      • PHV年齡에서 본 體格 ·體力의 發育 ·發達 速度曲線에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study was to examine the timing and sequence of growth and development velocity curves of some physique and physical fitness aligned on age at peak height velocity. The study design, the subjects, and the method used in cross-sectional investigation reported by Ministry of Physical Education and Youth of Korea(1989). According to the reported by Ministry of Physical Education and Youth, the subjects participated in goverment study were 7 through 50 over years of age who belonged to typical primary, junior and senior high school, college and adult, and about 550 males and 550 females in each age. Thus, the total sample size were 6,316 males and 6,316 females. Grand total was 12,632. For physique measured, 2 body linearity items ; body height and sitting height, 5 body bulk items ; body weight, chest girth and 3 site skinfold thickness items were selected. For physical fitness measured, 8 items such as grip strength, sit-ups, 10m shuttle run, standing long jump, 50m dash, long distance run, eyeclosed foot balance and trunk flexion were selected. Measurements were actually worked out in April through July, 1989. The mean and the standard deviation were computed for each itesm, each age, and each sex, respectively. The growth and development velocity magnitudes of some physique and physical fitness in this study were calculated by personal computer. The conclusion obtained as follows. 1. Ages at PHV occurred earlier about 3years than males on the average. 2. Maximal annual increments (PV) in body weight, chest girth and sitting height appeared to coincide with PHV in males, but, to about 1 and 2 years after PHV in females. 3. Two occurrence of peak velocity gained in the chest girth for males and 3 site skinfold for females. In contrast, peak velocity of triceps skinfold was not appeared in males. 4. Peak velocities of grip strength and trunk flexion occurred about 1 to 2 years after PHV in both sexes. Peak velocities of 50m dash and long distance run occurred about 1 to 2 years after PHV in males. 5. Peak velocities of sit-ups, standing long jump and eyeclosed foot balance occurred about 1 to 2 years before PHV in both sexes, respectively. 6. Peak velocity of 10m shuttle run was not occurred in both sexes, peak velocity of 50m dash was not occurred in females. 7. Generally, peak velocities of physique and physical fitness occurred earlier about 1 to 3 years in females than in males.

        당뇨병환자에서 뇨증 Fibronectin농도의 증가에 관한 연구

        Plasma fibronectin is an α₂-glyoprotein, which is produced by vascular endothelial cells. Raised level of plasma fibronectin has been observed in diabetic patients particularly in the presence of microvascular complications. However, no available data exist about urine level of this glycoprotein in diabetic patients. We measured urine fibronectin level by ELISA methods in 54 diabetic patients who have microvascular comlications or not. The following results were obtained. 1) Urine fibronectin level(㎍/g creatinine) in diabetic group(1740.0±678.0) is increased compaired with those in normal control group(471.0±59.0). but this results were not significantly different among two groups(P>0.05). 2) Urine fibronectin level(㎍/g creatinine) was significantly increased in patients with nephropathy (6188.0±3144.0) compared with those in normal control group(471.0±59.0) and patients without nephropathy(645.0±251.0)(P<0.001). 3) There were a significant correlation between BUN, creatinine, creatinine clearance, 24hr urine total protein and urine fibronectin level in diabetic patients. Our data suggest that urine fibronectin excretion level might be used as a sensitive guide for diabectic nephropathy.

      • 골다공증 진단에 피부 두께의 임상적 유용성 평가

        The study was carried out to examine how much clinically useful was the skin thickness in diagnosis of osteoporosis. The project was to look into not only the presumption that patients with osteoporosis have the skin loss at the similar rate of the reduction in the collagen content of the bone but also the correlation between the collagen content and the skin thickness. The skin thickness was measured on the dorsal hand(right) of the patients using an ultrasonic technique with a 20 MHz focused ultrasonic transducer. Measurements of the bone density of the patients were made on both the lumbar spine (L2-4) and the femoral neck using Dual­Energy X­ray Absorptionmeter(DEXA, Norland). An ultrasonic bone densitometer(Mark 6000, Medison Co. Korea) was taken to measure the speed of sound (SOS) on the calcaneus. It was observed that there were some degrees of correlation between the bone density obtained by the DEXA and the SOS of the calcaneous (P<0.01). There was no evidence that the skin thickness was correlated with the DEXA produced bone density and ultrasonically measured SOS.

