        A new diode laser system for therapy of cancer is proposed in this paper. In order to accuracy and statistical output control we used the constant current control method and designed the power source to protect the resonator from the over-current, rush-current and electrical fault. The most important things are the radiation type for cancer therapy in laser system, we developed the radiation type of cw, long pulse, and burst pulse. The experimental result show that laser beam power increase linearly from 10mW to 300mW for input current increasing and the exposure time.

      • 산소포화도 측정을 위한 광센서 시스템의 설계

        Blood oxygen saturation(SpO_(2)) is an important indicator of a patient health in clinical. Several methods have been developed to diagnosis oxygen saturation. Pulse Oximetry is a common, noninvasive method used in clinical environments. But it has complex hardware and software to realize system and it makes a noise sometimes. In this paper, we propose the new technique to make a compact system in small size and reduce the noise using micro-controller chip including ALU, RAM, ROM and other I/O device. The developed compact system consist of optical sensor including the two LEDs of 660nm and 940nm and a photodiode, signal processing unit including micro-controller which process detected light signal from biological tissue. Using the SpO_(2) simulator (INDEX2), we could obtained the calibration curves of R(Ratio of Ratio) values to calculate oxygen saturation levels in the range of SpO_(2) 50%∼100%.

      • 다공성 미립 담체에서의 동물세포 성장 및 부착 속도와 바이러스 백신의 생산

        본 실험실에서 개발한 젤라틴 다공성 담체(K-beads)와 상업용 다공성 담체인Cultispher-G를 이용하여 Chinese Hamster Overy(CHO)세포와 African Green Monkey Kidney(Vero)세포에 대한 세포의 담체 부착 속도와 성장성을 살펴보았다. 양 세포주의 담체에 대한 초기 부착 속도는 시간에 따라 일차 함수 관계를 보였으며, 부착율은 접종 세포량의 90%에 달했다. Vero세포의 K-beads에서의 성장은 140시간 배양후 최종농도가 5.6×??cells/ml이었으나, Cultispher-G에서는 세포의 초기 성장이 늦고 최종 세포 농도도 3.5×??cells/ml로 나타났다. Vero세포의 성장이 최고농도에 도달직전에 Vesicular Stomatitis Virus(VSV)를 0.1MOI(Multiplicity of Infection)로 접종하여 이틀 뒤 그 생성농도를 살펴본 결과 K-beads에서 5.7×??pfu/ml로 Cultispher-G 보다 높게 나타났다. 결과적으로 K-beads가 세포의 고농도 배양 및 백신의 고농도 생산에 적합한 담체임을 확인하였다.

      • Animal virus의 최대 생산을 위한 환경인자에 관한 연구

        pH, 혈청 농도, polycations등과 같은 환경인자들이 바이러스 생산에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 조사하였다. pH의 범위가 6.6에서 8까지의 사이에서는 VSV(vesicular stomatits virus)의 생산에 아무런 영향을 주지 않았고, 최적의 MOI(multiplicity of index)는 0.1에서 나타났다. Polycation의 첨가시 바이러스의 숙주부착속도가 현저히 증가함을 알 수 있었고, VSV production(1.7*?? pfu/ml)은 대조구(5.5*pfu/ml)보다 약 3-4배 증가함을 알 수 있었다.

      • 효소적 방법으로 제조된 키토산 올리고당의 첨가에 따른 김치의 숙성 및 저장 기간 연장에 관한 연구

        효소로 처리된 키토산 올리고당의 첨가에 의한 김치의 숙성 기간 연장 효과를 알아보기 위하여 배추김치에는 0.2-0.4%, 2일째에 0.4%를 첨가하여 20℃에서 10일간 관찰한 결과 0.2% 첨가시 대조군에 비해 2일, 0.4% 첨가시는 4일, 2일째에 0.4%를 첨가한 경우는 8일 이후로 연장 효과가 2-4배 있었으며, 0.4% 이상에서는 미생물 생육자체가 억제되므로 풍미 및 유기산의 생성을 고려할 때 2일째 첨가된 0.4%가 젖산균의 수는 어느정도 유지하면서 stationary phage를 연장시킴으로서 더 좋은 결과를 나타냈다. 갓 김치의 경우 0.1%-0.5% 첨가시 대조군에 비해 1.2-1.4배의 연장 효과가 있어서 배추 김치에 비해서는 낮은 효과를 나타냈다. 따라서, 효소로 처리된 키토산 올리고당의 첨가에 의해 배추 김치는 2-4배의 연장 효과, 갓김치는 1.2-1.4배의 연장 효과를 나타내어 미생물 증식 억제에 의한 김치의 숙성 및 저장 기간 연장 효과를 기대할 수 있었다. To prolong the fermenting and preservation period of Kimchi, chitosanoligosaccharide was prepared by chitosanase. Various concentrations of chitosanoligosaccharide were added into Chinese cabbage Kimchi and Gat Kimchi. Chinese cabbage Kimchi was formulated with various chitosanoligosaccharide concentrations(0.2-0.4%) and fermented at 20℃. And Gat Kimchi was prepared with various chitosanoligosaccharide(0.1-0.5%) concentrations during 26 days at 4℃. In this results, the fermentation period was increased 2-2.5 and 1.2-1.4 folds more than control(0% of chitosanoligosaccharide) for Chinese cabbage Kimchi and Gat Kimchi, respectively. Conclusively, adding of chitosanoligosaccharide into Kimchi significantly prolonged the fermentation and preservation period.

