새로운 수학수업모형을 통한 공교육과 사교육의 조화에 관한 연구

최근 학교붕괴의 모습을 보면 교육은 많은 문제점을 안고 있고, 학교의 위상은 날로 떨어져 급변하는 사회현상의 요구하는 교육을 공교육의 역할만으로 감당하기에는 현실적으로 불가능하게 되었다. 따라서 학생과 학부모는 사교육에 치중하게 되고 공교육과 사교육의 부조화로 많은 사회문제가 대두되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 설문조사를 통해 공교육 현장의 실태를 파악하여 학교붕괴의 몇 가지 원인을 규명해보고, 교육당국과 학교에서 현실극복을 위해 어떤 노력을 기울이고 있는지 알아보았다. 또, 공교육과 교육목표를 같이하는 사교육의 노력이 절실하다는 것과 이윤만을 추구하는 사교육, 공교육과 대립되는 사교육의 모습이 아닌 공교육의 보조자로서의 사교육으로 자리매김하기 위해서는 사교육에서 어떤 노력이 필요한가를 연구하였다. 공교육의 위기극복을 위한 한 방편으로서, 가장 어려워하고 따라서 사교육에서 비중을 많이 차지하고 있는 교과목인 수학에 관한 두 가지 수업모형을 제시하여 공교육과 사교육의 조화를 통해 교육의 궁극적인 목표와 본질을 추구할 수 있는 방법을 제시한다. There have been many kinds of problems in public schooling through the recent collapse of school education. The dignity and effectiveness of school educational system has been declined continuously and public education alone cannot practically keep up with the demands of the society that have been changing continuously. Therefore, more students and parents are looking into private education such as tutoring. Disharmony between public and private educations is also on the rise as a social problem. The problems related to current educational systems should be considered with the society. A great amount of investments and efforts are needed in order to solve the problems. In this thesis, the reality of public education was reviewed through the survey of students' opinion. Some reasons of this collapse were examined. The current efforts by government educational authorities and schools to solve the problem are also discussed. The main idea of the thesis is to discuss about the efforts of private education (sharing its goals with public education) to compensate for school education, instead of pursuing its profit only. The role of private education should be another educational system supporting school education rather than a competitor of school education. In conclusion, two types of new class models for mathematics education that is a major subject with private education have been suggested to harmonize public and private education, to overcome the crisis of the public education and eventually to achieve the goal of the education.