        완전뇌허혈후 재관류시에 국소뇌혈류, 체성감각유발전위 및 신경학적 회복에 대한 Mannitol과 Thiopental의 효과

        The cardiopulmonary bypass or cerebral circulation arrest is often used in the treatment of complex aneurysm or of arteriovenous malformation to decrease the risk of intraoperative aneurysm rupture. Although experimental studies have suggested that some drugs may protect the brain from ischemic injury, there are limitations in maintaining cerebral perfusion arrest without incurring neurologic deficits due to the initiation of detrimental processes including excitotoxic neuronal injury, activation of phospholipases, influx of calcium, and generation of damaging free radicals. The purpose of this study is to determine wheter mannitol or thiopental has any favorable effects on the recovery of neurologic deficits and on the regional cerebral blood flow(rCBF), somatosensory evoked potential(SEP) and electroencephalogram(EEG) in cats which underwent 15 minutes-complete global ishcemia-reperfusion. The complete global ischemia was produced in 38 cats by temporary intrathoracic occlusion of the innominate artery and the subclavian artery following ligation of bilateral mammary arteries and simultaneous induction of hypotension. The cats were allocated randomly to one of 4 treatment groups : (1) control group, 8 cats received equal volume of saline solution : (2) thiopental group, 10 cats received 45㎎/㎏ thiopental intravenously, (3) mannitol group, 10 cats received 2g/㎏ mannitol intravenously, (4) combined mannitol and thiopental group, 10 cats received equal dose of mannitol and thiopental intravenously. The drugs were administrated in a equally divided dosage before and after the ischemic episode. The results were as follos : 1) Eight animals which received saline showed the severe postischemic hypoperfusion and poor recovery of SEP and EEG, and 6 of them died within 6 hours after the ischemia. 2) Ten thiopental-treated animals also showed the severe postischemic hypoperfusion and poor recovery of SEP and EEG, and 6 of them died within 6 hours the ischemia. 3) Both mannitol-and combined treated groups showed early recovery of EEG, good recovery of SEP and EEG without the severe postischemic hypoperfusion, and 7 of 10 mannitol-treated animals and 8 of 10 combined treated animals were significantly recovered in all parameters. There were not significant differences in all parameters between the mannitol-and combined treated groups. 4) Thirty-four of 38 animals involved in this 15 minutes-ischemia resulted in the severe neurologic deficits inspite of treatment with mannitol, thiopental or both of them. These results suggest that, in cats, mannitol treatment is effective but not thiopental in preventing severe neurologic injury following complete global ischemia and the duration of complete ischemia should be far less than 15 minutes.

      • 경남지역 대기중의 부유분진 특성에 관한 연구

        Suspended particles in the air were captured by high volume air sampler in the 29 sites of south Geyngsang area and measured total suspended particulate (TSP), heavy metals, and ion compounds. The results are following as; The average of TSP is 76.8㎍/㎥ throughout Gyeongnam area, and regional average is 124.9㎍/㎥ in industrial complex, 99.9㎍/㎥ road side area, and 52.9㎍/㎥ residential area. The highest level of TSP is 189.3㎍/㎥ in Yangsan industrial complex area. And the lowest is 34.1㎍/㎥ in Namhae residential area. The artificial contaminant(SO_4^2- and NO_3^-) have higher levels particularly road side area than industrial complex or residential area. Thus, it appears to be affected by emission gas of automobile. Fe is the heavy metal compound which of the highest concentration is 1.919㎍/㎥ in the air and Cd the lowest, 0.001㎍/㎥. In the regional aspect, it appesrs that industrial comples has high levels of Cl^-, Na^+, TSP, and heavry metals such as Zn, Pb and road side area has ion compounds such as SO_4^2-, NO_3^-. And there's no high level of concentration in residential area. The coefficient of correlation between Fe and Mn(P=0.000) is 0.999 in the industrial complex, that of Cr to Cd(P=0.003) is 0.997 in road side, and in the residential area that of Fe to Mn(P=0.000) is 0.867. Also, the correlation between Fe and Mn has totally the highest coefficient which is 0.995.

