With the widespread use of fertility medications and techniques of in vitro fertilization, multiple gestation has become epidemic in modern obstetric practice. Delivery of the initial fetus in a multiple gestation usually is followed by delivery of the subsequent fetus or fetuses shortly thereafter. However in rare circumstances, the delivery is delayed for days due to disappearance of uterine contraction after delivery of the first fetus. When uterine activity ceases after the delivery of the first neonate, a policy of nonintervention may be considered in case of an immature or very premature delivery, in order to achieve a gestational age for the remaining fetus(es) more compatible with neonatal survival. We report a case of twin gestation with prolongation of the delivery interval between the twins for 46 days.
Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy를 이용한 전도성 폴리아닐린 박막의 연구

폴리아닐린 박막이 화학적 합성중 용액에 담겨진 백금 전극에 형성되었고, 화학반응중 온도 변화와 백금전극의 open circuit potential (E_(oc))이 Satural Calomel Electrode (SCE)에 대해 기록되었다. 시간에 따라 형성된 다른 산화상태(pernigraniline or emeraldine)의 박막의 electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS)를 측정, 조사하였다. 산화상태의 차이에 따라 다른 경향의 impedance spectra를 얻었고, 이로부터 박막의 전기전도성 및 전기화학적 특성들을 연구할 수 있는 가능성을 제시하였다.

RAPD를 이용한 참나무류의 band pattern은 primer의 종류에 따라 공시 수종별로 구분이 가능한 표식인자(marker)를 가지고 있었고, 상수리나무 (lane 1-11) band pattern에서는 고유 band를 보였다. Primer OPA-10, OPA-16에서 갈졸참나무 (lane 28)은 갈참나무(lane 22-25) 및 졸참나무 (lane 12-17)와 공유 band가 있었으마, 갈참나무와 유사한 band pattern을 보여 갈참나무와 유사한 경향을 보였다. 촐참나무 (lane 12∼17), 갈참나무 (lane23∼27)와 갈졸참나무(lane28) 집단 간에는 유사한 band pattern을 보여 갈졸참나무가 갈참나무에 근접한 교잡종으로 인식되었다. 군집분석결과 28개 집단은 7개 Grpup로 분류되었는데, 제1 집단은 상수리나무, 제 2 집단은 갈참나무, 제 3집단은 졸참나무 등으로 집단간 종의 구분이 가능하였다. In the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) - Random Amplified Polymerase (RAPD) DNA analysis was performed on DNA samples obtained from leaf collected from wild Quercus spp. in Kyeongnam Province. PCR - DNA markers were used as a predictor of superior tree in future Quercus spp. breeding development. Eight primers were used for PCR and generated a total of 122 RAPD markers. According to the PCR products bands of Q. acutissima (lane 1-11), Q. serrata (lane 12-17), Q. uariabilis (lane 18-22), Q. aliena (lane 23-27) a n d Quercus x urticaefolia (lane28) were detected in all samples. Genetic relationships among the 28 individual samples were analyzed by the cluster analysis of 122 RAPD markers, which divides seven groups. According to the cluster analyses, First group are contains Q. acrtissima. Second group are Q. aliena, third group Q. serrata and so on. And close relationship between Quercus x urticaefolia and Q. aliena were ascertained by cluster analysis.

A material for supercapacitor was prepared with the conducting polyaniline colloid films showing redox pseudo-capacitive characteristics and was investigated by several electrochemical methods in order to understand its electrochemical properties. The experimental results showed that the polyaniline colloid films exhibited good capacitive properties in HCI solutions.
내식성 첨가물질로서 폴리아날린/금속(산화물) 복합체의 제조

폴리아닐린 합성에는 아닐린 단량체에 파라-툴루엔설폰산(ρ-TSA)과 같은 유기도판트를 사용하였으며, 복합체 제조에는 산화알루미늄, 산화마그네슘 등의 금속 산화물이나 나노사이즈의 아연 분말을 사용하였다. 이렇게 제조한 복합체를 다양한 조성으로 수분산 바인더에 첨가하여 내식성 코팅 물질을 제조하였다. Aniline monomers and ρ-toluenesulfonic acid as a dopant were used to synthesize polyanilines, and metal oxides such as Aluminum oxides, Magnesium oxides, and metal powders such as Zinc and Aluminium were used to prepare polyaniline/metal(oxides) complexes. The coating materials for corrosion protection of metals were prepared by adding the complexes of various ratios into a water soluble binder.

Malignant histiocytosis, originally described in 1939 as histiocytic medullary reticulosis by Scott and Robb-Smith, is a rare histiocytic proliferative disorder that often shows an acute onset and used to progress to death within a few months. This disorder characterized clinically by fever, generalized weakness, lymphadenopathy and hepatosplenomegaly, and shows a variable range of pancytopenia. Extranodal involvement is common, with an incidence ranging from 50% to as high as 90%, skin involves8ment was noted in 10% to 15%. Typical skin lesions were mainly founded in extremity. i.e. erythematous papule and nodule occasionally become to necrosis and ulceration. We experienced one case of malignant histiocytosis in a 46-years-old female. The major clinical findings are fever, malaise, hepatosplenomegaly and erythematous skin lesion. In the laboratory study, pancytopenia is noted on the peripheral blood. And also aggregation of many atypical histiocytes were shown on skin and bone marrow biopsy. So we reported one related case with malignant histiocytosis as well as reviewing literature .
