      • 다변량 분석법을 이용한 소양강댐 상류 유역의 하천 수질 평가

        The object of this study is to evaluate the factors affecting the water quality and to propose the influence of dominant factor quantitatively. The correlation analysis was performed to know the correlationship among the water quality items. As a result of partial correlation analysis, it was shown that the water quality items are affected by the rainfall item directly. The factor analysis was performed to grasp some number of factors on each point for deducing the items of similar variable characteristics. The four points were divided into different factor groups. It was grasped that NH_3-N and NO_3-N items have different variable characteristics after comparing the items. The Multiple regression analysis can decrease the number of observation. In the deduced multiple regression formula, it was shown that the rate of T-N, NH_3-N and NO_3-N in the independent variable took about 60% among all the regression formulas.

      • 그람양성구균에 대한 Teicoplanin과 Vancomycin의 시험관내 항균력

        An increasing frequency of methicillin resistant S. aureus(MRSA), methicillin resistant coagulase negative staphylococci(MRCNS) and Enterococcal infection have been observed in recent years. Teicoplanin is a new glycopeptide antibiotic obstained from the Actinoplanes teicomycetius. The molecular structure and spectrum of antimicrobial activity of teicoplanin is simillar to those of vancomycin, and has been reported to have an excellent in vitro and in vivo effect against various gram-positive infections. Therefore, we evaluated the in vitor susceptibility of gram positive cocci, such as, S. aureus, coagulase negative Staphylococci(CNS), and Enterococci to teicoplanin and vancomycin. The total 253 strains consisted of MSSA(40), MRSA(53), MSCNS(47), MRCNS(48), and Enterococci(65). They were assayed by disc diffusion and agar dilution. During the study, 57% of S. aureus and 49% of CNS showed resistance to methicillin. The inhibitory diameter of teicoplanin was 15-20mm in MSSA, 12-19mm in MRSA, 13-24mm in MSCNS, 11-23mm in MRCNS, and 15-22mm in Enterococci respectively, and showed sensitivity in all but 8 strains(3.2%). The range of the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of teicoplanin to MSSA, MRSA, MSCNS, MRCNS and Enterococci were 9.12-2.0㎍/ml, 0.25-2.0㎍/ml, & 0.25-32㎍/ml, 0.12-1.0㎍/ml respectively. One case of S. haemolyticus was resistant to teicoplanin (32㎍/ml) by the agar dilution method. Eight minor (3.2%) and one major(0.4%) error was observed when the MIC and disk diffusion data were correlated with teicoplanin. As for vancomycin the inhibitory diameter was 17-21mm in MSSA, 15-21mm in MRSA, 18-26mm in MSCNS, 18-25mm in MRCNS, and 16-22mm in Enterococci respectively. The range of the MIC of vancomycin to MSSA, MRSA, MSCNS, MRCNS, and Enterococci were 0.25-1.0㎍/ml, 0.25-4.0㎍/ml, 0.5-2.0㎍/ml and 0.5-2.0㎍/ml respectively. One minor error (0.4%) was seen with the vancomycin disk. The MIC90 of MSSA and MRSA exhibited the same results in teicoplanin (1.0㎍/ml, 1.0㎍/ml), and vancomycin(2.0㎍/ml, 2.0㎍/ml). MSCNS and MRCNS exhibited greater MIC90 with teicoplanin(4.0㎍/ml, 8.0㎍/ml) than vancomycin(2.0㎍/ml, 2.0㎍/ml). Incontrase Enterococci were more susceptible to teicoplanin(0.5㎍/ml) than to vancomucin (2.0㎍/ml). Results from this analysis indicated that both teicoplanin and vancomycin were very excellent for gram positive infections, especially those resistant to methicillin.

        The purpose of this research is to obtain the characteristics of strain and stress in the vacuum pressure vessel. The vacuum pressure vessel is used to many of industrial devices and cooling tower system. The vessel is under the vacuum pressure in this research, and we analyzed the stress on the vessel surface. As the experimental set up, we introduced the Static Strain Measurement(UCAM 70A, Kyowa) system. The environmental condition of vessel is reserved under vacuum pressure 50mmHg, and the vacuum pressure was made by a ejector pump system.