      • 낙동강 수계의 지역적ㆍ시기별 수질 특성 조사

        1996년과 1997년도 2년동안 1월부터 12월까지의 영남지역의 5개소를 선정하여 실험하였다. 본 실험에서 조사한 지역은 낙동강 유로연장 521.1km중 57%에 해당하는 경상북도 유로구간 298.1km로서 상류지역 3개소(안동, 상주, 구미), 중류지역 2개소(왜관, 고령)로 총 5개소에 대해 실시하여 낙동강의 수질오염 특성을 알아보고 낙동강 수질 개선 및 장례에 예상되는 수질악화에 대비한 물 관리의 기초자료로서 활용하고자 본연구를 시도하였으며 그 결과는 아래와 같다. 1. 낙동강의 조사지역 5개소의 pH는 공히 6.5∼8.6 정도를 나타내었다. 2. 용존산소량(DO), 화학적 산소요구량(COD), 생물학적 산소요구량(BOD)은 여름철에 낮아지고 겨울철에 높아지는 현상이 관찰되었다. 3. 부유물질(SS)은 여름철에 급격히 높아지는 현상이 관찰되었다. 4. 총인과 총질소는 조류가 번식하여 부영양화를 일으킬 만큼 높은 수준은 관찰되지 않았으나 상당한 수준의 양이 관찰되었다. 5. NH₄+-N와 NO₃--N는 비교적 높은 수준이 관찰되었다. The purpose of this survey was to investigate the regional and seasonal characteristics of a water system and to obtain basic information of a water system at Andong bridge, Nakdan bridge, Kangjung, Waekwan bridge and Koryung bridge along Nakdong River. We surveyed the water quality in the Nakdong River for 2 years from Jan. 1996 to Dec. 1997. The results summarized were follows; 1) The pH in the Nakdong River on the basic of 2 years average were 6.5-8.6. 2) The DO, the COD and the BOD were low level in summer and high level in winter, respectively. 3) The suspended solids(SS) contents was high especially in summer. 4) The T-P and the T-N contents were higher than the lower level of nitrogen and phosphorous for algae growth and the contents were high especially in winter. 5) The NH₄+-N and NO₃--N were also observed to be quite high.

      • SiC(3C) ?? 광다이오드의 Spectral Response

        SiC(3C) ?? 광다이오드의 Spectral Response (SR) 및 그 최대값의 변화를 기하학적 구조 및 전기적 물리상수의 변화에 따라 파장의 함수로 계산하여 그 결과를 반도체물리학 실험교육을 위한 교육자료로 활용할 수 있도록 예시하였다. 광다이오드의 최대 SR은 접합깊이, 광다이오드의 기하학적 구조, ??- 및 p-층의 도핑농도, 비반사층의 두께등의 변화에 의하여 조절되었다. 적절히 선정된 변수들로부터 계산된 SR의 최대값은 400 nm에서 약 0.90이었고, 파장영역 250∼500 nm 사이에서 청색 및 근자외선 광검지기로서 매우 유용하다. We have illustrated the variation of spectral response (SR) and the peak response of a SiC(3C) photodiode as an educatuional material for experiment of semiconductor physics about the n+- photovoltaic detection. The SR of a SiC(3C) n+-/p photodiode has calculated as a function of various optimal design parameters. The wavelength at which the peak response occurs can be controlled by varying the junction depth, the geometric structure of the photodiode, the doping concentrations of the p-layers and the p-layers, and the thickness of the anti-reflective layer. The SiC(3C) photodiode can detect both blue and near UV radiation. The peak response calculated for properlychosen parameters was about 0.90 near 400 nm. We expect a good photoresponse in the SiC(3C) homostructure for the wavelength range of 250∼500 nm.