        한국판 섬망 평가 척도-98(K-DRS-98)의 표준화 연구

        Objective : This study was conducted to develop and to validate the Korean version of Delirium Rating Scale-Revised-98(K-DRS-98), which is a scale for diagnosing delirium and evaluating its severity. Method : After developing the K-DRS-98, 102 patients were rated by it among 4 diagnostic groups, such as delirium (N=25), dementia (N=27), schizophrenia (N=25) and others (N=25). To test for reliability, K-DRS-98 was independently administered by two psychiatrist. To test for validity, Korean version of Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE-K) and Clinical Global Impression (CGI) were administered simultaneously. Statistical analysis was done with SPSS window version 12 package and statistical significance was p<0.05. Result : Intemal consistencies (Cronbach α) of two raters were 0.867 and 0.858, respectively. Inter-rater reliability (κ) was 0.893 for severity items of K-DRS-98 and κ value of diagnosis items was 0.969. In Delirium group, Pearson correlation Coefficients (r) of K-DRS-98 were -0.682 for MMSE-K and 0.667 for CGI. In comparison Delirium group with Others, ANOVA post hoc multiple comparison LSD was statistically significant (p<0.001). The cutoff score to diagnosis of delirium can be recommended 16 for seventy items and 21.5 for total score, respectively. Conclusion : The K-DRS-98 was showed good reliability and validity for the assessment of delirium. The K-DRS-98 is an easy and useful tool for diagnosing delirium and assessing its severity.

      • 皮膚組織內의 反射光 特性에 關한 硏究

        This paper proposes a method of noninvasive reflectance light to measure the blood fractional volume(Vb) and oxygen saturation(SO_2) of biological tissue. We chose the red light of 660nm and infrared light of 880nm. In Vivo reflectance data were obtained the physiological changes from different laters within a biological tissue was measured by specially designed reflectometer to apply photon path diffusion model. The collected data represent the changes of blood fractional volume and oxygen saturation at each reflected light wavelengths. This study uses the experimental methods to assess the physiological changes due to heat. The result presented in this paper demonstrate to measure consistent changes in tissue optical properties during heat.

        신손상 진단에 있어 현미경적 혈뇨의 의의

        The evaluation of patients with microscopic hematuria after blunt abdominal trauma has become controversial. We tested the hypothesis that renal contusion can be diagnosed clinically and that these patients do not require radiographic evaluation. To evaluate the association of microscopic hematuria without shock and with renal injury, we reviewed the medical records of 252 patients following blunt abdominal trauma. Microscopic hematuria without shock was noted in 58 of 252 patients. Of the 58 patients 52 had renal contusion, 4 had renal laceration, 1 had a renal rupture and 1 had renal pedicle injury. All of the patients with renal contusions experienced no complications from nonoperative management. But, avoiding a radiopraphic evaluation in patients with blunt renal trauma plus microscopic hematuria and no shock would miss a few cases of severe renal injury.

      • 하악골 비대칭과 측모두부방사선사진상 이중영상 간의 관계

        This study was performed to investigate the affecting factors to double images on the cephalometric radiograph. For this study, 28 patients with temporomandibular disorders and 31 healthy dental students without any signs and symptoms of temporomandibular disorders were selected, and the cephalometric and the panoramic radiographs were taken. The observed and measured points related to double images on the cephalometric radiograph were Or, Go1, Go2, Go3, and C1. Both mandibular ramus height were measured on the panoramic radiograph. Natural head and body posture in the frontal and the sagittal plane were observed with CROM?? and with posture measuring board, with regard to several parameters. The data obtained were processed with SPSS Windows?? program. The result were as follows : 1. There were no correlation between the difference of both mandibular ramus height and the length of cephalometric double image at observed points. 2. The length of double image in Or and Go2 in the subjects with more headtilt in frontal plane(≥2˚ )were different from the subjects with less headtilt(≤1˚ ). 3. Difference of angulation of both sternocleidomastoid muscles in sagittal plane did not affect the length of cephalometric double image in all the measured points. 4. There were negative correlation between the length of cephalometric double image in Go1 and C1 and canthotragus angle. 5. There were no correlation between the length of cephalometric double image and the frontal parameters, but there were significant correlation between the length of double image and the sagittal parameters such as sagittal angle, degree of forward head posture(FHP), and canthotragus angle.

      • 3-D 동작 분석 장치를 이용한 한국성인(20대, 30대)의 동작 범위에 관한 연구

        Devices, such as a goniometer, have been used to measure a human being's active range of motion, but interferences between subjects and testers have affected the result precision. In this study, 56 dynamic motion ranges were measured using a 3-D motion analysis system which is quite accurate (2mm error for 1m). The 3-D motion analysis system consists of VICON 140, data acquisition system, and data analysis program (KRISSMAS). 80 Korean subjects (40 males, 28±6.1 aged and 40 females, 28.4±6.9 aged) participated. Subjects were divided into 4 groups by Ro¨hrer's index based on National Anthropometric Survey of Korea 1997. Basic statistical analysis were performed using SPSS (ver. 8.0) programs after refining data. Various comparisons were performed for the right and left side, male and female, age groups (20's, 30's. and 40's-60's) using previous studies. The results show that female subjects have more flexible joints in the neck, hip, ankle, and wrist, while male subjects have more flexibility in their waist. But most of the significances were not high (>0.05). The prediction that the right side of Korean bodies would be mort flexible was not a good hypothesis. And the joints flexibilities are not correlated with Ro¨hrer's Index.
