This is to investigate the posibility of home manufacturing of heavy chemical industry machines, such as rotary kiln, crusher, blower, cooler, electrostatic precipitator and weighing feeder of cement plant. It is concluded that even though we can not make all of them (some of them are made now and some others are going to be made in the near future, some of them are made whole and some others are made partially), we can build or export the cement plant by importing the important machines which we can not make now and by substituting them with ours gradually.
레이저 다이싱 장비의 구조 동특성이 빔 안정성에 미치는 영향

Inherent merits fabricating thin wafers motivated the development of laser dicing machines. In this study, the dynamic characteristics of the prototype of a laser dicing machine has been evaluated using ANSYS based modal and harmonic analysis. The computation shows that the supporting structure of the laser tube which is a guide of laser beams is stable in terms of the dynamic stiffness. But, the thickness of the beams supporting the upper structure of a laser dicing machine has to be increased.

산업자원부는 우리나라 공작기계산업의 선진화와 일류화를 위해 중장기적인 기술개발 프로그램을 본격 가동하여 지난해 말부터 향후 5년간 1,2단계로 나누어 약 280억원(정부:160억원 민간:120억원)을 집중 투자 개발하기로 하였다. 본 연구는 한국기계연구원(원장 황해용)의 총괄사업책임자인 박종권 박사 연구팀을 통해 산ㆍ학ㆍ연의 협동체제를 구축하여 개발되는 것으로서 21세기 기술선진국 진입을 위해 고부가가치로 국제경쟁력이 높으면서 전 산업으로의 기술적, 경제적 파급효과가 크고 5년 내외에 실용화 및 상품화가 가능하여 시장성과 직결될 수 있는 과제를 세부개발 목표로 하여 추진하게 된다.
철근 콘크리트 연속 유공 깊은 보의 전단내력에 관한 해석적 연구

The purpose of this report is investigation of shear behaviors of the deep beam through non-lineal Finite Element Method based on experimental results of continuous deep with opening. Optimum condition for analysis was selected by means of adopting various material property as variables, and additional models including different position of opening selected as variables was simulated. Also experimental result was calibrated by two formula suggested by AIJ and CIRIA, considering effect of opening in the continuous deep beams. As a result of calibration, it is possibly estimated that shear strength formula suggested by AIJ(the Architectural Institute of Japan) can be also adopted as formula for continuous beam. It is expected that results of this research which evaluated shear behavior of the continuous deep beam through non-lineal Finite Element Method can be applied data for reinforcement in the vicinity of opening in the continuous deep beams.

Existing manufacturing system has consumed too much energy, space and resource in micro parts manufacturing. To improve this, micro factory system is suggested. But it is difficult to get the high reliability in the assembly, production and inspection of the minute parts because the construction of the micro factory has been started just before. In this study, we will build the digital manufacturing simulation on the micro factory's process and verify the production and assembly process using this simulation.

반도체 레이저의 주파수를 절대적으로 안정화시키기 위하여 루비듐 원자의 흡수선을 이용하였다. 이를 위해 두 개의 서로 수직인 편광자 안에 류비듐 셀을 설치하고, 광펌핑으로 루비듐 원자에 원형 복굴절을 유도하였다. 반도체 레이저에서 나온 레이저 빔이 이 셀을 통과하여 되먹임 되도록하여 광학적으로 반도체 레이저의 주파수를 안정화 시켰다. Absorption spectrum of Rubidium atoms was utilized to stabilize the oscillation frequency of a semiconductor laser. A Rubidium cell was installed between crossed polarizers and circular birefringence was induced by optical pumping. The frequency of a semiconductor laser was stabilized by optical feedback of transmitted laser beam through the optically pumped cell.

In this study, a systematic design scheme was developed to reduce a subjective design of micro/mesoscale machine tools. Based on this developed method, the optimization of the size of micro/mesoscale machine tools was performed. These computations include individual mathematical modeling of key parameters such as volumetric error, machine working space, and static, thermal, and dynamic stiffness. In case of dynamic stiffness, it was supplemented with a hammer impact test to identify the dynamic characteristics of the joints.

In this paper, a micro workpiece clamping device, which is possible to be applied in micro machine-tools, based on a shape memory alloy is introduced. Especially, the train procedure to transform a commercial one-way shape memory alloy into a two-way shape memory alloy is described. Also, it is experimentally verified that through the train procedure, the applied shape memory alloy ring exhibits two-way shape memory behavior of 220㎛ deformation. In addition, a conceptual design and a basic configuration of the work-piece clamping device using the two-way type shape memory alloy are suggested.
반도체 패키징 검사장비의 구조 동특성 개선에 관한 연구

The dynamic performances, such as natural frequency, damping and dynamic compliance are playing bigger roles for high speed inspection equipments for the modern semiconductor production systems. In this study, the dynamic characteristics of the prototype of a inspection system was has been evaluated using ANSYS based modal and harmonic analysis. The inspection equipment need to be operated in high acceleration over 1G with short settling time. The computation and experiment shows that the supporting frame structure of the machine should have enough dynamic stiffness to reduce residual vibration caused by movement of the stages.