      • 방사화 분석법을 통한 방사선량 및 포획단면적 개념 이해

        중성자 방사화법은 여러 가지 물질의 특성을 규명하는데 매우 유용한 방법이다. 기본적으로 이러한 방법은 매우 간단하다. 임의의 시료를 저속 중성자에 조사시키면, 그 시료는 방사능을 띄게 되고 시료로부터 나오는 β^+, β^-, 그리고 γ선의 선량을 측정하거나 시료의 반감기를 측정하면, 시료를 구성하고 있는 물질의 구성성분이나 그 농도를 알아낼 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 금 박막을 방사화시킴으로서 열중성자 선량값으로 1426.68 ± 11.62n/㎠ㆍsec를 얻었다. 또한, ^55Mn의 열중성자 포획 단면적은 13.79±0.45bam 이었는데 이는 Table of Isotope에 제시된 값과 매우 잘 일치하였다. 본 연구의 실험기법은 일반적으로 널리 알려진 방법이지만, 학생들이 쉽게 접할 수 있는 실험이 아니기 때문에 '선량' 또는 '단면적' 등돠 같은 물리 개념을 가르치는데 유용하게 사용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. Neutron activation is very powerful technique for identifying characteristics of many elements. Basically the technique is quite simple. A sample is irradiated by slow neutrons and becomes radioactive. By measuring the β^+s, β^-s, γs and half-life of the resulting sample, the elemental constituents of the sample and their relative concentrations can be identified. In this studies, thermal neutron flux was 1426.68 ± 11.62 n/㎠ ·sec from Au activation analysis. Thermal neutron capture cross section for ^55Mn was 13.79 ± 0.45 barn, it is a good agreement with Table of Isotope data. Technique of this measurement is not special, but can be used usefully for physics concepts learning such as flux and cross section.

      • 작업자의 작업쾌적성 향상을 위한 개선 활동의 실태에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to suggest some definite ideas of increasing worker's work comfortability in industry. Namely, questionnaire survey including questions to inquire of the effective activities engineers and the company administrators adopted in relating to work comfortability was conducted. As for the number of the companies investigated was to totally five hundreds randomly selected among the whole and the various different type of industries. From the results, it can be cleared that workers are apt to think of their own personal and effluenced living life belong the most valuable and important in recent years due to the rapid development of economic conditions. And, furthermore, working area for workers is not thought to be limited only to their own workplace but should be covered the whole area even at home. The conclusion from this study shows that the appropriate countermeasures to increase comfortability of working conditions and environment should be equally important fur industrial workers together with improving work efficiency from the view point of management.

      • 실험적으로 유발시킨 파킨슨 원숭이의 운동력 변화에 대한 수량적 측정

        약물을 이용하여 실험적으로 유발시킨 반신 파킨슨(hemiparkinsonism) 원숭이의 상지 운동학(kinematics) 변화를 전산적 방법으로 관찰하였다. 두 마리 rhesus monkeys를 TV 화면을 이용하여 이차원적인 시각유도하 수의적 운동을 집중적으로 훈련시켜 습득케 한 후 운동학 요소들을 전산적으로 측정하여 우선 정상상태에서의 data를 충분히 수집하였다. 그 후 내경동맥을 통하여 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,5,6-tetrahydropyridlne (MPTP)을 주사하여 반신 파킨슨증을 유발시킨 다음 같은 방법으로 운동학적 data를 측정한 후 비교 검토하였다. 두 마리 동물 모두에 있어서 운동 수행력이 저하되었고 특히 큰 폭(>3.5cm)의 운동 수행력이 그보다 작은 폭의 운동 수행력에 비해 현저히 저하되었다. 운동 반응시간 및 최고 운동속도까지의 도달 시간이 통계학적으로 뚜렷이 지연되었고(analysis of variance (ANOVA), p<0.0001), 최고 운동 속도는 감소되었다. 본 실험을 통하여 도파민성 신경독소(dopaminergic neurotoxin)인 MPTP 주사로 유발된 반신 파킨슨 원숭이의 시각유도하의 수의적 상지운동의 운동불능증(akinesia) 및 운동완만증(brady- kinesia)을 전산적 방법을 이용하여 개관적으로 측정할 수 있었을 뿐만 아니라 흑색질의 운동에 관여하는 해부학적 기능을 관찰할 수 있었다. 이 방법을 통하여 파킨슨증을 객관적으로 진단하고 치료에 따른 효과에 대한 객관적 분석이 가능할 것이다. The effects of MPTP on the kinematics of arm movements in the rhesus monkey were observed quantitatively using computers. Two rhesus monkeys were trained to move a manipulandum from a centrally located start box to target boxes arranged by six directions and five different distances from the start box. The data of two dimensional multi-joint arm movement were collected extensively before and after injection of MPTP. By comparison with those data the kinematic changes in MPTP-induced hemiparkinsonian monkey could be analyzed quantitatively. Several kinematic parameters including reaction time, and time and amplitude of peak tangential velocity were analysed. In MPTP induced parkinsonian monkey, larger amplitude movements were more severly affected than smaller amplitude movements. Reaction time and the time-to-peak velocity increased after MPTP injection. Furthermore using this method the kinematic improvement can be measured quantitatively after some treatment in expeimentally induced parkinsonian animals.
