        부분 무치악 환자에서 마그네슘 이온주입 임플란트의 성공률에 대한 전향적 임상연구

        Purpose: This study examined the clinical success rate of Mg titanate implants (M Implant system, Shinhung, Korea), which employ a Mg coating method, by evaluating the marginal bone loss and implant stability using radiographs and Osstell, over a 1 year. Materials and methods: The locations of the implants placement were divided into 4 areas; the maxillary and mandibular premolars and molars. In the maxilla, 8 and 9 implants were inserted in the premolar and molar areas, respectively. In the mandible, 11 and 51 implants were inserted in the premolar and molar areas. Marginal bone loss and ISQ of all implants (79) were measured after insertion, mounting the prosthetic appliance, and 1, 3, 6, and 12 months after loading. The marginal bone loss was measured from the radiograph using XCP bite, which was customized, and the implant stability measured using Osstell. Fisher's exact test (α=.05) was used to compare the success rates of each region. Results: The mean marginal bone loss for the upper and lower jaws were 1.537 mm and 1.172 mm. The mobility showed a non-significant reduction or increase according with time. The success rates were accounted for 94.12% and 98.39% in the upper and lower jaws; the premolars and molars were accounted for 100% and 96.67%. The two cases of early failure resulted from failure of primary stability during implant insertion. The late failures were not observed for 1 year after adding a loading to the implants. Conclusion: The Mg titanate implant showed good primary stability and good clinical results in both healing and function. 연구 목적: 부분 무치악 환자에서 Mg titanate implant (M Implant system, Shinhung, Korea)의 보철후 1년간의 방사선사진을 이용한 변연골 흡수량과 Osstell을 이용한 임플란트 안정성 평가 결과를 분석하여 임상적인 성공률에 대해 알아보고자 한다. 연구 재료 및 방법: 38명의 환자에 79개의 임플란트를 식립하여 보철 후 1년 동안 변연골 흡수량, 임플란트의 동요도, 임플란트 식립 위치에 따른 분포 및 성공률, 보철 전후에 따른 성공률을 분석했다. 결과: 변연골의 흡수량은 보철물 장착 후 1년간의 평가에서 상악에서는 평균 1.537 mm, 하악에서는 평균 1.172 mm의 변연골 흡수가 관찰되었으며, 전체적인 상하악의 평균 변연골 흡수량은 1.255 mm로 관찰되었다. 수술 후 시간이 경과함에 따라 ISQ값은 미약하게 감소하였다가 증가하는 경향을 보였으나, 상악과 하악 모두에서 식립 당일 이후 예비 인상일, 최종 보철물의 장착일과 주기적인 평가 기간 동안 ISQ값의 큰 증가나 감소를 나타내지는 않았다. 성공률은 상악에서의 94.12%였고, 하악에서의 98.39%였다. 결론: 본 실험의 결과로 미루어 Mg titanate implant는 임상적으로 양호한 결과를 보여주었다.

        One of the most important purposes in VOD (Video On Demands) sever is to suppose high quality of retrieving service to more clients in restricted times. The process that VOD server retrieves and transfers the video data on storage devices which clients request is real-time tasking, but the process that the video data is placed and saved on storage devices in non real-time tasking. So, Through considering characteristics of video data and performance of storage devices that the data is saved, we can maximize to service the real-time requests to more clients that VOD server retrieves and transfers video data. In this paper, we propose a new placement policy of disk system based on large disk system composed a many disks with varying performances, as RAID. First, we partition disks by their performance into quite a few groups. Then, we select the best disks group to save encoded video data, evaluating variable bit rate of the encoded video data.

      • Characterization of a Constitutive β-Lactamase from a Pseudomonas aeruginosa

        Objective : We analyzed some physicochermical chracteristics of a constitutive β-lactamase from a clinical isolate of a Pseudomonas aeruginosa which resistant to various β-lactams except imipenem and susceptible to aminoglycosides the proportion of its contribution to such resistance profile. Method : 1. Antimicrobial susceptibility test was done by the broth dilution method. 2. In hibition profile was done using EDTA, HgCl₂ and p-chloromercuribenzoate (pCMB). We also measured 50% inhibitory concentration(IC??) using β-lactamase inhibitors, such as clavulanic acid, sulbactam. 3. Kinetics study for substrate profile was performed by spectrophotometric assay using crude extracts and various antimicrobial agents. Relative hydropysis rates were determined. 4. The isoelectric point(pI) was determined by isoelectric focusing. The molecular weight was estimated by SDS-polycrylamide gel electrophoresis. Results : 1. The strain was resistant to ceftriaxone, sulperazon, piperacillin, ceftazidime, and aztreonam, while it was susceptible to gontamicin, tobramycin, amikacin and imipenem. 2. The β-lactamase was not inhibited by EDTA, and pCMB, whereas it was inhibited by HgCI₂. The IC?? of clavulanic acid was over 100μM and that of sulbactam was 22μM. 3. The relative maximal hydrolysis rate was calculated by setting V_(max) for cephaloridine at 100. The enzyme hydrolyzed cephalosporins more rapidly than penicillins. 4. The pI was 9.3 by isoelectric focusing. The molecular weight was estimated to be 40kDa. Conclusion : According to its substrate profile, pI and molecular weight, the β-lactamase from a clinical isolate of P. aeruginosa was a cephalosporinase belonging to group 1 in the Bush-Jacoby-Medeiros classification scheme.

