The subjects of this study were 2,369 primary, middle and high school boys and girls of Korea(1,002) and Japan(1,367). 6 to 17 years old. The purpose of this study was to compare age-related changing pattern of body structure and body composition of Korean youth with those of Japanese, and to analyze the differences Korean and Japanese youth. The results are as follows : 1. Body height of Japanese boys was significantly higher than that of Korean boys the case of 12 fears old and older, and for the case of girls, 11 years old and older. 2. Body weight of Japanese youth was higher than that of Korean in the case of 11 years old and older. 3. Triceps skinfold thickness of Korean and Japanese couth was the highest among four regions, Calf followed it and suprailiac was the lowest in the case of boys. However, in the case of girls, subscapular was the lowest. 4. Total skinfold thickness of Japanese youth was higher than that of Korean in all age groups except girls of high school period. 5. Body density of Korean youth was higher than that of Japanese in all age groups except in the case of girls of high school period. 6. % Fat of Japanese couth was higher then that of Korean in all age groups, but LBM was the opposite case of % Fat. 7. Ponderal Index of Korean youth was higher than that of Japanese from 6 to 11 fears old. However, Starting from 12 years and older, Ponderal Index of Japanese was higher than Korean. As they grew older, differences in values of Ponderal Index gradually expanded for the case of girls.
소비자의 개인적 성격 특성과 휴먼 브랜드 애착 및 충성도와의 관계 : 빅 파이브(Big Five) 성격모형을 중심으로

Attachment is a type of strong emotional relationship that people usually first experience as children with their parents; later in life, this attachment routinely develops with other“ target”, such as human brand. Celebrities or entertainers can be considered human brands because they could be professionally managed and they have additional associations and features of a brand. The purpose of this study is to investigate (1) attachment to human brand by consumer demographics such as gender and age, (2) the relationship between personal characters (Big Five model) and attachment to human brand, and (3) attachment to human brand and human brand loyalty(satisfaction, trust, and commitment). The study found that attachment to human brand by gender had a statistically significant difference but there was no significant difference of human brand attachment by age. The Big Five factors had significant correlations with attachment to human brand. The findings also showed that human brand attachment had significant correlations with satisfaction, trust, and commitment, respectively. The findings suggested that attachment to human brand had some positive relationships with consumer personal characters. In the future, we need more segmented approach on finding out consumer’s personal characters so that we could strategically manage human brand. 애착이란 자신과 가까운 사람에 대해서 느끼는 강한 감정적 유대관계로, 최근에는 소비자 행동에까지 확대 적용되고 있다. 특히 유명 연예인과 같은 휴먼 브랜드는 대중들이 이들 휴먼 브랜드에 대해 얼마나 애착을 갖고 있는가에 따라 인기가 좌우된다. 따라서 인구통계적 속성에 따른 휴먼 브랜드에 대한 애착을 살펴보고, 휴먼 브랜드에 대한 애착과 개인적 성격 특성(빅 파이브 성격 변인)의 관계 및 휴먼 브랜드에 대한 애착과 충성도(만족도, 신뢰도, 헌신)의 관계를 분석하였다. 연구결과, 인구통계적 속성에 따른 휴먼 브랜드에 대한 애착은 성별에 따라 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있었으나 연령에 따라서는 통계적으로 유의미하지 않았다. 또한 휴먼 브랜드에 대한 애착과 빅 파이브 성격 변인은 전체적으로 유의미한 상관관계를 보였으며 휴먼 브랜드에 대한 애착과 만족도, 신뢰도, 헌신도 모두 유의미한 상관관계가 있었다. 결국 휴먼 브랜드에 대해서는 성별에 따라 애착의 정도가 다르게 나타났으며 휴먼 브랜드에 대한 애착은 개인의 성격 차원과 상관관계가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이는 브랜드 애착이 장기적으로 소비자와 휴먼 브랜드 관계에서 긍정적인 역할을 할 수 있음을 시사한다. 따라서 휴먼 브랜드의 전략적인 관리를 위해서는 소비자인 대중의 성격을 이해하고 이를 바탕으로 한 세분화된 접근이 필요하다.
유화제 첨가량이 MMA/BA 합성 라텍스 폴리머 시멘트 모르타르의 특성에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study is to clarify the effect of the emulsifier ratio on properties of the polymer modified mortar using methylmethacrylate-buthyl acrylate(MMA/BA) latexes, and to obtain basic data necessary to develope appropriate latexes for cement modifiers. Polymer modified mortars using MMA/BA latexes are prepared with various monomer ratios, and tested for air content, flexural and compressive strengths. From the test results. we knew that the water-cement ratio is decreased with an increase in the amount of emulsifier. And the air content is increase with an increase in the polymer cement ratios. In general, the superior compressive and flexural strength of polymer-modified mortars using MMIA/GA latexes is obtained ant a bound MMA content of 80 percent and a emulsifier ratio of 6 percent.
RR Lyrae Variables in the Crater II Dwarf Galaxy

<P>We report the detection of RR Lyrae variable stars in Crater. II, a recently discovered large and diffuse satellite dwarf galaxy of the Milky Way (MW). Based on B, V time-series photometry obtained with the Korea Microlensing Telescope Network 1.6 m telescope at Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory, we identified 83 ab-type and 13 c-type pulsators by fitting template light curves. The detected RR Lyrae stars are centrally concentrated, which ensures that most of them are members of Crater. II. In terms of the distribution of RRab stars in the period-amplitude diagram, Crater. II is clearly different from ultra-faint dwarf (UFD) galaxies, but very similar to the two classical MW dwarf spheroidal (dSph) galaxies Draco and Carina with Oosterhoff-intermediate (Oo-int) properties. Combined with the mean period of ab-type variables (< P-ab > = 0.631 +/- 0.004 days) and the c-type fraction (similar to 0.14) in Crater. II, this suggests an Oo-int classification for Crater. II and implies that its nature is more like a dSph rather than a UFD. We also estimated the mean metallicity, reddening, and distance of Crater. II, from the photometric and pulsation properties of the RR Lyrae stars. The stellar population model we have constructed indicates that Crater. II is dominated by an old population, but is relatively younger than the oldest globular clusters in the MW. With a lack of high-amplitude short-period RRab stars, Crater. II, like most of the other less massive dSphs, is probably not a surviving counterpart of the major building blocks of the MW halo.</P>
