        양극성 장애에서 표피성장인자의 유전적 다형성에 대한 연합연구

        Objectives : Epidermal growth factor (EGF) is a neurotrophic factor which regulates the intracellular signaling molecules. These molecules are also affected by mood stabilizers such as lithium and valproate. In addition, epidermal growth factor enhances neuronal survival, maturation and differentiation especially in midbrain dopaminergic neurons of which dysfimction may play a role in pathophysiology of bipolar disorders. Bipolar disorder has some genetic commonalities with schizophrenia, and several association studies of EGF have been done with schizophrenia. In this study, we tried to investigate the geneticassociation between EGF A61G polymorphism and bipolar disorder. Methods : Total of 189 patients and 347 nonnal control were included. All patients satisfied the diagnostic criteria of DSM-IV for bipolar disorder type I (BPDI, N= 146) and bipolar disorder type II (BPDII, N=43). Genomic DNA was extracted from the peripheral blood, and genotyping was performed by TaqMan™ method. Genotype and allele frequency of EGF A61G polymorphism between the patients and the control were compared by contingency chi-square test or the Fisher's exact test. Results : No association was found between EGF A61G polymorphism and susceptibility of BPDI, BPDII and bipolar disorder (all patients). Female patients with BPDII showed overexpression of AG genotype compared to that ofcontrol group (p=0.03). However, this association was not significant after correction of multiple testing. Conclusion : In conclusion, EGF A61G polymorphism has no association with susceptibility of bipolar disorder. However, the disease modifying role of EGF gene polymorphism for bipolar disorder remains to be elucidated in respect to factors such as gender difference or diagnostic subtype.

      • 분산 데이터베이스 환경에서의 빠른 트랜잭션 처리를 위한 분산 확장형 이타적 잠금 기법을 이용한 스케쥴러의 설계

        분산 데이터베이스에서 장기 트랜잭션 발생시 과도한 장기간 데이터 점유로 인한 트랜잭션 처리 성능의 저하를 초래하게 된다. 따라서 단기 트랜잭션은 장기 트랜잭션으로 인한 지연이 없이 데이터베이스를 빨리 접근하여야 한다. 본 논문에서는 분산데이터베이스 환경에서 동시성 제어를 위한 향상된 트랜잭션 스케쥴링 프로토콜을 제안한다. 좀 더 확장된 직렬성(Selializability) 표기를 가진 이타적 잠금기법(Altruistic Locking)을 사용하여 분산 데이터베이스 시스템에서 적용하였다. 이타적 잠금기법은 기부를 통하여 트랜잭션이 더 이상 그 객체를 요구하지 않을 때 다른 트랜잭션들이 객체를 로크할 수 있도록 미리 객체에 대한 로크를 해제함으로써 트랜잭션들의 대기시간을 줄이기 위해서 제안된 것이다. 확장형 이타적 잠금기법은 처음에 기부되지 않는 객체까지도 처리하는 좀 더 완화된 기법이다. 본 논문에서 제안한 새로운 트랜잭션 스케쥴링 기법은 확장형 잠금 기법을 기초로 분산 데이터베이스 내에서 트랜잭션 처리 전에 분산 데이터베이스 시스템의 외부에 별도의 트랜잭션 스케쥴러(External Scheduler for Distributed Database System(EsDDS))를 두어 단기 트랜잭션과 장기 트랜잭션을 구분하여 각각의 특성에 맞게 다른 데이터베이스 접속을 허가하게 되어 직렬성과 동시성 제어를 동시에 만족한다. 그리고 분산 데이터 시스템 장기 트랙잭션에 인해 유발 가능한 단기 트랜젝션의 장기적 대기현상을 최소화하도록 줄임으로써 동시성 제어의 정도를 높일 수 있는 새로운 확장형 이타적 잠금기법을 이용한 외부 스케쥴링 기법을 연구한다. We propose an advanced transaction scheduling protocol for concurrency control of Distributed databases in Distributed. Performance declension has arise to long-time possession of Long-lived Transaction. So short-lived transaction must quickly access database without any delay by long-lived one. We adapted Altruistic protocol, namely more extended syntax-oriented serializability notions, to Distributed Databases in Distributed Network Environment. Altruistic locking, as an advanced protocol, has attempted to reduce delay effect associated with lock release moment by use of the idea of donation. An improved form of altruism has also been deployed for extended altruistic locking. This is in a way that scope of data to be early released is enlarged to include even data initially not intended to be donated. Our protocol is based on extended altruistic locking, but a new Scheduling method, namely External Scheduler for Distributed Database System(EsDDS), is additionally used in order to satisfy serializability requirements and concurrency. With we research external scheduling method of extention with regard to XAL in a way that short-lived transaction are not also vulnerable to tolerate long-duration waiting

        As web environment and technology improve rapidly these days, many users get desirable information by means of web, and represent the information that they have through web pages construction. Therefore, importance and application of web editor for easy and convenient homepage making have increased. In this paper, we propose a web query system based on dynamic web editor. The editor makes it possible for users to conveniently make homepages by improving limit of client based web editor or template web page service supplied by hosting site. And users search for desirable information through web pages on the huge web, so they can add this information for users web page or create new web page. Through this web editor which implements server based on the web, users can make web page flexiblely and can make polished web page which increases reading and comprehensiveness to access information easily.