      • 抗癌丹을 投與한 胃癌 患者 105例에 對한 臨床報告

        Clinical studies were carried out 105 cases of patients with stomach cancer treated by Hangamdan(抗癌丹) from January 1th 1998 to September 30th 2000. The results were summarized as follows; 1. Distribution of those attached by stomach cancer, by sex, showed that Male is more then Female, by age, showed that the number of forties, fifties, sixties are majority. 2. Distribution of diagnostic stage, in descending order; stage Ⅲ(45.1%, top), stage Ⅳ(40.2%). 3. The effects of maintenance and improvement in the symptoms with traditional oriental therapy(77.8%) and combined treatment of western and oriental therapy(92.3%) were observed. The effects of the symptoms were as follows; abdominal pain (16.3%), general body weakness(10.5%), nausea&vomiting (8.6%), diarrhea(6.7%) and etc, in orders. 4. Analysis of hematology attached by stomach cancer, maintenance and increasing of WBC(89.4%), RBC(63.6%), Hgb(62.3%), Platelet(95.6%) were observed. After taken Hangamdan, the safety of the liver and kidney were as follows; maintenance and decreasing of AST(85.3%), ALT(91.6%), BUN(84.8%), Creatinine(92.4%) were observed. 5. Analysis of IL-12 and IFN-γ attached by stomach cancer, increasing of IL-12(39.1%), IFN-γ(69.6%) were observed. 6. Analysis of QOL attached by stomach cancer, maintenance and improvement of combined treatment of western and oriental therapy(91%), traditional oriental therapy(85.2%) were observed. 7. Analysis of survival in patients with Ⅳ stage of stomach cancer, above 6 months(17.1%), 12 months(85.2%) were observed. 8. Analysis of antitumor effects, maintenance of traditional oriental therapy(81.5%) and maintenance and improvement of combined treatment of western and oriental therapy(89.7%) were observed. Analysis of tumor marker attached by stomach cancer, maintenance of CEA(85.7%) were observed. 9. Analysis of curative valuation, maintenance and improvement of traditional oriental therapy(77.7%), combined treatment of western and oriental therapy(82.1%) were observed. From the above results, it is suggested that Hangamdan has significant effects of antitumor and immune activity, also could be usefully applied for stomach cancer patients by combination with western therapy or alone.

      • 冬蟲夏草의 抗轉移와 免疫增進에 關한 硏究

        This experimental study was carried out to evaluate the effects of Cordiceps sinensis on the antimetastasis and immune activity. In order to investigate the effect of Cordiceps sinensis, the followings were performed; Cytotoxicity, inhibition of MMP-2 & MMP-9 gene expression, fraction of CD4+, CD8+, CD19+ in splenic cell, the moprphological change of splenic cells, gene expression of IL-12(p35), IL-12(p40), IFN-?? and splenic cell proliferation by CS-E. The results were obtained as follows. 1. CS-E did not present cytotoxic effect on L+14, B16-F10 melanoma cells and HMCB. 2. CS-E inhibited MMP-2 and MMP-9 gene expression more effectively compared with control group. 3. CS-E inhibited invasion of B16-F10 melanoma cells more effectively compared with control group. 4. CS-E helped CD4+, CD8+, CD19+ expression more effectively compared with control group. 5. CS-E activated phagocytic cells in spleen more effectively compared with control group. 6. CS-E helped IL-12(p35), IL-12(p40), IFN-?? gene expression in splenic cell more effectively compared with control group. 7. CS-E activated splenic cell proliferation more effectively compared with control group. From above findings, it is suggested that CS-E is able to inhibit metastasis of cancer and activate immune response system.

      • 유압관로에서 비정상유량의 속도분포에 대한 이론적 해석

        An efficient wave equation is analyzed for determining wave of taking into account viscosity and radial velocity and a oil hammer. Both frequency and transient response experiments are carried out with use of a rotary sinusoidal flow generator. The dynamic pressure of oil is measured and the obtained frequency characteristics are compared with the theoretical ones. Experimental and theoretical results make clear that the wave equation investigated here can predict wave phenomena in a wave transmission line containing a viscous liquid. i.e., in a hydraulic lines.

      • Oyster-Zeolite 흡착탑을 이용한 하수의 유기물질과 질소제거

        The objective of this study is to investigated the removal possibility of organic matter and nitrogen contained final effluent of sewage treatment plant using oyster-zeolite adsorption column with waste oyster shell and natural zeolite. The raw water was collected the final effluent of Janglim sewage treatment plant in Busan city. The organic matter and T-N removal efficiency ranged from 2~60% and 38~97%, respectively. In conclusion, oyster-zeolite adsorption column could organic matter and nitrogen removal of final effluent of sewage treatment plant and its economical efficiency is enough because of using recycled waste oyster shell and a cheap natural zeolite.

