). Gender, age, and the kind of transplant organ did not affect to the change of blood concentration in both two arms. In consequences, administration of voriconazole could affect on the blood CsA or FK506 concentration, and in cases of administra tion of voriconazole in transplant recipients treated with CsA or FK506, close monitoring and dose adjustment is needed.

The objectives this study are as follows; First, It is that the determination of regional unit project in Chung Buk Area. Second, the aim of this paper is to make clear the changing processes of the activity space and the periodic market. Third, It was the analysis of agricultural specilization in each regional unit. Results of this study are as follows; Firstly, this study is based on Functional Integration Model on the agricultural growth. Secondly, the range of the activity spaces, defined by lower-ordered items such as the purchase of speciality goods, the entertainment trips, and the shipment of special agricultural product have shown a remarkable change, and the orientation of behavior have changed from lower-ordered centers to higher-ordered ones. Thirdly, the crops of radish, chinese cabbage, red paper, garlic, seasame, tobacco, ginseng, stone-leek, watermelon, strawberry, tomato, raising silkworms and fruits had location quotient higer than I in agricultural specialization analysis.

Generalized hyperpigmentation has a wide range of causes, including endocrine diseases, including endocrine diseases, uremia, drugs, and heavy metals. Cutaneous pigmentation observed in 70% of uremic patients on hemodialysis. However, it is clinically difficult to define the exact cause of hyperpigmentation in chronic renal failure patients. We experienced a case of cutaneous hyperpigmentation caused by generalized argyria in chronic hemodialysis patient. A 38-year-old male patient presented with slowly progressive blue-black discoloration of skin. He had been on maintenance hemodialysis for 5 yars and took sliver pills 36 g daily during 2.5 years to relieve thirst. The other source of silver exposure could not be determined. Pathologic examination of skin biopsy specimen showed focal deposits of fine, uniform, brownish granules along the basement membrane zone of hair in the dermis, which is characteristic findings of argyria. The silver deposits were also confirmed by increase in serum silver level and silver amount in liver and skin tissue. Argyria should be suspected in chronic hemodialysis patients presenting with a diffuse bluish-gray discoloration of the skin and nails and evaluated carefully by skin biopsy with quantitation of tissue silver level. Anxiety, depression, and stress in Korean patients with chronic urticaria

Background/Aims: Emotional distress is thought to cause or maintain chronic urticaria (CU). We aimed to investigate the presence of anxiety, depression, and stress in Korean adult CU patients and to explore their potential impact on treatment. Methods: We enrolled 79 CU patients and a disease control group comprising 39 persistent asthma patients. The Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS) was used to evaluate depression and anxiety. Stress and quality of life (QoL) were assessed by Stress Response Inventory and CU-QoL questionnaires. The sociodemographic and clinical data such as urticaria activity score (UAS-15, UAS-6) were obtained. Results: The prevalence of depression and anxiety based on the HADS were 48.1% and 38.0%. Although the prevalence of anxiety didn’t differ between the CU and asthma patients, depression was significantly more prevalent in the CU patients (48.1% vs. 28.2%). Stress tended to be lower in CU patients. Anxiety, depression, and stress exhibited negative correlations with QoL. Anxiety showed significant correlation with UAS-6 and pruritus-visual analog scale (VAS; r = 0.256, r = 0.272, p < 0.05, respectively); depression correlated with sleep difficulty-VAS (r = 0.261, p < 0.05). Stress was associated with UAS-15, UAS-6, pruritus-VAS, and sleep difficulty- VAS (r = 0.251, r = 0.317, r = 0.302, r = 0.258, p < 0.05, respectively). Conclusions: The current study first presented that Korean CU patients frequently have anxiety and depression, which affect their QoL and demonstrated that anxiety, depression, and stress had different effects on sleep difficulty, pruritus, and urticaria severity in Korean CU patients.

We demonstrated that the indium composition ratio in the channel layer significantly affects the electrical stability of top-gate self-aligned (TG SA) coplanar structure indium-gallium-zinc oxide (IGZO) thin-film transistors (TFTs) under self-heating stress (SHS) conditions. The transfer curves of the In-poor IGZO TFT continuously shifted in the positive direction with extended stress time, without a significant change in the subthreshold swing (SS) and field-effect mobility (μFE) values during SHS application. In contrast, the transfer curve of the In-rich IGZO TFT shifted in the negative direction until the SHS time reaches 1200 s, after which it shifted in the positive direction with extended stress time. Besides, SS and μFE values continuously increased as the SHS time increased in the In-rich IGZO TFTs. The unusual behavior of the TG SA coplanar In-rich IGZO TFT during SHS is mainly attributed to the more pronounced diffusion of hydrogen (H) atoms from the n+-IGZO source/drain extension region to the IGZO channel region in the In-rich IGZO than in the In-poor IGZO. The H atoms diffused into the IGZO channel layer act as either shallow donors or deep acceptors, depending on their concentration and environmental conditions, thus causing the abnormal behavior of IGZO TFTs during SHS.
Property analysis of gypsum bleed pump impeller fabricated by a modified sand-casting method

A gypsum bleed pump impeller, which had been produced by a precision-casting process, was made using a modified sandcastingprocess by applying an inorganic binder system. The glass phase generated from the inorganic binder allowed the sandmold and core to withstand the casting temperature. The casting product, having a sound surface roughness and a stabledimensional property, was made with a highly fluid molten metal. The sand mold with the inorganic binder was completelycollapsed after casting, and the core was also eluted 100% in an aqueous sodium hydroxide solution. In addition, the cast pumpimpeller had abrasion and corrosion resistance similar to the OEM (original equipment manufacturer) product made usingconventional precision-casting. In addition, the magnetic particle test and the radiographic test were conducted to check theexternal and internal defects of the impeller