        Study on Characteristics of Phosphates and Transition-metal Complexes Synthesized onto Viscose Rayon Felt for Flame Retardancy

        Phosphates (polyphosphate and ammonium phosphate) are synthesized onto the viscose rayon felt as high-performance materials for flame retardancy. This surface reaction has advantages of non-blooming effect and application to thermosetting plastics. Metal complexes have been known to have the effect of reducing amounts of smoke. Therefore, in second step, transition metal complexes were synthesized onto the viscose rayon ammonium phosphate felt. This article focuses on surface modification of phosphates and metal complex onto viscose rayon. All reactions were confirmed by ATR FT-IR and TOF-SIMS. As concentrations of phosphoric acid and urea increased, peak intensities of ammonium ion group and phosphate groups grew up highly. The thermal properties of the synthesized materials were studied using thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA) and oxygen index test. On the basis of experimental results, the synthesized materials for flame retardancy showed excellent physico-chemical and thermal effect, and found to be as the flame retardants.

        <P>A series of ordered mesoporous carbon materials (OMCs) possessing well-ordered nanoporosity with different mesopore structures were synthesized by the template-synthesis route. Two different pore strucutes (2-dimensional hexagonal and 3-dimensional cubic structures) and two different framework-configurations (rod-type and hollow-type carbon frameworks) are prepared by using the two different silica templates and synthetic conditions. The ordered mesoporous carbon supported promoted-rhodium catalysts were preparted by an incipient wetness method. The promoted Rh-OMC catalysts are tested by a fixed bed reactor for the catalytic conversion of syngas-to-alcohols. The characteristics of the promoted Rh-OMCs catalysts were scrutinized through a series of different techniques, including transmission electron microscopy (TEM), powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), and N2 sorption analysis, and the catalytic performance was tested in a fixed-bed reactor. It was found that the promoted Rh-OMC catalysts exhibited the different catalytic activity and selectivity of alcohols, which could be attributed to the size of metal nanoparticles being confined by the different mesostructure of OMCs.</P>

        간의 원발성 혈관육종 1 예

        In spite of its rarity, hepatic angiosarcoma is of special interest because specific risk factors such as thorium dioxide, arsenic, and vinyl chloride have been identified. We report a case of histopathologically confirmed primary angiosarcoma of the liver which was found in a farmer. In this case, 73-year old man was presented with right upper abdominal pain and fatigue. Abdominal ultrasonography, CT scan and MRI revealed a mass occupying broad area of the right lobe of the liver. Histopathologic diagnosis of angiosarcoma was made by percutaneous needle biopsy.         Actinomycosis is a chronic suppurative and granulomatous disease caused by actinomyces species and caracterized by sulfur granule formation which frequently discharged via draining sinus. Actinomyces can affect cervicofacial, pulmonary, abdominal and pelvic area. Most of abdominal actinomycosis is developed after abdominal operation, trauma or inflammatory bowel disease and it must be differentiated from colon cancer, amaeboma, chronic appendicitis or intestinal tuberculosis. We report a case of abdominal actinomycosis, preoperatively impressed as colon carcinoma, which was diagnosed by histological study of the operative specimen. Adequate surgical excision and drainage procedure followed by administration of massive dose of penicilline for weeks. In this case we noted secondary abscess formation after surgery of primary disease. Herein we present our experience with reviewed literatures.

      • A Study on Post-Quantum Cryptography based Defense Card type USB Security Token

        In this paper, following the recent development of optical transmission device equipped with Post-Quantum Cryptography, it proposes to improve the level of defense security system by applying USB security token with Q-PUF USB technology. Although trends of quantum computer development are currently in progress, quantum computer, which have been developed so far, have exceeded the computational capabilities of existing supercomputers. This allows us to easily decode the public certificates and encryption keys. Although the frequency of using public certificates is decreasing due to the abolition of public certificates in May 2020, Republic of Korea Army still uses public certificates for various defense authentication systems. This reality calls for a stronger security systems. Meanwhile, korean technology companies have developed a portable USB security token that can increase security against the use of the quantum computer, and the author suggests the application of it at the defense environment. This report suggests the application of the defense and its expected effectiveness.