        Apo B-100 is a constitutive component of low density lipoprotein (LDL) of which functions in packaging, transport and absorption of lipids Extortive binding of anti B_(4)-antibody onto the Apo B-100 should inhibited the functions of Apo B-100 Previously we had showed that the peptide B_(4) induced antibodies recognized Apo B-100 and thus elicited anti-obesity effect In this study we compared the efficacy of antibody inducing immune responses by introducing additional peptides fused to the C-termninal of B_(4) peptide We constructed TB_(4) hybride peptide of B_(4) with preS2 of HBV and B_(4)N another epitope orientation of chimeric TB_(4) Among these three artificial peptides B_(4)N was the most efficient inducer of the antibody against B_(4) These result explains that the B cell epitope and T-helper cell epitope orientation is very important factor to determine the antigenicity to humoral immunity. Apo B-100은 LDL에서 지방을 포장, 흡수, 운반하는 기능을 수행하는 단백질이다. Apolipoprotein B-100(Apo B-100)에 대한 특이 항체의 결합은 LDL의 정상 기능을 방해한다. 선행 실험에서 Apo B-100의 모조 펩타이드인 B_(4)가 Apo-B-100을 교차 인식하는 항체를 유도하고, 비만 억제 효과를 나타내는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 본 연구에서 B_(4)펩타이드의 C-terminal부분에 펩타이드를 융합, 첨가하므로 면역반응에서 항체유도의 면역응답반응에 어떠한 효과를 나타내는지 비교해 보고자 하였다. B_(4)펩타이드의 N-말단에 HBV의preS2 펩티드를 융합시킨 B_(4)T의 N-말단데 또다른 B세포 에피도프 펩티드를 융합시킨 B_(4)N을 작성하였다, 세종류의 하이브리드 펩타이드 중에서 B_(4)N이 B_(4)에 대한 항체유도능이 가장 효율적이다,. 이상의 결과로 B cell epitope과 T-helper cell epitope의 방향성이 체액성 면역 반응에서 항원유도능을 결정하는 중요한 요소임을 확인하였다.

      • 서울 및 경기지역 노인의 신체적 건강 및 기능적 건강 실태 조사

        This study was performed to assess anthropometric status, functional health and physical fitness among the elderly in Seoul and Kyunggi-do. Four hundred forty free-living elderly people(127 male, 331 female), aged 65 or more were interviewed by trained interviewers using structured questionnaires including demographic information, activities of daily living(ADL), instrumental activities of daily living(IADL), physical activity. And they measured anthropometic status and physical fitness. All the data were analyzed by student t-test, chi-square analysis using SPSS 9.0 version at p<0.05. The results can be summarized as follow : Of all the subjects, 46.3% were obesity, especially 92.4% of female were abdominal obesity. In functional health status, ADL score was 6.62±1.54, and IADL score was 25.94±6.92. Most of the subjects were difficult to walk and run. Female was a significantly higher flexibility and body fat than male(p<0.001), whereas female was a significantly lower muscular endurance than male(p<0.001).

      • 단백 methylase 억제제 5´-Isobutyl-5´-deoxyadenosine과 sinefungin에 의한 BALB/c mouse 비장세포의 증식과 분화의 억제

        Whether or not protein methylation can be correlated with cell proliferation and differentiation in BALB/c mouse splenocyte cultures has been investigated by using methylase inhibitors, 5'-Isobutyl-5'- deoxyadenosine(SIBA) and sinefungin. 1) Protein methylase I and III activities were found to be elevated in LPS stimulated splenocytes, and the peak of protein methylase I was correlated with that of S phase fraction while changes in protein methylase III activity followed the changes in S phase fraction. 2) SIBA and sinefungin were proved to be potent competitive inhibitors of the protein methylase 'I and III in vitro with apparent Ki for sinefungin of both enzymes being lower than that for SIBA. 3) The protein methylase III were activated by 2-mercaptoethanol and dithiotreitol, and strongly inhibited by Cue+ in vitro; and the inhibition was almost completely released by dithiotreitol and diethyldithiocarbamate. 4) The extent of polyclonal antibody formation, S phase fraction and protein synthesis after induction by LPS were significantly inhibited in a dose response manner by SIBA and sinefungin with higher potency for the former. 5) Inhibition of cell cycle was also observed in the presence of cyloleucine, an inhibitor in SAM synthesis. 6) Of several enzymes investigated, namely protein methylase III, LDH, yglutamyltranspeptidase, and adenosine deaminase, the- protein methylase III was most markedly increased by LPS and decreased by SIBA and sinefungin than other enzymes. From the above results, it is suggested that SIBA and sinefungin suppress the cell proliferation and differentiation through the inhibition of protein methylation.
