      • 웹 시술을 이용한 네트워크 모니터링 시스템의 설계 및 구현

        현재의 네트워크 관리는 그 크기와 복잡도가 증가함에 따라 관리하기가 어렵고 또한 네트웍관리 도구의 사용방법을 숙지하기가 어렵다. 또한 현재의 관리 도구들은 플랫폼에 종속적이어서 서로 다른 플랫폼에서 동일한 관리도구를 사용할 수 없으며 일로 인해 네트웍 관리 도구의 개발 속도가 지연된다. 따라서 앞으로의 네트웍 관리도구은 복잡성, 플랫폼 종속성을 해결할 수 있고 효율성과 호환성을 갖추고 있어야 하는데 이러한 요구사항은 자바와 SNMP를 이용한 Web 기술을 이용하여 충족할 만 한 해결책을 제시할 수 있다. 본 논문은 인터넷의 성능 및 장애관리를 위하여 Java를 이용한 Web 기반의 네트워크 트래픽 모니터링 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다. 이 시스템은 네트워크 장비(허브, 라우터, 브리지 등)에 탑재되어 있는 SNMP agent간에 관리정보를 교환함으로서 네트워크 트래픽을 모니터링 할 수 있는 시스템이다. 실제로 동서대학교 교내의 네트웍의 허브와 라우터 장비를 대상으로 플랫폼에 비종속적인 네트웍 트래픽 모니터링 시스템을 구현하였다. 이 시스템은 Web을 이용한 사용자에게 친숙성을 제공하기 위하여 GUI(Graphic User Interface)부분을 JFC(Java Foundation Classes)로 강화하였다. Today's computer networks are composed of multiple types of interconnected networks. On top of these networks, there exist various systems and services supporting a wide variety of applications within an organization. Providing a secure, reliable and efficient operating environment to support the organization's daily activities and its business is the most challenging task faced by operations and management staff today. In order to provide such an environment, computer networks must be monitored for performance, configuration, security, accounging and fault management. Current management practices typically involve the use of complex, hard-to-learn and hard-to-use tools for managing networks. What is needed desperately is a set of simple, uniform, ubiquitous tools for managing networks. Web-based management is a promising approach that can provide such a solution. This paper focuses on the use of Web technology for the purposes of network traffic monitoring and reporting. In this paper, we present a design and implementation of a Web-based network traffic monitoring and reporting system that satisfies those requirements. We also present guidelines we have formulated and used for analyzing network traffic. We then discuss about our future works for network traffic monitoring.

      • 유전적 알고리즘을 이용한 근거리 통신망의 위상 설계

        최근에 많은 기업체에서 네트워크 설계 분야에 많은 관심이 집중되고 있다. 본 논문에서 Star-Ring LAN(Local Area Network)상에서 허브(HUB)의 할당과 경로 선택 문제를 취급한다. Star-Ring LAN의 설계는 1)허브들과 사용자 노드 즉, 컴퓨터들간의 연결,2)허브들간의 경로 선택 문제로 나눌 수 있다. 여기서 제안한 수학적 모델은 허브의 설치 비용과 각 노드에서 트래픽의 전송 지연 시간을 고려한다. 그리고, 최적 해를 탐색하기 위하여 경험적 탐색 방법의 하나인 유전 알고리즘(GA:Genetic Algorithm)을 설계한다. 끝으로 본 논문에서 제안된 유전 알고리즘의 성능을 검증하기 위하여 하나의 수치 예를 보인다. In this paper, we deal with HUB allocation and routing problem on Star-Ring LAN. The design of Star-Ring LAN is divided into two level problems; 1) connecting between HUBs and user nodes(i.e,computers), and 2) routing between HUBs, and delay time due to communication traffic at each node should be considered as the important factors. Also, we investigate GA(genetic Algorithm) as heuristic method to search the optimal solution. Lastly we suow a numerical example to demonstrate good performances of tje proposed method.

        최근에 많은 기업체에서 LAN(Local Area Network)을 기반으로 하는 인터넷 환경을 구축하는 예가 종종 보고되어 지는 것을 보면 네트워크 설계분야에 많은 관심이 집중되고 있음을 알 수 있다. 본 논문에서, Star-Ring LAN상에서 HUB의 할당과 경로 선택 문제를 취급한다.       • ICT 활용 교육의 실제와 문제점 분석

        The traditional teaching methods are proving to be ineffective and inefficient for the diverse student population, and those are creating a number of challenges. One approach being taken into account these challenges is the education system based on the ICT(Information, Communication Technology). This paper analyzes how current software applications are being utilized in school education and also suggests effective ways for ICT-based education. A survey study was conducted for investigating the current status of the ICT-based education in 2 high schools in Busan. The major concerns of the questionaries are about the confuter-related educational activities, the teacher's recognition for the ICT.

      • 다형성 교모세포종에서 광범위 전적출술후 단기 재발된 치험 1예

        Glioblasty/ma Multiforme(GBM) is the one of the most common malignant tumors in central nervous system(CNS). The incidence of the tumor is about 12% of all CNS tumors and about 50% of all intracranial tumors. Though the development of the microsurgical technique, radiosurgical technique, and chemotherapy works effectively, complete cure of the GBM has not been achieved. It has been known that the prognosis of GBM depends on the extent of surgical tumor removal, remained tumor volume, radiation dose, and chemotherapy. Not only patient's age but also tumor characteristics such as MRI enhancement, angiogenesis and necrosis are also very important prognostic factors. Authors experienced very aggressive GBM in aged woman, who received gross total tumor removal, but refused other therapeutic motalities postoperatively. Very rapid recurrence of GBM and global cerebral edema in aged woman should be considered fatal. This case demonstrates the effectiveness of aggressive removal and the limited usefulness of neurosurgical tools in GBM recurrence. Authors would suggest that the early diagnostic effort and the verified neurosurgical therapy for malignant tumor are still strongly requested to make better prognosis.

        <P>Summary: A simple method to prepare surfactant-free and solvent-free semiconducting polymer particles by using an environmentally benign supercritical carbon dioxide (scCO<SUB>2</SUB>) process is reported.         Gastroprotective Effects of Brassica Oleracea Var. Capitata Extraction by Suppressing Histamine Releasing in HCl-Ethanol Induced Gastritis Rat Model

        This study evaluates the gastroprotective effect of cabbage extract with sulforaphane content of 5.19 mg/L and Smethylmethionine content of 469.28 μg/L. In vitro, the lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-treated group had an increased NO activity compared to the normal group, and the concentration of NO was reduced when the cabbage extract was treated in the dose manner. The level of IL-6 induced by LPS was dose-dependently reduced when the extract was treated. The cabbage extract concentration was orally administered in rats at 5.75 mg/kg, 11.5 mg/kg, and 23 mg/ kg, and the inhibitory effect on gastric damage by HCl-ethanol was observed. Histological analysis exhibited mucosal erosion in the gastritis model compared to the normal group, while the ameliorating effect of the generated erosion was observed in the cabbage-treated group. The histamine concentration was significantly increased in the gastritis-induced animal model, and the histamine concentration was decreased in the 23 mg/L-treated group of cabbage extract. In conclusion, the results of this study suggest that cabbage extract not only down-regulates cytokines in vitro, but is also directly involved in histamine secretion in an animal model of gastritis; therefore, cabbage extract can help inhibit gastrointestinal disorders by improving the protective barrier.
