Presented in this paper is a development of ERP systems for footwear manufacturing. Final goal of the system development is to construct ERP system covering all works from order to make, shipment, accounting. And the objective of this paper is to introduce to completed 6 sub-systems of developing total 13 sub-system for production resource planning. In this study, introduce analysis of existing business flow and design of standard business process for development of systems. Also describe input and output of the standard business process for production resource management and basic structure, design of the total system flow, configuration of completed 6 sub-systems are presented. Finally, function of software modules and principal algorithms and basic data structuring techniques on the 6 sub-systems are explained.

Background: This study was designed to review the cases of patients who had undergone diffusion-weighted magnetic resonance imaging(DWI) in the emergency department(ED), and to investigate its clinical usefulness and current indications. Methods: We analyzed the cases of 152 consecutive patients who underwent DWI in the ED from Jan to Mar 2001. DWI was obtained with the use of a multislice, single-shot, spin-echo plana imaging technique(GE SignaR). Imaging time was less than one minute. The medical records, the DWI films and the computed topography results were reviewed. We investigated the chief complaint, initial findings of physical examination, final diagnosis, decision-making department, interval from admission to imaging, and DWI findings. Results: DWI showed positive findings of high signal intensity in 84 patients(55.3%). Among the 68 patients who yielded a negative result, false negative occurred with 12 patients(17.6%): 10 lacunar infarctions, a pons infarction, and a brainstem infarction. Eleven patients were determined as having a cerebral hemorrhage, all of whom showed the abnormal finding of a mixed signal in DWI. The sensitivity and the specificity of DWI to rule out stroke were 85.5% and 98%, respectively. Current indications for DWI in our ED are age older than 60, alert mental status, and one of the symptoms or signs among lateralyzing sign, language disturbance, and dizziness/vertigo. Conclusion: DWI was highly specific to rule out stroke, so emergency care professionals should be familiar with this new technology. Further prospective study is required to determine the proper indications and clinical usefulness of DWI in the ED.
ROSPath : An Intergrated Database for Reactive Oxygen Species-mediated Signaling Pathway

Progress in understanding complex signaling pathways and networks has been hampered by the current lack of a formal and structured collation of the available information, in a format suitable for analysis via software tools. In order to facilitate the organization. and understanding of such complex network of information, it is essential to have a formal means to represent and analyze cellular pathways. We have defined a formal ontology for cell-signaling events that allows us to describe these cellular pathways at various levels of abstractions. Using this formal representation, ROSPath(Reactive Oxygen Species related signaling Pathway) database system has been implemented and made available on the web(http://rospath.ewha.ac.kr). ROSPath is a database system for reactive oxygen species(ROS)-mediated cell signaling pathways and signaling processes in molecular detail, that facilitates a comprehensive understanding of the regulatory mechanisms in signaling pathways. ROSPath includes growth factor-, stress- and cytokine-induced signaling. It is a web-based structured repository of information on the signaling pathways of interest and provides a means for managing data produced by high-throughput tools such as proteomics and genomics. It also provides effective and flexible tools for querying, displaying and analyzing pathways, thus providing an integrated web environment for visualizing and manipulating ROS-mediated cell-signaling events.

The tumor suppressor PTEN is a phosphatase that acts 3-phosphorylated phosphoinositides, including PtdIns 3,4,5-P₃ Like protein tyrosine phosphatases, PTEN contains a reactive, essential cysteine, Cys124, at its active site. PTEN plays important roles in the control of apoptosis, cell cycle progression and development by acting in conjunction with PI3K to regulate the levels of PtdIns 3,4,5-P₃ How the activity of PTEN is regulated in response to extracellular stimuli, however, is not known. Overexpression of Mox, a gp91 component of NADPH oxidase or a dominant negative mutant of peroxiredoxin Ⅱ, a H₂O₂ scavenging enzyme resulted in increase in the level of PtdIns 3,4,5-P₃, suggesting that H₂O₂ might modulate intracelluar levels of PtdIns 3,4,5-P₃, by either activating PI3-kinase or inhibiting PTEN or both. We studied PTEN as a target of H₂O₂. Incubation of purified PTEN with H₂O₂ resulted in a manner dependent on time and H₂O₂ concentration. Studies of various Cys mutants and direct mass spectral analysis of tryptic peptides indicated that Cys124 formed a disulfide with Cys71 upon oxidation by H₂O₂ and superoxide anion. The sensitivity of PTEN to H₂O₂ produced in vivo in response to receptor activation was tested in human neutrophils stimulated with fMLP. The amount of oxidized PTEN increased with time of incubation with fMLP, reached a maximum at 5 min, and returned to the basal levels by 20 mm, suggesting that the PTEN oxidation is reversible. Incubation of cells with 1-chloro-2,4-dinitrobenzene, an inhibitor of TrxR, caused the conversion of reduced PTEN to the oxidized form, whereas buthionine sulfoximine, an inhibitor of GSH biosynthesis, did not have any effect. These results suggest that the activity of PTEN is regulated through reversible oxidation by H₂O₂ and that the reduction is achieved mainly by Trx.
Processing of continuous poly(amide-imide) nanofibers by electrospinning

<P>Continuous poly(amide-imide) nanofibers were fabricated using a novel electrospinning method with rotating and re-collecting cylindrical collectors. The nanofilaments were modified using various post-treatments, i.e. glycerol treatment and thermal imidization under tension, for possible application as high-performance reinforcements. Morphological and mechanical properties of continuous poly(amide-imide) nanofibers prepared by the electrospinning process and various post-treatments were measured. Severe adhesion between individual nanofibers within fiber bundles was inhibited through surface treatment of the electrospun nanofiber bundles by spraying with glycerol. The morphological and mechanical properties of the continuous poly(amide-imide) nanofibers and thermal stability were improved using thermal imidization at high temperature under tension. The morphological and mechanical properties of the continuous electrospun nanofibers were improved significantly by post-treatments after electrospinning because uniform and complete thermal imidization occurred through the core region of the nanofibers. 현재 추진 중에 있는 “미공급 지역 천연가스 보급 확대 사업”에 따른 다수의 공급대상지역이 동시에 발생하고 있으며, 동 지역의 천연가스 수요량(설계유량 20 ton/hr 이하)이 적어 소규모 공급설비의 필요성이 증가하고 있고 또한 소규모 공급지점의 추가 발생 시 능동적인 대처가 필요한 시점이다. 따라서 설비의 안전성, 안정적인 가스 공급 및 추후 확장의 편의성 등을 고려한 소용량 정압기지의 해외 사용실태 분석, 안전성 검토 등을 통한 국내 도입 타당성에 대해 검토하였다.

Recently, the trend in architectural forms has been toward larger and taller building. The building materials, therefore, are getting larger and heavier as well. Typical construction machineries are, however, not adequate for handling these materials and most of the construction works have been still managed by a human operator. Construction processes are, therefore, fraught with a number of problems, including frequent accidents, high construction cost and heterogeneous construction quality. In a bid to address this issue, The concept design of transport robot for use in construction sites is described. To design of this robot, CTQ(Critical To Quality) is deduced based on analysis of technical trends and VOC(Voice Of Customer). Such robot is expected to be in high demand in the near future in countries where aging of construction workers is becoming a serious problem.
