To determine the best condition of waste water treatment containing polyvinyl alcohol(P.V.A) through the recovery PVA equipment, several coagulants were tested. Coupled treatment of borax and sodium sulfate turned out to be the best coagulant. The recovery rate of remnant PVA with the treament was not affected by pH changes and temperature ranges tested, but increased by the polimerization of used PVA. The recovery rate and viscosity of remnant PVA were increased by repeated recovery process. These results may provide economical benifits by recovering the precious industrial materials from wastewater and be applicable to design the equipments recovering the environmental contaminants.
한국에서 연노랑허리솔새(Phylloscopus yunnanensis)의 첫 포획 기록

2021년 10월 22일 인천 옹진군 소청도에서 연노랑허리솔새(Phylloscopus yunnanensis) 1개체가 포획되었으며, 이번 기록은 국내 첫 번째 포획 기록이며 유전적 방법으로 확인된 본 종의 첫 번째 확증 기록이다. 외형적으로 노랑허리솔새(P. proregulus)와 매우 유사하지만, 머리중앙선 앞 부분이 흐리고, 옅은 눈썹선, 둘째날개깃 기부의 반점이 없는 점으로 구분된다. 외부측정치는 노랑허리솔새와 큰 차이가 없지만, 익식은 차이가 있었다. 본 기록은 국내 도래에 대한 명확한 근거가 부족한 솔새과 조류 1종에 대한 포획과 측정 자료를 제공함으로써 국내 생물종 확보 및 생물다양성 증진에 기여하며, 향후 야외에서 본 종에 대한 형태적 동정에 필요한 정보를 제공하는데 의의가 있다. A Chinese Leaf Warbler (Phylloscopus yunnanensis) was caught in mist nets on the Socheong Island (37°45′41.4″N, 124°43′46.8″E), Ongjin County, Korea, on October 22, 2021. This is the first confirmed record of the species in Korea based on morphological and phylogenetic analyses. Despite morphological similarity to Pallas’s Leaf Warbler (P. proregulus), Chinese Leaf Warbler could be distinguished based on differences in the median crown strip, supercilium, and secondary wing feathers, and the wing formula of P. yunnanensis also differed from that of P. proregulus; however, other morphometric measurements were comparable. This record can contribute to the enhancement of biodiversity in Korea based on the morphometry and photography of a Phylloscopidae species, for which there was no substantive evidence of record in Korea. These data are useful to formulate keys for the morphological identification of this species in the field.

파종시기가 황기의 뿌리수량에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 3월 중순부터 4월 하순까지 파종시기를 달리하여 시험한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 출아기간은 수원과 이천지역 모두 3월 중순 파종시 20일이 소요되었으나 4월 상순 파종구에서는 6일로 가장 짧았다. 2. 지상부는 4월 중순 파종까지는 생육량이 증가하는 경향이었으나 4월 하순 이후에는 감소하는 경향이었다. 3. 지하부 생육은 이천보다 수원시험구에서 지근 발생이 많았으며, 두지역 모두 4월 상순 파종시 건근중이 가장 양호하였다. 4. 수량은 수원과 이천 모두 4월 상순 파종구가 가장 양호하였으며 4월 상순 이후부터는 감소하여 황기 적정파종 시기는 4월 상순으로 생각된다. This experiment was carried out to investigate the difference of growth and yield in A. membranaceus Bunge at different seeding. Time from 1997 to 1998 at Suwon and Ichon, Emergence duration was the longest as 20 days at middle of March seeding in Suwon, but early of April seeding was the shortest as 6 days. Weight of shoot was increased to middle of April seeding but was reduced after late of April. Lateral root was more increased at Suwon than Ichon. Dry root weight and yield were the most increased at April early in the middle of them. but were induced after middle April. As the experimental results, the optimum seeding date for A. membranaceus was April early seeding.
All-ceramic Crown 용 도재의 굽힘강도에 관한 비교연구

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the fracture resistance of the four kinds of dental porcelains for the all-ceramic crown(Vita In-Ceram, Vita Hi-Ceram, IPS-Empress, Vitadur-N) and one kind for the metal-ceramic crown(Vita VMK 68) was used as the control group. In order to determine the fracture resistance, the hi-axial flexure strength was measured at a crosshead speed of 0.5㎜/min, and the Victors hadrness was measured at an indentation load of 1㎏ for 20 seconds. The results obtained were summarized as follows ; 1. The maximum Weibull modulus of 24.61 for Vitadur-N and the minimum one of 8.82 for IPS-Empress were observed ; the maximum characteristic strength of 353.26MPa for Vita In-Ceram and the minimum that of 63.20MPa for Vitadur-N were also observed. 2. The maximum mean bi-axial flexure strength of 339.12MPa for Vita In-Ceram and thd minimum one of 61.99MPa for Vitadur-N were calculated. Results of the Scheffe test indicated that the statistically significant difference(P<0.05) existed between Vita In-Ceram or Vita Hi-Ceram and the others ; also beween IPS-Empress and Vitadur-N. 3. The maximum mean hardness of 980.55㎏/㎟ for Vita VMK 68 appeared. Results of the Sche^ffe test indicated that statistically significant difference(P<0.05) existed between Vita In-Ceram or Vita Hi-Ceram and the others ; also between IPS-Empress and Vita VMK 68.

For the temperature measurement, we use the thermistor, thermosensor of IC type, piezoeletric infrared sensor, e.t.c.. In this paper, a portable pyrometer for high temperature measurement equipment was designed and fabricated by using K-type(chromel/alumel) thermocouple and IC(AD 595). Since IC(AD 595) thermosensor and K-type thermocouple have the nonlinearity, we compensated for nonlinearity by using EPROM(27C256). In compensated result, the measured error was ±2[℃], that is ±0.2[%], in the high temperature. In result, this Pyrometer is can used for all part that is required precise temperature measurement.