      • 하천 만곡률과 홍수량에 따른 수면경사도 산정

        In this research, we made a one and two-dimensional analysis of numerical data collected from the bend curvature of a bended river section. According to the result from the numerical analysis, the inflow & output angle caused a water level deviation which increased with an increase of the flood discharge. From the water level deviation of our two-dimensional numerical model, we obtained the maximum slope of 6.67% when the inflow and output angle was 105 degrees and the flood discharge was 500 CMS. As for the right side, the differences with the one-dimensional numerical model were reduced when the angle was more than 90˚. As for the left side the differences were reduced when the angle was more than 105˚. For a river with more than 90 degrees bend curvature, a hydraulic experiment would be more appropriate than a numerical analysis.

      • 하천설계기준의 만곡부 수면형 결정 방법에 대한 적용성 검증

        Through the result of calculating the deviation between the value calculated from two-dimensional number formula, one-dimensional number interpretation, and curving part water surface type calculation method, we could confirmed that the deviation is reduced more than 50% when we use curving part water surface type calculation method. Also it was confirmed that there occurs the reduction since the reduction rate of safe room height was 20% in 500 CMS of flood water quantity when we planed the construction of levee by curving part water surface type calculation method. And therefore, we have confirmed that the curving water surface type calculation method can be used as a simple formula in rivers with water quantity less than 500 CMS that flows in and out in less than 90 degree angle.

        강원도 유역의 유출 특성에 관한 연구(소양강댐 유역 중심으로)

        This study is finding the most appropriate model of kangwondo watershed. To synthesize earth hydrograph, It is found to several parameters which are used in existing hydrographes. then the synthestic hydrograph is compared and investigated wish many hydrographes of the rivers in kanwondo. These methods, Nakayasu, Clark, SCS are used to calculate the run-off of this watershed. When the calculated run-off is compared with real rating-curves, then it is found that the SCS method using the Clark's concentrantion time is the best way on this area having large watershed, long river length and gentle water slope, the Nakayasu method is more suitable on this area having small watershed, short river length and steep water slope. Also it is founded from analyzing run-off hydrographes, peak run-off and peak time that the Clark's method applied Kirpich's concentration time way is suitable in the area of kanwondo.

        The divided channel is not often used on the river and when the installation is for the controlling of the flow quantity. The determination of the channel size is not a easy task. Model tests are examined to confirm the variation of distribution rate by the method of the channel installation and the position of the structure and the adjustment of numerical simulation is executed by the comparing of the results. This study is to execute numerical model according to installation of divided channel by using AQUADYN program, the 2nd dimension numerical model, and HEC-RAS program, the 1st dimension numerical model, by the shape of divided channel. Also, it compares with difference by method about each case.

        When it is raining or snowing, floating debris flows into a lake and raises its turbidity. High level of turbidity in the lake often causes eutrophication, which pollutes the water. In order to collect and present some essential information for effective management plan for water quality, we carried out our research at the watershed of Mandae-cheon located at the upstream of Soyang Lake. We examined water quality at the time of rainfall or snowfall to analyze the changes in the amount of suspend soils(SS) in the lake.

      • 시판 참깨제품중의 미량 금속함량에 관한 연구

        The objective of this study was to investigate the contamination of trace metals in sesame products on the market. Seven varieties of both domestic and imported sesames(Sesamum indicum L.) were examines. Ten trace metals, i.e. arsenic, cadmium, cobalt chromium, copper, mercury, manganese, molybdenum, lead and zinc, were detected by inductively coupled plasma(ICP) atomic emission spectrometry. The results were summerized as follows : 1) The overall ranges and mean(ppm) were : As, 0.737-0.93(0.80ppm) Cd, 0.076-0.126 (0.084ppm) Co, 0.216-0.574(0.309ppm) Cr, 0.159-0.245 (0.203ppm) Cu, 8.26-12.3(10.45ppm) Hg, 0.069-0.179(0.125ppm) Mn, 11.0-26.4(17.24ppm) Mo, 0.301-1.01 (0.681ppm) Pb, 0.936-1.15(1.036ppm) Zn, 43.1-49.9(45.7ppm) 2) The level of arsenic was below the tolerance limit of the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs and FAO/WHO, but was high value as compared with that of other studies. 3) The levels of lead and cadmium in imported sesame were higher than other samples. 4) Especially, the level of zinc which ranged from 43.1 to 49.9ppm was 8-times higher than the level of other studies. In the cases of hazardous heavy metals such as arsenic cadmium, mercury and lead, the level of arsenic was below the tolerance limit and the levels of cadmium and lead in imported sesames were higher compared to domestic sesames. It is concluded that the tolerance limits of trace metals must be enforced to protect public health from potential contamination problems in sesames.
